Chapter 3
Fiction Sex Story: Chapter 3 - This is set approximately three weeks after the events at the end of Book 3. The house is finally taking shape. “Is she sure about this?” Jane asks, for perhaps the third time since Chad, Willow, and Valentina arrived. While the week with Chad and Willow had apparently gone well, Jane is still slightly apprehensive. Valentina may never have integrated into the household the way Jane hoped, but she still cares about her well-being.
“Yes, Mistress.” Alexia says, not bothering to ask again. “I told her we could wait another week, but it’s not necessary. Valentina is happy with her choice.”
“Ok.” Jane says, exhaling slowly. Pressing the button on her phone, she sends the transfer request to Chad.
“Accepted.” Willow says, reaching over to tap the button on Chad’s screen. “Are you still coming to the camp for the preview?”
“Lorraine is going to go with me.” Jane says. “She was stopping by to pick up Edna first.”
“We’ll see you there.” Willow says. “I know Valentina is ready to get going.”
Valentina bends down, hefting the last box of her belongings, before giving them all an impatient look.
“Ok.” Jane says, after a moment’s pause, watching them head out the door.
“This is for the best, Mistress.” Alexia whispers, putting an arm around her. “She would never have been fulfilled here.”
“I know.” Jane says, wiping away a single tear. “Goodbyes are just hard.”
“Except when it’s goodbye to that bitch Lindsey.” Alexia says cheerily. “Besides, this isn’t goodbye. She’ll still be here helping out with the renovations.”
“I know.” Jane says again, leaning her head onto Alexia’s shoulder.
“We’ve still got a while before Lorraine gets here.” Alexia says suggestively.
Jane looks over at her, smiling. “I guess we do.”
Just as they reach the master bedroom, Jane’s phone beeps. “Maybe we don’t.” She says, pulling it out to read the text. “Lorraine just left Edna’s.”
“Damn.” Alexia mutters. “Tonight?”
“Hmm...” Jane mumbles as she thinks. “Yes, I think we can make that work. Tell the girls I’m pushing the schedule back a day.”
“Oh, I’m so relieved you are willing to talk to little Suzie.” Edna rambles as the car pulls out of the driveway. “This business with her husband is just awful. I tried to tell her, before all of this, that she needed to try a little harder. That boy always had a wandering eye, and when that’s the case, you have to work hard to keep them happy at home.”
“It’s not her fault.” Lorraine says firmly. “That ‘boy’ is a piece of shit. He’s not a boy either, he’s almost your age, Jane. I gave his parents a piece of my mind, and they didn’t even defend him. Can you imagine, your wife gets detained, Tom offers to give her back so she doesn’t have to go to the camp, and you say no? It’s despicable.”
“Wait, why didn’t he take her?” Jane asks. “Were they just not getting along?”
“Her idiot husband has been cheating on her every chance he gets, since just after they got married.” Lorraine explains. “He was discreet about it at first, but eventually he got sloppy, and the whole town knew about it. Ever since then, they fight, and then they make up, and then his truck gets spotted outside of someone’s house, and the whole thing starts over again.”
“Why the hell didn’t she leave?” Jane asks incredulously.
“Our family does not do divorce.” Edna says firmly. “For better and for worse. Rich and poorer. She just needed to try harder. Start a family, help settle him down.”
Jane’s face screws up at Edna’s words. “Have kids with a serial cheater who doesn’t care about her?”
“Marriage is serious.” Edna says. “He would have come around eventually.”
“Divorce wasn’t really an option for either of them.” Lorraine explains. “His family likes to think they are important in town, and his parents would have cut him off if he tried to get a divorce. They threatened it every time he embarrassed them, but as long as Suzie stuck around, they didn’t follow through. Now he’s hiding behind the excuse that they aren’t married anymore, because she is detained.”
“I’m not sure...” Jane starts to say. “Wait, is that how that works?”
“I asked Tom, and even he isn’t really sure.” Lorraine admits. “I don’t think anyone has pushed to get that legally defined. I think if they do, that’ll probably be the decision. Concubines have no legal rights, and a marriage is a legal partnership.”
“Ok...” Jane says, mind racing. “You said they fight, and then they make up. What’s the chance she wants to try to make up again?”
“Oh, no dear.” Edna says. “I’ve tried to talk to her, but after the auction last weekend, she is more likely to kill him than make up with him.”
Glancing in the mirror, and seeing Jane’s confusion, Lorraine chimes in. “Everyone, even his parents, have been trying to get him to do the right thing. He finally showed up at the auction last Friday, and so Tom put Suzie up first. A few of us went around before the bidding, to make sure no one else bid on her, and we all thought she was finally going home. When we told Suzie, she was so relieved. Then the little cocksucker just sat there, and didn’t bid on her. To make things worse, he bought three other girls, including one he’d been screwing around with behind Suzie’s back.”
“Jesus Christ! She has every right to be pissed.” Jane says. “Between hanging her out to dry, and buying his girlfriend instead, she has to be done with him.”
“Language!” Edna scolds, much to Jane’s annoyance. “Both of you.”
“Anyhow, the point is, you don’t have to worry about her wanting him back.” Lorraine says. “I’ve been to see her several times this week, and she’s always either completely depressed or fuming mad.”
“I bet.” Jane says, looking out the window at the view as they turn onto a curvy road to begin the rapid ascent to the camp.
“This isn’t quite what I expected.” Jane says quietly to Lorraine as they lagged a bit behind Edna. “Cheryl said the camp was in a prison.”
Ahead of them is a small building, beyond which is a series of buildings that almost look like single story dorms, or those little hotels from the fifties and sixties that used to be in every town that had seasonal tourism. The total lack of a fence, with the only visible security being a small guard shack on the road up the mountain, is what Jane finds the most surprising.
“It was a prison.” Lorraine explains. “It was never the ‘razor wire and guards prepared to shoot the inmates’ kind of prison you see in movies. This was for minimum security prisoners, who didn’t have really long sentences.”
“So, it was Camp Cupcake...” Jane says.
“Basically.” Lorraine shrugs. “It was never made for as many women as we had in here, but given the short notice, Tom didn’t have a ton of options. I know he’ll be glad to see this place shut down again.”
When they reach the double doors of the small administrative building, they approach the reception window, where Edna is already engaging with the woman behind the glass.
“Suzie Ward to reception, Suzie Ward to reception!” The receptionist called into an old-fashioned PA system, before nodding towards the chairs behind them.
As Edna moves to take her seat, Lorraine approaches, having a short conversation with the receptionist, before waving Jane to a seat next to Edna. At Jane’s inquiring look, she explains quietly. “I’m trying to arrange a bidder for her. Her husband passed away last year, and she didn’t have any obvious choices...”
“Oh, God.” Jane gasps. “That’s terrible.”
“It is, but the good news is that I think I’ve found someone for her.” Lorraine whispers. “He’s a widower, and his allotment is only one. I think they’ll be good for each other.”
“What?” Edna asks, looking over at Lorraine. “I can’t hear you.”
“Nothing, dear.” Lorraine says loudly, before turning to stare off into space. Jane pulls out her phone, checking on things at home while they wait.
A few minutes later, Jane shoves her phone in her pocket as the door leading into the camp opens rather aggressively, admitting a clearly very angry woman in her mid-twenties. Her tanned skin is flushed red, long dark hair trailing after her as she marches into the room. Jane takes a moment to admire her trim figure, before the woman comes to a stop in front of Lorraine.
“He’s letting that bitch wear my clothes!” She screeches. “That little pigfucker! I should have cut off his balls years ago!”
Jane smiles involuntarily, recognizing a kindred spirit in the fiery woman.
“Suzie, Honey, you are making a spectacle.” Edna begins. “The Lord gives us trials, and we women must bear them with grace and dignity.”
“Fuck the Lord!” Suzie yells, leading to gasps from every person in the building, except Jane, who is doing her best not to cackle.
“Suzie.” Lorraine attempts to intervene. “You shouldn’t say that.”
Edna stands shakily, clearly still in shock. “I’m going to wait in the car.” She mutters, before shuffling towards the door.
When the door closes behind her, Jane can’t help herself. “I thought poor Edna might have a stroke right here.” She says, doing her best to keep a straight face.
As the angry gaze fixes upon her, Jane adds, failing to keep the jocularity from her voice. “I agree with you. It does sound like he would be less trouble without his balls.”
At this, the expression on Suzie’s face slackens, nearly morphing into a smile for a moment, before transitioning into a frown. “Who are you?”
“Suzie, this is Jane.” Lorraine cuts in. “She has a spot open in her house, and we thought she might be a good fit for you. I’m going to go check on Edna, why don’t you two get acquainted?”
With this, Lorraine stands, quickly exiting the building.
“Is there somewhere we can talk?” Jane asks, looking around the room. “This isn’t exactly private.”
Suzie nods tersely, before moving towards the door she so recently slammed open.
Walking a bit faster than Jane can, Suzie builds a bit of a lead before stopping to look back.
“Sorry, I’m not twenty anymore.” Jane says.
“There’s a picnic table over there.” Suzie says, nodding towards a cluster of trees away from the buildings.
“That’ll work.” Jane says, walking alongside Suzie, who slows down enough to maintain her position.
“I’m sorry about back there.” Suzie flushes.
“About the pigfucker?” Jane asks with a laugh. “Or fucking the Lord?”
“Both, I guess.” Suzie says grudgingly. “I’m not normally like this, but I’ve taken just about all of the shit I can take, and Edna...”
“I get it.” Jane says. “Being told to be a good girl when the whole world is falling apart is definitely not helpful.”
“It’s not!” Suzie exclaims. “It’s not fucking helpful at all.”
“Well...” Jane says, taking a seat as they reach the picnic table. “I can’t promise to never tell you to be good, but I won’t get upset if you want to fantasize about castrating your ex. It’s not like I’ve never done it.”
“Ooh.” Suzie says, leaning forward conspiratorially. “Do tell.”
“There is a lot of time for that later.” Jane says. “I don’t want to keep Edna and Lorraine waiting too long. They told me about your situation, but I want to hear about it from you. Not just the stuff from today, but where it started going wrong.”
Suzie sighs, leaning back. After taking a moment to think, she begins. “It never really went right. When the pigfucker took an interest in me, my family was thrilled. He’s an only child, and his parents are kind of loaded. I put up with things I shouldn’t have, from the very beginning. I didn’t want to disappoint my family...”
“Family expectations can be hard.” Jane agrees.
“Everyone told me that marriage would make things better, but it only made it worse. I ended up spending twelve hours a day working at his family’s business, doing his job for him, while he fucked around. Every time I left, even for a few days, things started to fall apart. Employees would call me constantly, paychecks wouldn’t go out, his parents would blow up my phone, and then they’d have my family start on me...” Suzie explains.
“What did you do at the business?” Jane asks.
“Fucking everything, it felt like.” Suzie says. “HR, payroll, ordering, making basically any major decision. Occasionally he would come in, and then I’d have to unfuck everything he touched.”
“One of my girls has a small business, she makes clothes, leather goods, that kind of thing.” Jane says. “And we are eventually going to start growing food, and raising some livestock. I’ve got a few other ideas, but I don’t have the time or knowledge to plan them out. I’ve got someone trying to learn the finance side of things, but it’s not her strength, and frankly, she’d be happy to hand it off. Is that something you could help with?”
“Sure.” Suzie says. “Whatever you have going has to be simpler than what I was doing. Dealing with employees, while you have incompetent ownership trying to screw things up constantly, was the biggest problem. It doesn’t sound like that will be an issue with you?”
“No.” Jane says. “We plan to keep it all inside of the family, and I don’t need you to handle the other girls, so HR and payroll won’t be something you need to worry about. We mainly need help with the books. I’m fairly good with finances, but I’ve never run a business, and I don’t have time to learn right now. I need detailed info on what we are spending, what we are bringing in, and then help figuring out how to optimize that.”
“I can do that.” Suzie says. “That’s the easy part of the job.”
“Then I should tell you about me, my hubby, and our other girls, so you can decide if you want me to buy you tomorrow. In fact, the main reason I wanted to talk to you was because you know one of my girls.”
“Who?” Suzie asks.
“Megan.” Jane replies.
“Ugh.” Suzie grunts, face wrinkling up in disgust. “Is she still in that awful fake blonde phase? I can’t stand that shit.”
“We had it dyed back.” Jane says. “We didn’t care for the fake color, or the attitude that came with it. I understand you two used to be close?”
“Yeah, I was basically her big sister for a while, until she went to college.” Suzie says. “It’s like her personality shifted overnight. Everything I taught her was just gone, and she became a blonde bimbo. She came back home wearing a pink dress ... pink ... She hates pink, she was a fucking barrel racer for God’s sake, not a city girl who is afraid of dirt.”
“I’m guessing she didn’t take too well to you questioning her about that?” Jane asks.
“I never got the chance.” Suzie says. “She started avoiding me. That was around the time I got married. I really could have used a friend, and she just ghosted me.”
“We’ve had some issues with her off and on since she arrived with us.” Jane explains. “We thought we had them fixed, but they’ve popped back up, and I was hoping you might be able to help.”
Suzie sighs loudly. “What did she do now?”
When Jane walks out of the main door of the camp, she’s greeted by Lorraine, who drops her cigarette, before rubbing it out with her shoe. “How’d it go?” She asks.
“Really well.” Jane says with a smile. “I think she’s a good fit for us.”
“I’ll have Tom put her up early tomorrow.” Lorraine says.
“Thanks.” Jane says. “How’s Edna?”
“Scandalized?” Lorraine laughs quietly, not wanting Edna to hear. “You ready to head back?”
Jane nods, opening the back driver side door, and climbing in.
“I apologize for Suzie.” Edna says loudly when Jane begins buckling her seat belt. “She’s normally a sweet girl. Those other women must be a bad influence on her. Lorraine, are they doing church services here on Sundays? These people need Jesus.”
“The pastors are taking turns coming up on Sunday afternoon.” Lorraine says, having gotten into the car, and begun the drive back to town. “Maybe you should mention it on Sunday, and see if they can do something mid-week.”
“Isn’t the camp closing in a few weeks?” Jane asks. “There are only three auctions left, aren’t there?”
“Oh...” Edna says. “That’s true. Are you getting Suzie tomorrow?”
“Yes.” Jane says, carefully phrasing her next words so as not to offend Edna. “I think she’ll be fine, she just needs some time to get past that awful husband of hers.”
“She needs Jesus.” Edna insists. “I’ll make sure to save a pew for you on Sunday, so she can start getting right with God.”
“Oh, Thanks...” Jane mutters, desperately trying to think of a way out of this without causing rumors in town.
“Oh, Edna.” Lorraine says, sensing the dilemma. “I don’t think the Wolfe’s are Baptists. But I’m sure Jane will make sure Suzie’s soul is well taken care of.”
Craning her neck, Edna looks back suspiciously. “You aren’t Methodists, are you? I’ve heard all sorts of things about Methodists. I heard they allow women to be preachers. And even allow the gays to attend service. It’s just awful.”
“No, we aren’t Methodists.” Jane says honestly, desperately hoping they weren’t about to run through the faults of every Protestant denomination, and wondering if she could invent a plausible sounding one to claim to belong to.
“Did Suzie calm down a bit once you got to talking?” Lorraine asks, clearly trying to rescue Jane again.
“Oh, she did.” Jane says in relief. “The poor thing was just overwrought. I think getting her out of that camp will help tremendously. She was telling me about her work. It sounds like she is going to be a big help at home.”
“Did you want to ride with me tomorrow night?” Lorraine asks as the car pulls up at the house.
“I’ll take my car.” Jane responds. “I want to get home before Robert gets suspicious, so as soon as I win the bid, I plan to be on my way.”
“Thank you, dear.” Edna says, having calmed down a bit on the drive back. “If she gives you any problems, just let me know. She was always such a good girl growing up...”
“I’m sure she will be fine.” Jane says, closing the door before Edna can rope her back into the conversation. Waving at the pair in the car, she quickly mounts the steps to get inside.
“How did it go, Mistress?” Alexia asks quietly.
Glancing at the closed door of Robert’s office, Jane motions for Alexia to move to the sitting area. When they arrive, Jane responds quietly. “Get Lucia and Amber, and have them meet me...” Taking a moment to think of where they could all speak without being overheard, she continues. “At the front door, I guess. We can talk outside.”
