Chapter 9
Western Sex Story: Chapter 9 - Western adventure mixed with raunchiness marks Mr. Linden’s debut work. It’s 1872, and young Caleb Warner, hoping to become a miner, instead finds himself navigating criminal goings-on while uncovering the needs of the women in the high prairie town of Judgment. Soon enough, he finds himself in a big ol’ heap of trouble.

Astride the gray quarter once more, Caleb crossed the great swath of swaying gold. Ever hotter, the sun’s unyielding fire beat on his back, and he wiped perspiration from his face with a shirt sleeve.
An early morning tap on the hotel room door had startled him awake. Under the thin blanket and tight to him, Erin had also tensed as long, sweat-matted tresses rose from his chest. With only the faintest glow through the still-open window, chilly air had finally succeeded in driving off the heat of their nighttime exertions.
“Who is it?” he’d called out.
“Grimley. Sunday. Warehouse is shut. Boss says head to the livery. There’s a package needs deliverin’. Double eagle.”
“Twenty-five.”
“Take it up with the colonel.”
After that exchange, footsteps had faded away. Erin had dipped to give his lip a playful tug with her teeth.
“Mmm, such a commanding voice, Mr. Warner.”
“Like that, huh?” he’d replied, running a hand along the silken curve of a firm buttock.
“Oh, yes.” His gentle squeeze of quivering softness had teased a shaky moan from the woman. “Mmm, very, very much, Mr. Warner. You possess such wonderful hands.”
A chuckle had escaped him as memories of Teacup’s quiet voice snuck into his skull. “So I’ve heard.”
“Hmm”—she’d unleashed the strangest, deepest moan while lifting her rear into his roaming digits—”there must be quite the bevy of women chasing you, Mr. Warner.”
“Chasing?” He scoffed. “Nope.”
The simple truth of his declaration had lifted a weight from him. Since his arrival, yes, enjoyed the company of two whores, a single encounter with each. The widow and her daughter? Nah, neither seemed the chasing type. Besides, nothing had occurred that would drive them to do so.
When he’d said no more, Erin again settled onto his chest to lie still, letting his hands roam a velvety spine. The most adorable whimpers slithered from her trembling lips until...
Overhead, a shadow whipped past.
A bird was swooping across the prairie. While tracking the distant shape, zooming lower with wings spread, he tugged on the hat brim to shade his eyes. A hawk. On the hunt, seeking rodents too slow to make their dens before the sun had risen.
The symbology made his jaw clench.
Erin’s quiet words came to him. No, not those muttered after Grimley’s departure. The earlier ones murmured sometime during the night.
Once more they’d coupled; that time, with her legs trapped against his chest and him bent over her, the hunger-filled married delight had been well and truly used. Tamed into utter silence, but for the rapid breaths battering his grin. In his shadow, the radiant smile up at him while accepting a “mighty staff’s” languid, forceful pulses announced her enjoyment of his “primal mating style.”
After he’d released her and rolled onto his back, she’d laid beside him, unmoving but for tremors that propelled quiet whimpers into the darkness. Once her breathing had slowed, soft curves, sticky with sweat, had pressed against him. Both sharp nipples were heated daggers, stabbing his ribs.
“Hmm, Mr. Warner. You are indeed one delightful young man. A true stud, in every sense of the word.” After a quiet smack of her lips, nothing but silence until a lower voice had added, “Suppose you must have more than a few questions. Do you wish to know, um, how—”
“Nope.” A turn of his head revealed shadow-shrouded pools. “Not really.”
For a good long time, more of that silence, but her gaze remained steady on his face. Delicate fingers, wandering his chest; gentle sweeps of shiny nails, tracing his muscles. When she’d made no move to leave him, he’d unleashed a heavy breath.
“Money, Mr. Warner.” Her digits swirled lower. “Freddy’s family is quite well-off. I’ve no idea how my father gathered the savings to send me to the finest of schools, nor how he arranged my presentation to Freddy. My husband fell in love at first sight. And I’ve learned to return that affection. We make our relationship work. From the very beginning, he accepted my ... needs.”
“Needs?”
“Mm-hmm.” Air hissed, heating his face, when shaky fingers discovered hardening flesh. “Then one night, he confessed.”
“To what?”
“His desire to witness such an encounter.” After a giggle, she’d bent to nip his shoulder as the fist glided along his shaft. “I agreed, and together we arranged the event. At first, my poor husband was quite stunned. With him, I’m not ... well, like I perform within powerful grasps such as yours.”
“And that works?”
“It has so far, Mr. Warner. Of course, we must maintain a tight level of discretion, you understand?”
“Yeah, I get that.”
She must’ve caught the timbre in his tone. Clarity said the woman couldn’t have risked being direct in the dining room, not with the cannonball less than a half-dozen yards distant. When her grip rose to clasp just behind an aching, swollen crown, tingles raced throughout his body.
“You, Mr. Warner, were simply too wonderful a man to pass by.”
His breathing caught when her thumb glided over the tip, smearing the fluid that might ease him once more into her heavenly portal.
“Thus, after muttering rather a detailed prayer to a so far quite forgiving God, a sinful, needy woman took an unusual risk, Mr. Warner.”
“Enough talking.” He’d rolled to cover her sweat-slick frame with his body.
While widening her legs, she’d murmured, “Yes, of course, Mr. Warner,” before unleashing a moan into his grin as slippery delight accepted his “divine appendage” once more.
Given the rapid thumping of the bed, no chance the following pleasure-induced screams couldn’t have been tied to his room. Not that Delly had commented in the morning as he’d passed by the front desk on the way out, but...
“Discretion?” he muttered to the hawk.
Now farther away, the raptor drew lazy circles above a gentle fold in the waving grass. The sands of time in an hourglass were racing ever quicker.
“Yeah, they sure enough are.”
Only in Judgment a damn week! Handsome? Alright, heard that before. Tall and well-built, okay. Thanks to the cannonball, also a fresh haircut and a shave.
Even when little, Ma foretold him growing up to be a heart-breaker. Maybe he was. Met five women, bedded three of them. The other two? If he were headed in that direction, might’ve stopped by the farm. Instead, he was riding the opposite way, toward where the hawk began a swift dive.
“Nah, that ain’t fair,” he said.
It wasn’t; to group them was ... idiotic. Each offered a unique glimpse into womanhood. Even Eliza and Teacup; all they shared was a profession. Eliza had been paid to sleep with him, and kiss notwithstanding, no future lay before them. Hell below, there was no “them.” Teacup? An enigma, one who serves the colonel.
“When he pays,” he muttered, parroting her words.
However, at the “Palace of Desire,” she also performed for whomever paid a heckuva lot more money than a drifting fool would ever amass. A heavy sigh left him as the hawk soared once more in a flapping blaze of white and muted red. Whatever the hunter had sought must’ve dodged away.
Now, Erin. Their last conversation, as Grimley’s footfalls thumped down distant stairs, finally tumbled into his skull. After everything she’d explained during the night, plus the events of the previous evening before an enraptured husband, he’d not expected ... complexity.
“We shall be occupying a small home on the east side of town, Mr. Warner. Sometime next week, Freddy says. During the day, the boys are to attend school. The house is but a short walk from my workplace.”
When he’d kept silent, her sleek curves had risen until she could gaze into his eyes. With her gorgeous face, cheeks reddened, aglow in the rising sun, his pulse had thumped louder. Already surmised what would depart those rose lips.
“Would it perhaps be possible for you to stop by and visit, Mr. Warner?”
A gut punch. He’d expected nothing but a single night with her. Sure, it made him a lot like Eliza and Teacup, barring the payment particulars, but there’d been a simplicity to it all.
“No such luck. Hello, complexity,” he muttered as the hawk flew off, searching for less-attentive prey.
While sucking on dry lips, he scanned the horizon. Off to his right, a great slope rose, so the destination shouldn’t be far.
As the horse clip-clopped onward, the conversation with Erin restarted in his mind.
His hand had risen to move auburn tresses, flickering with bronze in the strengthening sunlight, from her face. With a low whimper she’d pressed into his palm, and he’d gulped so loud the woman had giggled like a nervous little girl. Such an utterly adorable sound, and a quiet answering laugh had left him.
But despite her warmth atop him, his chest had tightened as if wrapped in steel barrel hoops. Focus had arrived.
“I’m leaving soon, heading north. Gonna look into doin’ some mining up that way.”
