The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the apartment.

“You’re feeding me?”
Damien raised an eyebrow.

She laughed and accepted the bite.
“It’s delicious.”
“I watched three cooking videos before making breakfast.”
She couldn’t stop laughing.
“The CEO of Carter Group watched cooking tutorials?”
“For you? Absolutely.”
Aurora reached for his hand and squeezed it gently.
“Thank you.”
He smiled.
“Anything for you.”
After breakfast, Damien collected the dishes and returned with a small shopping bag.
