Chapter 18

Horror Sex Story: Chapter 18 - Flynn hoped his life of humiliation under the tyranny of his overbearing stepfather would end when he reached his 18th birthday. It didn't. Crossing that milestone only brought him to the strange world of his new boarding school. Within its walls were a coven of witches, a succubus, assorted monsters of indescribable species, and... of course... werewolves. He'd thought he had no privacy before. Now his privacy, and his body, are being continually violated in ways he could never have imagined.

The young lawyer looked over the documents one last time as the hover car took her through the final few miles to Bramstock Prep. She’d been surprised that her physical presence was required, but Bramstock was the strangest client of a law firm that specialized in the unusual.

She’d been told the school was once surrounded by miles of lush forest. But forests were a thing of the past. The last tree had dropped its final leaf hundreds and hundreds of years ago. Now there was only more of the urban sprawl that covered the entire planet.

She saw the school ahead through the glass. It’s final remaining building was an anomaly of stone in a sea of metal, glass, and shimmering force fields. Soon, even that would be no more. Its last student ... its only student for ages ... was about to graduate. After that, the ancient buildings would come down. The automated demolition machines waited patiently around its perimeter. As soon as her work was done, they’d power up and make short work of its destruction. Bramstock would be gone in a blinding burst of light.

The lawyer was proud to have been entrusted with this historic transaction. This was truly the end of an era. It was too bad the rest of the world would never know anything of it. Bramstock’s shroud of secrecy had persevered through the ages. A blanket of mind fog kept the surrounding populace from even noticing the building’s existence.

The car settled in front of an ancient set of double doors. The lawyer exited the vehicle as the doors opened seemingly on their own. Her implant presented a glowing white line leading through the doors to the dark interior beyond.

She followed the guide through a maze of empty, echoing halls, lined with doors to long unused classrooms. She imagined she could hear the voices and laughter of the unimaginable number of students who had passed through this institution. If the legends were true ... and she had no doubt they were ... there would also be the sound of anguished cries and screams. Bramstock had a history.

The glowing line ended at a door. It opened before she could touch it. The room beyond was large and mostly empty. There was a desk with a chair on either side beside a large window. In one of the chairs was a young man.

No ... she corrected herself. He only looked young. He was actually incredibly, unbelievably old. He was beyond ancient. As she approached, the illusion of youth fell away. The eyes that turned towards her were like deep wells of time itself. Every moment of his protracted existence was there.

The room felt bleak ... empty, and not just of furniture. There was an atmosphere of desolation that seemed to sap her strength and darken her soul. It was emptiness as a physical, oppressive thing.

She almost fled the room. This was why she’d been chosen for this task. It wasn’t the senior partners’ faith in her abilities. It was that no one else could bear to be in Flynn Sullivan’s presence.

He gave her a sad smile. “Sit. It’s ok. I’m used to that reaction. But I don’t bite.”

The lawyer sat. She waited, despite the almost overwhelming desire to finish the necessary business and leave. This old, old man deserved more respect than that.

“I realize my voice sounds hoarse. I don’t use it much anymore. There’s no one to speak to except a few automatons. The other students ... even the teachers ... have been gone for ... I don’t even know. Time has lost all meaning.”

She spoke. “So you’re all alone here?”

“Yes. I’ve outlasted them all. Even the most supernatural of beings have a lifespan. They all died long ago. The last, as you know, was my stepfather, the final, sole member of the board of directors. And he’d lived hundreds of years beyond the others.”

Flynn gazed out the window for a few minutes in silence. The lawyer began to worry his ancient brain had become senile and he’d forgotten she was there.

His voice startled her when it resumed. “He wanted me to come home ages ago. He told me so, and I could see it was true. He was lonely in that huge estate. He was old, and that age had changed him. But he couldn’t change enough. His ingrained nature would always stop him from making that final decision. It didn’t matter. There was nothing for me to go home to. The family I knew, my mother and sisters, were gone. The ones I never knew, my sisters’ husbands and children, their children’s children and on an on, were gone too. The last vestiges of the Sullivan line were absorbed into the world and were lost to other families and other names. The Sullivan name is no more ... except for me, of course. It’s just as well. The Sullivan legacy isn’t a good one.”
