The following morning, Vivian arrived at L&B Interior Studio earlier than usual.

The exhibition was only three weeks away, and every department was working against the clock.

She had barely settled into her desk when Lena walked over.

“Conference room. Five minutes.”

Vivian looked up.

“Is something wrong?”

Lena smiled.

“If it were, I wouldn’t be smiling.”

Curious, Vivian gathered her notebook and followed.

Inside the conference room, several unfamiliar faces were already seated.

Two men and a woman, all dressed in tailored business suits.

Lena stood at the front.

“Everyone, this is Vivian Hart, the lead designer behind the Royal Horizon Hotel project.”

One of the visitors stood and extended his hand.

“It’s a pleasure to finally meet you, Miss Hart.”

“I’m Victor Lawson, Director of Horizon Developments.”

Vivian shook his hand politely.

“It’s nice to meet you.”

Victor smiled.

“We’ve been studying your hotel design.”

“The board was impressed.”

Vivian blinked in surprise.

“Thank you.”

“We’re planning a luxury residential project next year.”

“We’d like L&B to submit a proposal.”

Chris nearly dropped his pen.

Another major project?

Already?

Lena remained calm, though the excitement in her eyes was impossible to hide.

“We’d be honored.”

Victor nodded.

“I have one request.”

He looked directly at Vivian.

“If possible...”

“I’d like Miss Hart to lead the design.”

The room fell silent.

Vivian’s fingers tightened slightly around her notebook.

She had only returned to work a few months ago.

Now companies were requesting her by name.

Across the city...

Kingsley Group Headquarters.

Adrian had just finished reviewing financial reports when Ethan knocked.

“Sir.”

“The exhibition committee sent the guest list.”

Adrian accepted the folder absentmindedly.

Kingsley Group sponsored dozens of events every year.

He rarely paid attention to them.

Until one name caught his eye.

Featured Designer: Vivian Hart.

His brows lifted almost imperceptibly.

“She’s speaking?”

Ethan nodded.

“The hotel project will be the exhibition’s main attraction.”

“They’ve invited several investors.”

Adrian closed the folder.

“What day is it?”

“Saturday evening.”

He looked at the calendar.

His schedule was already packed.

“ ... Cancel my dinner meeting.”

Ethan looked surprised.

“The dinner with the Osaka delegation?”

“Move it.”

“I’ll attend the exhibition.”

For the first time...

Adrian was rearranging his schedule...

Not for business.

But because of Vivian.

That afternoon...

Vivian and Lena walked through the exhibition hall where the event would be held.

Workers were still assembling display walls and lighting.

Lena handed Vivian a floor plan.

“Your presentation will be here.”

Vivian looked around.

The venue was enormous.

“I’ve never spoken in front of this many people.”

“You’ll do fine.”

“What if I freeze?”

“You won’t.”

“And if I do?”

Lena laughed.

“I’ll pretend it was part of the presentation.”

Vivian couldn’t help smiling.

The nervousness remained.

But so did her determination.

She wanted to prove she belonged here.

Not because she was someone’s wife.

Because she had earned it.

As she looked around the hall...

She had no idea Adrian had already decided to be there.

Not out of obligation.

Not because anyone asked him.

But because, for the first time...

He wanted to see Vivian’s world with his own eyes.

The exhibition hall buzzed with activity as workers adjusted lights, assembled display panels, and tested sound equipment.
