Damien walked out of the conference room and found Aurora waiting outside with the documents he needed.
“Everything went well?” she asked.
“It did.”

Aurora nodded.
“I’ll be there.”
Ten minutes later...
Aurora climbed into Damien’s car.
“Where are we going?” she asked.
“It’s a surprise.”
He drove through the city until they arrived at a quiet rooftop restaurant overlooking the skyline.
Aurora gasped.
“It’s beautiful.”
“I hoped you’d like it.”
He pulled out her chair before taking his own seat.
