A week had passed since Damien and Aurora’s visit to the botanical garden.

Nearly an hour later, they arrived at a quiet beach resort.

Tiny fairy lights decorated a wooden pathway leading toward the beach.
Aurora stopped walking.
“Damien...”
“This is beautiful.”
He smiled.
“Come with me.”
Hand in hand, they walked toward the shoreline.
A table for two had been prepared with candles and fresh white roses.
They enjoyed a peaceful dinner while listening to the sound of the waves.
Aurora couldn’t stop smiling.

She reached across the table and held his hand.
