The golden glow of the morning light streamed between the blinds of the hotel room, casting shimmering waves across the queen-sized bed where Max and Lily lay, still entwined from the night before. Max stirred first, his eyes opening to the sight of Lily snuggled against him, her soft white fur making a sharp contrast against his dark pelt. He smiled, running a hand along her back and down to that perky butt and fluffy tail he so enjoyed playing with as she began to wake.

“Morning, bunny girl,” Max said, his voice low and gruff with sleep.

Lily let out a soft yawn, stretching her body as she playfully pressed her backside into his exploring hand. “Morning, Max,” she replied, her ears perking up as she crawled atop him. “You always make me feel safe with you and mornings fun.”

Max chuckled, pulling her closer. “I enjoy waking up to such a lovely lady like you.”

“Max!” Lily gasped.

“Well, you know we don’t have to leave this bed just yet.” His hands slid down under her fluffy tail, sending a shiver through her.

The playful tension between them grew as soft kisses became more demanding. Lily’s breath hitched in surprise as Max pulled her up higher on his chest.

“come here.”

“What?” she said, confused but a bit excited.

“What do you mean, ‘what,’ bunny girl? I need to take my vitamin B, this morning,” he replied, sliding her vulva closer to his waiting mouth.

“Max, I didn’t know you took vitamins. I’ve never seen you take...” Lily started to say, but before she could finish, the hungry wolf’s experienced tongue made contact with her plump labia. With an inhale of her scent through his nose, he expertly parted her lightly furred opening.

Lily let out a soft, surprised squeal and jerked her hips, involuntarily pressing herself firmly into his face. Max’s hands held Lily’s petite backside in his strong palms, giving her enough support and guidance to begin a steady rhythm of pleasure.

The bunny girl braced her hands against the wall before her, matching her wolf’s rhythm.

Max took his mouth from between her legs and said, “Don’t move, bunny girl. Let me handle this. All you need to do is enjoy the pleasure.”

His rough tongue slid along her inner folds, focusing exclusively on her quickly swelling clitoris.

“Max, I really like that. Please, don’t stop!” she gasped.

He acknowledged her words by increasing the movements of his tongue, peeling back her clitoral-hood with it. With the sensitive gland exposed, he began focusing on it with a firm suction, as if trying to suck a thick vanilla milkshake through a straw.

“Max, I’m about to...”

And with that, the first though not the last of her climaxes rolled through her spasming body. He kept up his expert ministrations on his young lover. Each time she reached orgasm, her cries oscillated from high-pitched to low and guttural. Max enjoyed the sounds of her pleasure.

“Please, Max, I’m getting too sensitive. I don’t know if I can take any more. It’s too!” she was interrupted by another wave of pleasure.

Deciding to show his young lover mercy, he gave one more skillful suckle upon the sensitive gland. With that, Lily gave a high-pitched screech, her back arching before she went limp upon him.

Lily’s body slid off Max’s chest onto the queen-size bed beside him. The wolf turned onto his side, propping himself on one elbow as he slowly ran his hand along her back, down to her tail, with rhythmic strokes. Lily lay panting on her stomach.

“Are you okay?” he asked, a playful tone in his voice.

A moment passed in silence as he continued stroking her soft fur. Then, after catching her breath, she answered.

“Max, that really felt good. I’d never had it feel that way before. I mean, I didn’t know it could be that good.”

“Well, like I said, bunny girl, I needed to get my vitamin bunny, so I’m glad you liked it.”

“Oh, so that’s what you meant when you said vitamin B!” she said, with a satisfied look, as she rolled onto her back and looked up into her lover’s kind eyes. “So, Max, if you ever need to take your vitamin B, I wouldn’t have a problem with being that, my wolf.” She reached up, pulling him down on top of her as she wrapped her slender legs around him possessively.

Reaching toward his face, she grabbed him by his triangular ears and pulled him down for a deep kiss, tasting herself upon him. After an intense moment, she broke the kiss.

“Max, I want to return the favor. I want you to feel good,” Lily said as she looked into his silver eyes affectionately.

Max smiled down at her, bracing himself on his forearms, not putting his full weight upon her small frame.

“Lily, I would really like to do that, but we don’t really have enough time. We need to figure out why we’re in this reality, so we should get ourselves ready.”

Lily’s ears twitched, looking up at him cutely. “Are you saying you don’t want me to return the favor?”

Max chuckled softly, leaning in to kiss her forehead. “I’m not saying that Lily. How about I take a rain check on that. We need to stay focused, bunny girl. How about this: you take a shower first and when you’re finished, I’ll take one. Then we’ll get ready and grab some breakfast.”

Lily pouted playfully, her lips curving into a mischievous smile. “We could take a shower together, you know ... save time.”

Max smirked, knowing exactly what she was trying to do. “If I do that, I might just take you up on your request to return the favor.”

Lily’s smile widened, her eyes glinting with mischief. “That’s the idea, Max.”

He laughed, shaking his head as he got up from on top of her. Leaning down, he kissed her softly before sitting and watching her rise from the bed. As she walked toward the bathroom, he playfully swatted her on the butt, making her squeak in surprise and grin at him over her shoulder.

“Hurry up, pretty bunny,” he teased. “This mystery isn’t going to solve itself.”

The electronic click of the door was heard as Ruth shut it she stepped out into the hallway, adjusting her body harness over her shoulders and hips. Next door, Max and Lily exited their room also. Ruth noticed them and gave a warm smile.

“Hey, guys!” Ruth greeted, her voice inviting, her eyes gleaming. “How are you doing?”

Max returned the smile. “We’re good, just about to go get some breakfast.”

Ruth’s amber eyes lit up slightly. “Same here,” she replied. “How about I take you to my favorite diner? It’s a little off the beaten path, but it’s well worth it.”

Lily’s green eyes sparkled with excitement. “That sounds great!” she said brightly, practically bouncing with enthusiasm. Max chuckled at her reaction.

Together, the three of them made their way through the lobby of the hotel and out the front doors. Parked just outside was a sleek, silver vehicle, gleaming under the morning sun. Ruth removed the key fob from her harness’s outer pocket unlocking the vehicle with a beep.

“I borrowed this from Ricky,” Ruth explained with a sly grin, nodding back toward the entrance where a scruffy male skunk, the hotel receptionist, waved languidly in their direction. Puffing on a Joint. “He’s nice enough to let me use it whenever I need it.”

“Hi, Ricky!” Lily called out with a playful wave. The skunk gave her the nod.

“Take care of my baby, you hear?” he called out to Ruth.

Max and Lily climbed into the backseat, settling in, as Ruth slid behind the wheel. The car looked pretty standard until Ruth flicked a switch and the quiet hum of the engine signaled the wheels retracting underneath.

With a soft whoosh, the car lifted off the ground. Max and Lily glanced at each other, eyes wide, as the vehicle began to rise. Neither of them said a word, but the wonder was clear in their faces.

Ruth smirked, glancing back at them through the rearview mirror. “Welcome to the third lane,” she said, her tone playful but proud.

The car ascended higher, gliding into the third level of traffic. Below them at ground level, regular cars clogged the roads. Less advanced Hover cars filled the middle lane and they now floated in the upper lane a hundred feet above ground where the more advanced vehicles traveled. Max shifted in his seat, visibly impressed, while Lily pressed her nose to the window, taking in the city from above.

“This is cool,” Lily announced, her breath fogging the glass slightly as she gazed down at the parks, tall buildings and streets stretching far below them.

“Yeah, it’s something, alright,” Ruth replied, her voice casual as she kept her eyes on the aerial road flight path. “Takes a bit of getting used to, but once you’re up here, you never want to drive down there again.”

The trio continued chatting lightly as they floated smoothly above the city. Lily’s eyes were wide, soaking in the new sights, while Max seemed lost in thought. The silence broke when Lily spotted a massive building below.

“Wow,” Lily gasped, her voice soft with awe. “That’s a beautiful building. Is that a church?”

Ruth’s demeanor shifted instantly, her grip tightening slightly on the steering wheel as her smile faded. “Yeah,” she muttered. “That’s a church. My dad’s the pastor there.”

Max raised an eyebrow, his ears twitching slightly as he picked up on the tension in her voice. “He must be something,” he said cautiously. “He must be one heck of a preacher to run a place like that.”

Ruth let out a bitter chuckle, barely audible. “Oh, he’s something alright,” she said, under her breath. “One heck of a preacher, amongst other things.”

Max frowned, sitting up a little straighter, sensing something deeper. “What do you mean?” he asked carefully, his eyes catching hers in the rearview mirror.

Ruth’s gaze flicked to him, her amber eyes hardening. “Are you sure you want to hear this?” she asked, her voice low, almost a challenge.

Max hesitated, then gave a small nod. “If you want to share it,” he said gently. “I’m listening.”

Ruth exhaled slowly, her grip on the wheel loosening slightly as she began to speak. “My dad he’s charismatic, alright. Looks the part and knows how to get people to love him. But he’s a hypocrite.”

Lily’s eyes widened as she listened intently, her small body leaning forward a little. Max stayed silent, waiting for Ruth to continue.

“When I was younger,” Ruth continued, her voice tight, “we had an affair. He hid it, though. Didn’t want anyone to know. Kept me his little secret.”

Max and Lily exchanged glances, shocked but quiet. Max cleared his throat. “What happened?”

Ruth’s jaw clenched as she gripped the steering wheel tighter, her knuckles pale beneath her fur. “ The relationship, it was fine, I guess until I met someone who wasn’t ashamed of me. Someone my age. A bear.”

“And your father didn’t like that,” Max said, his voice soft but knowing.

Ruth laughed bitterly. “No, he didn’t. He found out and ... called me out. In front of the whole congregation. Called me a whore. Humiliated me in front of everyone. All because I didn’t want to be his secret anymore.”

Silence filled the car for a moment, the hum of the engine the only sound. Lily’s expressive ears slumped with sadness, her green eyes wide with shock. Max looked down, his hands resting on his lap, not sure what to say.

“So,” Max began softly, “did he force you into the relationship?”

Ruth shook her head, her voice steady but bitter. “No. It wasn’t like that. I wanted it. But he wanted to keep our relationship hidden, he helped me experience my first orgasm he made me feel loved, and understood and when I found someone else someone who wasn’t afraid to be with me in the open he couldn’t handle it.”

Max opened his mouth to say something, but Ruth cut him off with a short laugh, shaking her head. “Enough about me. We’re almost there.”

Max and Lily looked out the window as the hovercar gently descended. The wheels emerged from beneath the vehicle and they touched down smoothly in a small parking lot. The diner was modest, with a retro look, but the warm, inviting light spilling from its windows gave it a cozy feel.

“Here we are,” Ruth announced, her voice light again. “Best breakfast in town.”

Jane

I lay there, staring at the ceiling, feeling the familiar weight of disappointment settle in my chest. Beside me, her furred curvy body stirred, her back turned to me as she reached for her clothes scattered on the floor.

“Jane,” she murmured, her voice still thick with sleep. “I have to go. My husband ... he thinks I was at a prayer meeting last night.”

Of course, he does. They always have a story. I glanced over, watching her slip back into her dress, her movements hurried and nervous as if she were afraid her lie might unravel at any moment.

“Yes, you should go,” I replied, my voice flat. I didn’t bother to sit up or help her find her things. I’d been through this too many times to care anymore.

She turned to face me, her round eyes soft and almost apologetic. “I ... I really enjoyed it, Jane. You’re ... amazing.” There was a pause, the unspoken words hanging heavy in the air. “Do you think next time ... Pastor Moses might join us?”

I fought the urge to roll my eyes. They always ask that question. “Maybe,” I said, the lie slipping out as easily as her dress had slipped off the night before. She smiled, a glimmer of hope lighting up her face and I felt the familiar twist of resentment coil inside me.

She thinks if she stays close to me, she’ll get back to him. She doesn’t care about me, not really. None of them do. To them, I’m just the guardian to Moses, their key back into his graces and his bed.

I watched her finish getting dressed, the desperation evident in every movement. She was no different than the others, desperate for his attention, willing to do anything and anyone just to feel close to him again.

She bent down to kiss me goodbye, her lips soft against mine, but I didn’t kiss back. “I need to get back to my kids,” she whispered, pulling away. “I’ll see you at the next meeting.”

As she left, the door clicking shut behind her fluffy squirrel tail, I lay there in the quiet, staring up at the ceiling once more. I wondered, for what felt like the thousandth time, why I kept doing this. Why did I let myself be used, time and time again, by these women, by Moses? I could pretend it was for him that if I helped him enough, maybe one day he’d finally see me. Maybe one day, he’d want me the way I wanted him.

But deep down, I knew that wasn’t true. I knew he’d never love me, never touch me. I was nothing more than a tool to him, just like these women were to me.

And yet, I stayed. I stayed because maybe, just maybe, one day it would be different.

I remember the first time I saw him. I was traveling through the city on a walk, trying to find myself. I was six months out of a marriage because, at that time, I wasn’t true to myself. I was married to a loving man, a salt-of-the-earth sort of person. I thought I could be happy with someone whose needs and desires were simple. But mine weren’t. I was still conflicted with my own sexuality. I grew up in a religious family where we were taught that men should be with women and women should be with men and at that time, I believed that was how it should be. But there was something in me something that found my own sex and gender sexually arousing.

I tried to hide it for years, suppressing it, pretending the feelings I had for other females were just friendships, but I couldn’t keep lying to myself or at least, I thought I couldn’t. That’s why I got divorced because I thought what my next-door neighbor and I were doing couldn’t hurt anybody. We were just having fun until my husband came back from work early and caught us in the middle of the act.

The look on his face as he walked in on us the hurt, the betrayal, as I lay in our marriage bed, upon my back, with our next-door neighbor kneeling between my legs, her face buried where I so desperately wanted to feel a female’s touch.

He said nothing. He just looked broken and walked away. A couple of days later, I received the divorce papers. Even then, he was a generous man. He gave me the home and more than half of the savings, but I never saw him again.

Feeling lost as I walked through the city, I saw the church. My first thought was, Why go back to this? This isn’t you. But I was drawn to it. I walked in and I heard a commanding, strong, warm voice. I followed it to the large sanctuary and there he stood in front of the congregation, looking like an angel. Maybe someone who would understand me? I swear, the way he moved, the way each gesture meant something even then, how he seemed to make eye contact with your soul like he truly saw you. Moses Lightfur.

I found myself going back to the church. At first, it was just curiosity, maybe boredom, but each time I sat in the back row, I found myself becoming fascinated with pastor Lightfur. I’d heard about him and seen his name in the papers, but seeing him in person was something else. There was this charisma about him, like he could speak right into your soul. Every Sunday, he’d stand up there, commanding the attention of everyone in the room and I couldn’t help but watch. No matter how hard I tried to convince myself it didn’t mean anything, I knew it wasn’t just his words that kept me coming back. It was him.

I was about to leave after one of the services, my hand on the door, when I heard a voice behind me. “I don’t think I’ve officially met you yet.” I turned around and there he was Moses Lightfur, smiling at me like we were old friends. I froze, not knowing what to say. “I’m Pastor Moses,” he said, extending a hand, his voice warm and inviting. I swallowed, shook his hand and gave him my name Jane. But before I knew it, words were tumbling out of my mouth, spilling pieces of myself I hadn’t planned to share. I told him about the divorce, the mess my life had become and even about my sexuality, something I never talked about. I still don’t know why I told him. There was just something in his eyes that made me feel safe.

He listened, really listened, nodding at all the right moments, never interrupting. When I finally stopped talking, embarrassed by how much I had revealed, he gave me that understanding smile. “God forgives all,” he said softly. “There’s always a path back, no matter what.” His words should have felt like a cliché, but coming from him, they didn’t. They felt real, like a lifeline. Then, he suggested I start getting involved in the church helping out with women’s groups or volunteering for meetings. I didn’t say yes immediately, but somehow, by the end of our conversations, I’d agreed. And once I started, it became easy. I had a purpose again and maybe, just maybe, I felt like I belonged somewhere.

But it wasn’t just the church that kept me coming back. Over time, I realized what it really was I was falling for Moses. The way he carried himself, the way he looked at me when we spoke, that magnetic pull I couldn’t resist. I tried to keep it hidden, but deep down, I knew. And so did he. I could see it in the way his eyes lingered on me sometimes, just a second too long. He knew and that scared me. But it also thrilled me. I wanted him to notice, to acknowledge it. And then one day, during one of our many conversations, he did.

We were alone in his office. He leaned back in his chair, looking at me with those calm, knowing eyes. “It’s hard being in my position,” he said, almost like he was talking to himself. “I don’t have time for relationships. It gets lonely.” My heart raced. I felt a knot form in my stomach as I hinted at the possibility of something between us. But he acted like he didn’t understand me. He was too savvy for that, too controlled. Instead, he smiled, shifting the conversation as if my words had meant nothing. But I couldn’t give up. “The women in the congregation ... they find you attractive,” I said, my voice barely a whisper, testing him. He raised an eyebrow, amused, but something was calculating in his expression. “Do they now?”

That’s how it started. It was my suggestion and he ran with it. I began arranging dates for him introducing him to women from the congregation, women who hung on his every word like I had. At first, it felt like I was helping him. He was busy and lonely and they adored him. But deep down, I knew what I was really doing. I was hoping that maybe, by proving my loyalty, he would finally see me as more than just his secretary, more than just another face in the church. I wanted him to choose me.

But he never did. Week after week and year after year. I watched him have these women, charm them, have sex with them and then toss them aside like they meant nothing. And every time, they came back to me, broken and desperate. They thought that maybe if they talked to me, I could help them get back into his life. They saw me as the gatekeeper, the one with his ear. But no matter how much they begged, how much they cried, Moses never took any of them back. He was done with them as soon as he got what he wanted.

At first, I felt bad for them. They were just like me falling for the same charisma, the same charm that had sucked me in. But over time, the guilt faded. It was replaced by something else, something cynical. I started to see these women differently. They weren’t victims, not really. They were just as complicit as I was, chasing after something they couldn’t or shouldn’t have. As I spent more time with them, I realized I could get something out of it too. Being bisexual, I started to find myself attracted to their vulnerability and their neediness. So when they came to me, looking for comfort, looking for a way back to Moses, I took them to bed instead.

I told myself it wasn’t wrong. They were using me just as much as I was using them. Besides, Moses didn’t want them anymore, so why shouldn’t I enjoy myself? I knew it wouldn’t fix anything for them, but that wasn’t my concern. They came to me for help and I gave them what I could. And in those moments, when they were in my arms, I felt like I had become a little closer to my heart’s desire for Moses, even if it was by proxy.

But each time, after they left, I felt that connection slip away. Moses still had me wrapped around his wrist, no matter how much I wanted to believe otherwise. I knew he’d never want me, not the way I wanted him and that thought clawed at me. Still, I couldn’t stop. I kept hoping that one day, he’d finally see me. But for now, all I could do was wait, watching as he used those women and let me pick up the pieces, knowing I was just as complicit as they were.

The morning sun filtered through the high windows of the Stoneclaw mansion’s dining room, casting a soft light on the immaculate marble floors. Vivian Stoneclaw, an elegant tiger woman with striking golden eyes, sat at the long breakfast table, her perfectly manicured hands cradling a delicate porcelain coffee cup. Across from her, Bartholomew Stoneclaw, her husband, a tiger just like her but ten years older, scrolled through his phone, barely glancing up as he spoke. The clinking of silverware on fine china was the only other sound, creating a rhythm she’d grown accustomed to over the years.

“Business is picking up,” Bartholomew said, not looking at her as he sliced into his eggs. His voice was calm and confident. “If we secure the next deal, the company will dominate the eastern holographic chip market.”He paused, still fixated on his state-of-the-art phone, scrolling through emails, his brow furrowing in concentration. “It’s going to take some late nights and long meetings, but it’s worth it. You understand.”

Vivian offered a small nod, her lips curving into a practiced smile. She didn’t need to give much more than that. Bartholomew had long stopped expecting real conversations. In fact, he rarely noticed her at all beyond her appearance and as long as she kept up the look of the perfect wife groomed and poised, he shouldn’t have any complaints. Her mind wandered from his words. She could already predict his next move: he’d be out late again, wrapped in some “business” that involved more than just deals and meetings. He was always careful not to flaunt his infidelities, but she knew.

Her thoughts drifted to Moses Lightfur’s church. The sermons and the sense of belonging they provided, had filled a gap she hadn’t realized existed in her life. But it wasn’t just the spiritual connection that intrigued her; it was Moses himself. The fox had a charisma that drew her in. His amber eyes burned with intensity whenever he spoke and though she told herself her attraction was about faith, there was something undeniably magnetic about him.

“I’ll probably be home late tonight,” Bartholomew continued, still absorbed in his world. “We’re wrapping up some important contracts and I might have to entertain some clients afterward.”

Vivian’s grip tightened slightly on her coffee cup, but her face remained serene. Entertain clients. The words made her stomach churn with a familiar mix of resentment and resignation. She knew exactly what he meant. “Of course,” she replied, her tone light, but with an edge she couldn’t quite hide. “I’ll make sure not to wait up for you. Those important meetings must be exhausting.”

Bartholomew either didn’t notice or didn’t care to acknowledge the sarcasm. “They are,” he muttered, standing and adjusting his harness. He smoothed down his fur and gave a brief glance at his reflection in the large mirror hanging on the wall near the door. “You enjoy your day.”With that, he was gone, leaving her alone in the vast, silent room.

As the door closed, Vivian allowed the practiced smile to fade from her lips. She pushed her untouched plate away, feeling the emptiness of her situation settle over her once more. The lavish life, the mansion, the endless shopping sprees none of it filled the void inside her. Bartholomew hadn’t touched her sexually in a year and even when he had, it had felt mechanical, as if she were just another part of his perfectly orchestrated life.

Needing to clear her mind, Vivian made her way to the spa room. The room smelled faintly of eucalyptus and lavender, the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Waiting for her was Claude, her usual masseur. The large bear greeted her with a warm smile, his deep brown eyes soft and reassuring. “Ready for your massage, Mrs. Stoneclaw?” he asked, his voice low and soothing. Vivian simply nodded as she slipped out of her silk robe and laid herself down on the plush massage table.

Claude’s strong hands began to knead into the muscles of her shoulders, easing the tension that had settled there. Vivian let out a soft sigh, her mind beginning to drift. The rhythmic motion of his hands working their way down her back sent a calming warmth through her body. She closed her eyes, focusing on the feeling of relaxing muscles.

But as Claude’s hands moved lower, tracing the curve of her waist and hips, her thoughts wandered back to Moses. She imagined herself in the sanctuary again, watching him preach, the sound of his deep voice reverberating through her. It wasn’t just the message he delivered; it was the way his eyes locked with hers from across the room, the way he seemed to speak to her soul. Vivian told herself it was spiritual, that it was about filling the emptiness inside. But even now, as Claude’s hand pressed firmly into her lower back, she couldn’t deny the way her heart raced at the thought of Moses.

Claude’s hands shifted to her thighs, his touch firm but gentle and Vivian’s breath caught in her throat. She felt a slow heat building inside her and it wasn’t from the massage alone. Her thoughts of Moses deepened, her mind slipping into a fantasy where his touch replaced Claude’s. She imagined his hands on her body, his amber eyes looking down at her with desire. A shiver ran down her spine and her tail twitched involuntarily.

“Is the pressure okay, Mrs. Stoneclaw?” Claude’s voice pulled her back for a moment and she cleared her throat, trying to steady herself. “Yes, it’s fine,” she murmured, though the tension in her voice betrayed her calm exterior.

Her thoughts refused to leave Moses. The more Claude worked on her body, the more vivid her fantasies became. She imagined herself standing before Moses after one of his sermons, his gaze lingering on her with desire. The thought of his strong arms around her, holding her close, made her heart pound faster. She shifted slightly on the table, trying to suppress the growing arousal, but it was no use.

As Claude’s hands massaged down to her calves, Vivian bit her lip, her fantasies spiraling out of control. She imagined Moses’s hands on her, exploring every inch of her body. The massage blurred with the image of him pulling her close, whispering words of comfort or perhaps something more intimate into her ear. At that moment, she wanted it, wanted him.

“All done, Mrs. Stoneclaw.”Claude’s voice snapped her back to reality and she blinked, realizing that the massage had ended. She felt a flush of arousal rise to the inside of her ears as she thanked him and stood up, wrapping her robe back around her body. But even as she left the room, the thoughts of Moses lingered, the fantasy as real as ever.
