Chapter 4: Marcy and I Get Motorbikes
Time Travel Sex Story: Chapter 4: Marcy and I Get Motorbikes - A novel-length do-over about a man born in 1955: he lived until 2038. A retired Buddhist monk befriended Mason and caused strange things to happen. Mace died normally, only to wake up at age 13 with all of his old memories. But he's not living his life over. Everything is really different. He's on a parallel planet with a completely different history and bizarre morals. It is the polar opposite of feminism. Succinctly stated: it's a raunchy romp. 33 chapters. Slow start.

I had only spaced out for a few moments. My two sets of memories would likely blend together more when I went to sleep tonight. It’s not like I have a split personality. I only hear one voice, Mason’s, with the combined memories of two different worlds.
I came back into the conversation when Marcy asked which motorbike I thought we should get. Dad had already decided we would get the same model.
I said, “I think the best choice is the Honda. It has a 4-stroke engine, so you don’t have to deal with 2-stroke oil. It handles like a bicycle, and we are already familiar with how bicycles handle.”
“The Vespa is a scooter, and the wheels are too small for it to handle well. It is comfortable and reliable, but it is also really expensive to service. Everything is tucked behind the body of the scooter.”
“With the Honda, it has a splash shield; you take off a few bolts, and the splash shield is easily removed. Everything can easily be serviced then.”
“We should choose the Honda models that come with the splash shield. Since it rains here every day during summer, I’d prefer dry feet and legs. The puddles here can get pretty deep.”
Another thing is that Hondas come in many colors. Other motorbikes and scooters come in one or two colors.
The biggest advantage is that Hondas will run almost forever with minimal care. They are mechanically superior to every other bike in every way. They will last and last.
( I almost said, “At this time.” I had lived well beyond this point; I saw no need for monster-sized Honda Goldwings here. ) The maximum speed limit here is only 50 mph with severe punishments for speeding. We would never need anything more than the Honda GL 500 Silver Wing introduced in the 1970s. It was a small, full-dress bike that would putt-putt along at 70 mph all day long and got great fuel economy, too.
I had no idea what bike is the king of the road here.
I somehow remembered that none of the motorcycles sold here were Made in Japan.
They are all built here by North Americans using parts manufactured here in our republic. They do this under license from foreign countries. After WWII, Germany and Japan could pound sand as far as licensing designs went.
Many people here have only motorcycles, scooters, or motorbikes. Cars are less common. People buy them almost exclusively if they have families or are wealthy.
That begged the question: are we wealthy? We don’t have a big family.
The only imported material we use for the bikes here is rubber. We import that from Belize, which is also an English-speaking republic.
Dad’s car is a ‘Miller,’ which looks somewhat like an updated Model T. It is a short, compact car with an off-white canvas foldable top.
Dad’s car is light gray. It has a small 4-cylinder flat-four engine in the back. It is a distant ancestor of the original archaic VW design, with a twist. It has a flat-four engine with rotary valves. That type of valve does not have the drag of normal piston valves with their springs.
A lot of horsepower is lost making the cams press the valves down against the stiff force of the valve springs. It’s more than just the springs. There’s also drag from the cam chain or belt, the cam support bearings, and associated gearing, to name a few. A poppet valve design wastes a whole lot of power due to friction.
The Miller, like the VW, is rear-wheel drive (RWD). The ragtop raises and lowers manually. Its transmission is a two-speed hydraulic automatic. Like all bikes and motorcycles here, the wheels have spokes. Spokes reduce weight and require less metal and rubber.
The tires look more like fat motorcycle tires because the car is lightweight, much like our 60s-era VW Bug. The Miller also has a limited cargo area: a small slot behind the rear seat.
This vehicle was never meant to go very fast. Nobody is in a hurry here.
I get a Zen vibe when I see how people here are usually happy and enjoy life more. Without the craziness of people racing around crazily, everyone is calmer and more laid-back. These must be Mace’s memories.
I doubt Dad’s Miller weighs more than 1,500 pounds. Why should it? The max speed limit here is just 50. The government restricts horsepower for good reason. Safety! The car also gets outstanding gas mileage at 50 MPG.
When I died in 2038, our public roads were too crowded, and people drove like maniacs.
I remember the mid-1970s. “Drive 55 to Stay Alive,” or something like that. We had an oil shortage, so we had little gasoline. Accidents and fatalities during that period were really low. I was one of the few who hated it when they removed the speed restrictions. Probably me and one other guy in the US.
As a motorcyclist, I used to drive a lot of country roads typically posted at 45 or 55 mph. It is a lot more fun to just tool around that way. Driving like a chicken with its head cut off is not fun.
Driving on Florida roads where everyone goes 65 or 125 always made me real nervous. My 3rd wife hated it more than I did. Tickets alone did nothing to slow anyone down there. It had reached total lunacy.
When I took those slow roads like Route 1 or A1, I enjoyed the drive or ride and did not get tired. At high speeds, the engine and road vibration sucks the energy and life from you. Ya, it’s fun for a while. But if your wife makes you stop for a drink and a pee every hour on the hour, are you really making good time on the road?
Because the rotary valve engine has much less friction, it has smaller, more efficient pistons. They put out 34 horsepower. 34 horsepower is more than enough for a car built like a lightweight tin buggy. They built it this way because of the Appalachian and Rocky Mountain ranges. It still has enough oomph to climb those hills.
The engine is air-cooled from below, with a grille in the back where the warm air exits. The cylinders have fins, plus the engine sits atop the transmission and rear axle. Larger 6- and 8-cylinder versions of this gas engine are used in over-the-road trucks. They have 6-speed transmissions. 8-cylinder trucks are used in more mountainous areas.
Dad is an over-the-road truck driver here. In my world, Dad drove a city bus.
Most trucking here moves farm trade between the 37 Provinces of RONA. That’s the Republic of North America. Most Long-distance travel and heavy transport is by rail, boat, or barge. Trucks move important items or items not close enough to a rail hub or waterway. Important often means fresh produce. Florida supplies many foodstuffs to the Eastern Seaboard and a little of the Midwest. We supply most vegetables to the cold north during winter.
We have a railhead here, but many smaller towns do not, which is where Dad’s job comes in.
Dad injected, “What other features are you interested in, Mace?”
He meant the Honda 50s we were expecting to get.
I said, “I want a second mirror for the right side. Sometimes riders ride together side to side. This way I can see someone on the right side too. If I’m on the left, near the centerline, and Marcy is on my right behind me, I won’t be able to see her in the left rear-view mirror.”
“Plus, I think I want mirror extensions for better visibility to see around my shoulders. I’m wider than Marcy. I have sat on some of these motorbikes; they all have narrow handlebars. They all have rear visibility problems caused by my shoulder width.”
Dad asked, “What about a book rack in back, rather than the double seat?”
Marcy injected, “I want a book rack.”
I said, “I would rather have a waterproof backpack to carry schoolbooks and other things.”
Marcy and Mom brought over breakfast. We had 5-grain hot cereal with white raisins and banana slices. It popped into my head that we grow grapes and bananas not very far from here. Grapes do well, especially around St. Augustine. Bananas do well in South Florida. There are short, yellow, and red bananas here. They are mouth-watering and more delicious than the bananas I was used to.
Mom added a dollop of heavy cream and a little honey to our cereal. We drank black unsweetened tea with breakfast. I realized that almost everything we ate was grown nearby.
We live in Jupiter, Florida. Just West of here are many farms and some cattle and hog ranches. This version of Jupiter is a minor port city. Many food items ship from here to other parts of Florida, especially down to the Miami area. Our tea is grown in South Carolina.
As for sugar, it isn’t the overly processed pure white sugar that I was used to. There is one variety of sugar here, and it is dark brown. The preferred sweetener here is honey. With all the farms around here, honey is common. Sugar is grown here, but not to the extent it was grown on my own world. Honey is king here. Burning sugar cane is closely controlled here.
Every farm in Florida has dozens of beehives. We do not have the same sweet tooth here as where I came from. Maybe it’s because we don’t import chocolate.
Honey resembles wine in one way: its taste varies by what crop the bees are harvesting and their location. For example, orange honey tastes very different than clover honey. Wine is similarly affected by climate and soil.
We don’t have many jellies or jams. The number one spread for bread here is pure butter. Number two is apple butter. Pennsylvania grows a lot of apples. Apples do not do well down here. A quick search of my memories made me realize mayonnaise may not exist here. Maybe I should invent it. It’s a very basic recipe.
Eating breakfast with my sisters’ boobies and Mom’s bodacious breasts sitting above the table is a serious distraction.
I looked at Dad and noticed he was looking at their pretty breasts too. He winked at me.
Marcy’s nipple area was almost as colorless as mine. The two of us looking at her little boobies had made her areolas wrinkle up. Mom’s have more wrinkles, and they are darker. Mom kept smiling at my Dad, and he returned her smile. Shit, they may need to take a ‘nap’ before we can go to get our bikes.
I thought my own parents were lovey-dovey; this pair are even worse than my original parents. They cannot seem to stop touching one another. Sitting next to each other, one always has a hand on the other’s arm or leg.
I sat there, happy to know I was in a very good place. The main difference is I have a ‘hot’ looking sister and a dreamy, sexy Mom. Both are as sweet as can be. This is so obviously not my old Earth.
Marcy and I washed and dried the dishes quickly so we could get ready to go get her and my new bikes.
In our bedroom, Marcy pulled out clothes for us. I realized she always did this: “Boys don’t have any sense of style,” she had often remarked.
I was good with that.
She shucked her Tanga for a pair of tiny, form-fitting girlshorts. Her girlshorts are called hipsters. They look more like sexy low-waist panties with a few buttons.
My male underwear is known as a thong; it’s essentially a pocket for my male parts with a little bit that covers my butt crack. I removed it to put on “boyshorts.”
We wear “girlshorts” and “boyshorts.” Normal styles for around here. My boyshorts are about 5 inches from the waistband to the leg hems, and they’re skin-tight. They feel something like a T-shirt material. My boyshorts today are brick-red. Marcy’s hipsters are bright orange, as is her matching tiny halter top. Her girlshorts are barely 3 1/2 inches from waistband to leg hem.
Looking down at myself, there is absolutely nothing hidden. My dick and balls are clearly outlined through my brick-red boyshorts.
These are both a form of boyshorts with similar designs according to sex. Mine provides a pocket-like place for my junk; hers are skimpy and have cutouts to show her hip bones. I don’t think I have seen hip bones for the past 30 years in my old world. Not with cutouts anyway. They went away after the 60s. Future women’s bathing suits grew more and more obscene.
I put on a sleeveless V-neck tank. It has one-inch straps across the shoulders. I have a tiny bit of armpit hair, but not much.
Marcy first tried on a top with a plunging neckline. I like that one; it reveals her titties anytime she moves. They don’t move or jiggle at all. I guess she decided it was too much for riding in the wind.
Then she tried on something she called asymmetrical. The left shoulder and arm are left completely bare, and there is a cutout above the right breast. That one is so sexy it makes me hard. It’s tight enough her goodies should stay hidden.
