Chapter 6: Diamond Head Hike & Face-Off

The morning light poured over the lanai as room service rolled in their cart. Ryan sat shirtless in one of the cushioned chairs, his tanned runner’s chest still marked with faint pink lines from Madison’s nails. Madison padded out in the sheer white babydoll that barely reached the tops of her thighs, the thin straps slipping off one shoulder. Her long jet-black hair hung loose down her back, and the delicate fabric did nothing to hide the small, firm shape of her breasts or the dark triangle of hair between her legs.

She set the plates on the table—eggs, fruit, and coffee—then glanced down at the street far below. “Anyone could look up here,” she whispered, cheeks already pink. “We’re so exposed.”
