“Y’all have a choice to make for this late afternoon and early evening. First choice, the ship cruises over to tour Barbuda and the crew will produce a picnic barbecue on Princess Diana beach. It will be an incredibly secluded and beautiful location. Because of last year’s hurricane damage, you should see no one. However, nudity in public can still get you into trouble ... this is a conservative country. But you can come back to the ship for any sex games.

“Second option is to hang around Antigua, go to an upscale restaurant and do the club thing again.” I finished.

We were all sitting outside on a lower deck, still docked in Falmouth Harbour, the twins and I joining all the rest as they returned from shopping and lunch. The temperature was in the low seventies with a light breeze.

“What’s your vote, Z?” John asked.

“I don’t get a vote; I’ll be gone until the next morning.”

Lisa began, “I vote Bar...”

I interrupted, “You don’t get a vote.”

“Why not?”

“You’re with me until tomorrow.”

“What? I didn’t know that. Who else is going with us?”

“It was supposed to be a surprise ... and just the two of us.”

Lisa smiled brightly and did an enthusiastic fist pump while saying, “Yes!”

I grinned and said, “Glad you approve. So, for everyone else, please decide and let me know. I’ll need to book a helicopter if you guys are staying here.”

They voted for Barbuda. Unanimously. Cruising around a beautiful, almost uninhabited tropical island or a club scene redux? Take the cruise!

Bikinis and board shorts were the uniform of the day ... again. My eyes stayed on Lisa, mostly. It was all about her today. We cuddled and lounged on the lower stern deck as my Siblings teased approvingly.

Pulling out of the harbor, we began the brief hour and a half trip. The sea became surprisingly rough as we wrapped around the southern tip of Antigua and headed towards Barbuda on the open sea. A fun trip, best experienced with the stability of our massive yacht.

As we approached the northwest side of Barbuda, two crew members took Lisa and me on a tender into where the Barbuda Belle hotel had stood. Hurricane Irma of September 2017 wiped almost everything out last fall. Fortunately, they had evacuated the island. Now, they rushed to reopen in October, but were taking us in special.

It really wasn’t a hotel in the normal sense, but was, and will be again, a series of one and two bedroom private beachfront bungalows. They had one unit complete, running entirely on solar panels. Did I get special treatment because of our large donations? Sure. But I also asked nicely.

This overnight trip was important to Lisa ... and to me. The first private evening and night we had since the Ritz-Carlton in Portland. This would be much more primitive, but hey, I had first met her on a high ropes course in the woods. If any of my Siblings would be happy camping, it was Lisa.

The owners of the resort had a two row gas powered golf cart waiting for us on the beach. Lisa and I loaded up our overnight bags and two coolers containing our drinks and food for the day. There was no restaurant rebuilt yet, and no one waiting to help us. Which was just the way we wanted it. We certainly didn’t want anyone waiting on us and interrupting the rebuild.

Lisa was a little sweaty, but couldn’t stop smiling. When we opened the door to the bungalow, she oohed and awed. Wood and white were the theme. Dark wood, light wood, and comfy white furniture and a canopy bed with white curtains. A little kitchen, a big rustic deck, and then Lisa found the shower. And it worked!

We were naked and in the shower within minutes. Thankfully, we brought our own body wash and shampoo. Lisa offered a blow job, but I steered us to toweling off and jumping into bed.

Gentle, unhurried lovemaking. For much of the afternoon, we lost ourselves in each other. I streamed music from my iPhone to a small bluetooth speaker. Sam Hunt’s music seemed appropriate; his single that had been released a few months ago was even more appropriate... Body Like a Backroad.

Body like a back road, drivin’ with my eyes closed

I know every curve like the back of my hand

Doin’ 15 in a 30, I ain’t in no hurry

I’ma take it slow just as fast as I can

When we awoke from a sexual exhaustion nap, I put board shorts on. Lisa put on a blue string bikini, and we lounged on the deck watching the birds play and squabble. We knew there was construction work active, yet we couldn’t see or hear it. Only birds and water.

The temperature was in the mid eighties, but a retractable canopy provided shade, and we had a breeze that kept it comfortable even as our bodies overlapped on the two person lounger. “Thank you Z, this is so beautiful and peaceful.”

“Simple pleasures, we needed this.”

“Yes, we do.”

After about ten minutes of silence, Lisa asked, “I wonder what everyone is doing.”

I laughed, “We get away from the horde, and you ask about them! Glad it was you; I was thinking it myself.”

Lisa stuck her tongue out and said, “It’s only natural; our lives revolve around others.”

“Yep, and in a week you will swim in sorority and Sibling drama.”

Lisa chuckled, “What do you mean? I have that drama here! By the way, what are you going to do with keli?”

I groaned, “The woman I spent only a few hours with the other night?”

“Come on, Z, look how fast Addy was ... and for that matter, with most every one of your Siblings.”

“Addy was different, you know that.”

“Maybe keli will be too; nothing seems to happen by chance with you, Z.”

“Well, look ... Penny is not mine, and Hanna is gone.”

“Hanna might be back, and Penny ... she is sooo ... yours.”

“I love Penny, everyone loves her, but it just might never happen. She has med school, the internship. A lot can change in that many years. I will not push.”

Lisa nods, “Fair. Maybe. Meanwhile ... keli?”

“Oh, she wants to be first to move into the ranch. She really wants to get out of the dorm. I told her to talk to you.”

“What’s the rush?”

“The dorms are hot and crowded, and she misses her horse.”

“How would her living at the ranch help with ... oh!”

“Let’s check with my mom about occupancy. We saw two apartments finished, and I think the stables are done. Unless ... she is going to be crested soon?”

I love tapped Lisa’s shoulder and sighed. “We had fun, but ... oh hey, has she done her Brother tour?”

“Yes, she has.”

“Hmm, so I would not be robbing another from indoctrination...”

“Like Maggie, Molly ... and Addy.” Lisa teased. She knew there were good reasons.

“Rumor has it you want to ‘decorate’ Keli’s body?

“Doris Alex blabbed!”

“How do you know it wasn’t keli? I think she would be all in favor.”

“It was just a fantasy in the moment!” I protested.

“Sure, sure, you want to.”

“Hmm, want rings too?” I grinned.

“I’m already yours, and marked.”

“Indeed you are.”

“Do you have any idea as to the sorority trouble you have brought me?”

“Me, how?”

“Yeah, the hot young Brother coming to Eugene, the ranch resort, and now the new sorority house. There are going to be a lot of women upset they can’t get in.”

“Word of the new house has leaked, eh?”

“It’s about to. My mom found four contiguous lots in the Fairmount Neighborhood. Four lots! She dangled enough money out there to make it happen. The land will cost more than the house costs to build.”

“It’s going to be an enormous house, and Teresa told me it is the ultra safe place ... and right next to campus.”

“Oh, it will be. No sleeping porches, mostly singles, with just a few doubles. Every girl, Sibling or non-Sibling is going to want to join. We can take only so many. We might not take any non-Sibling.”

“That’s a good thing, tho right?”

“Yeah, but lots of nice girls that would have gotten in before won’t get in. Even if they are a legacy. Hell! We might not get all the Siblings in. We are a magnet now.”

“Will Maggie and Molly have a problem getting in?”

“Of course not! They’ll get the first two spots! Actually, I might have a surprise for them in a few days. There is a chance we can get them pledged for Spring ... but don’t you dare tell them! For the normal fall rush, the Panhellenic council decides how many spots we get, so every sorority fills up.”

Lisa and I cracked open the cooler. The ship’s chef had made us seafood subs nicely wrapped in plastic. Paired with it was a bottle of white wine. I laughed when I picked up the bottle, “Idiot’s Grace Chenin Blanc from Oregon. How in the world did that bottle make it all the way here?”

I removed the foil, exposing the cork. Lisa dug in the cooler, then asked, “How are we getting the bottle open without a corkscrew?”

“Oh, I got this. I saw a pen on the counter.”

Lisa looked at me curiously as I took the bottle to the counter and pushed down with the pen on top of the cork. It took a minute, but I pushed the cork into the bottle. “Glasses?” I asked.

Lisa smiled, “Nope, we sure are roughing it today, but we’ll survive.”

We sat on the deck lounger facing each other, our knees spread wide. A lobster sub, a shrimp sub, and a bottle of wine sitting on our impromptu lounger table. Wolfing down our food and wine, giggling at our classy setup.

As we ate and talked, I asked, “Lisa, what do you want to be when you grow up?”

“A rodeo clown, ooh, or a dancer on the midway.”

“Well, we can’t all be cowboys.”

Lisa’s eyes sparkled. “You got the reference!”

“How could I not? A great song on a great album ... even if it is older than I am. But seriously, you graduate in thirteen months. Still planning on grad school?”

Lisa swallowed the bite of sandwich, then took a swig of wine. “A lot has changed since I told you that. Billions of dollars make me wonder ... what’s the point?”

“Of course. None of us need ever work again. In my mind, I had thought you might run the ranch after graduation, while the twins are still in school.”

“I’ve given that some thought. Let me ask you, do you see the ranch as a long-term thing? I mean, I know you do. But you don’t see it as the endgame, do you?”

“I see the new sorority house and the ranch being huge for many years to come for the Brotherhood.” I said.

“As a grand experiment for the Society?”

“More than that. The Brotherhood needs to change. Actual community building instead of these isolated pods of Brothers. The world is a dangerous place and getting worse. We may need to come together as a Society soon. A fragmented Brotherhood won’t be an advantage if the world goes to hell.”

“So the ranch will be a first step? Do you see us as raising kids here?”

“I see us as living elsewhere after the twins graduate. Visiting, sure, but living elsewhere. Hell, I am not a US citizen. I can stay for the next several years with my Antigua gig, but to maintain my non-resident alien status, eventually, I can only be in the US a hundred and twenty days a year. And the twins and Addy are not citizens, nor is Doris Alex.”

“The twins aren’t?”

“They were born in Australia, adopted, and have not become US citizens. They are now officially Antiguan with student visas.”

“So you see yourself turning the ranch over to another Brother to run?”

“Well, that was the thought.” I replied.

“How about an alternative? My mom and I recruit older Siblings to run the ranch. So we can trust them with our ... extracurricular activities. There are a few still in the area. I bet we can get Siblings to move here too for well-paid positions ... a resort manager, other managers ... hmm ... safety, stables, Starbucks pizza, sorority and community relations ... ohh ... and a golf pro for starters. These would be long-term employees who could maintain and build the community for Brothers and Siblings. Then, we’d just visit many times a year.”

“Outstanding idea! I love it! But a couple of questions ... Starbucks pizza? And a golf pro for our nine holes?”

Lisa laughed, “You need to spend time with my mom soon. She expanded our Starbucks to make fresh pizza and sandwiches and pasta. And remember all that extra land that was closed on recently? She expanded the golf course to eighteen holes.”

“Serves me right ... not being up to speed. Teresa is doing just what I asked. Also, Teresa and I will spend a lot of time together when y’all are back at school. We have more real estate to look at. Including what might be our escape if the world goes to hell ... our own island in the southern hemisphere.”

“Is it another tropical island?”

“Although this place is further south and not tropical, it is vast enough to accommodate all the Brothers, Siblings, and families easily.”

Lisa got up and tossed the wine bottle and sub wrappings away, then came back to me, pushed me backwards in the lounger and cuddled in. “Your original questions ... I want to be wherever you are, and have our baby in the next couple of years.”

“Aww, I want that too, babe.”

We were in the golden hour when Lisa observed, “Hmm, no insects and we are closing in on dusk.” Only a few clouds on the horizon that should help create a fabulous sunset. Lisa had retracted the canopy, and we faced south. Directly above us, the sky was clear, and no moon tonight. My plan was coming together perfectly.

“They fogged the area here earlier, so we should be good. We couldn’t have sandflies and mosquitos ruining our evening.”

I continued on, “I meant to tell you, the first taste of money is funding your new accounts tomorrow. You’ll get a welcome package delivered overnight that will be waiting for you back at our island. And messages on your iPhone, when we have service again tomorrow as we go back to Antigua ... no cell phone towers are up here yet. Initial funding of ten million dollars.”

“Ten million!” she looked at me and smiled.

“I realize it isn’t much, but I prefer to wait until the end of the year before transferring larger sums because our money is currently invested to generate more income. Still, I will move whatever you wish.”

“Oh, no, ten million is incredible. What would I spend more than a few thousand on? And I know funds have to be short ... we may buy a ship ... or put money down on it.”

I laughed, “Actually, we’ll borrow the money for the ship if we buy it ... and an extra jet.”

“Why? That sounds scary that we are borrowing.”

“Not scary at all; we are building an empire that is indestructible now. It’s a simple decision; we get a four percent interest rate, and we will double or triple our money on every dollar we have in crypto plays for the next eight months.”

Lisa sighed. “This continues to baffle me. How much is enough? How many billions do we need?”

“We need to keep building. Not for us, but for the Society, Oregon, Antigua, and others. And remember, I was just mentioning a private island we may build into a small, remote city.”

“Oh, and an extra jet? You’re planning on a lot of Siblings?”

“And a Brother or three.”

“Another jet like the one we have?”

“Yeah, another Gulfstream. I looked at a Boeing business jet, but the G650 is faster and cruises at a much higher altitude, so we fly above commercial traffic and can land at smaller airports. And better flexibility; sometimes we’d just take one jet or take them to two different locations. When not in use, we can let the Brotherhood’s company use them.”

“Okay, the question I, as a woman, will ask ... what color?”

I laughed, “Molly put together nice, understated color accents based on the flag of Antigua and Barbuda. When I have my economic development hat on, I’ll fly potential investors in using it.”

“You are taking your part-time job for Antigua seriously.”

“Yes, I’m going to blow their minds. I’m already ahead of the game with a very wealthy group of Brothers. Worst case, we’ll use our own money for most investments.”

“How can all of this be possible? I understand your inheritance, yet how can Maggie be so infallible with crypto?”

“And Molly, and not just crypto, they are slowly diversifying into startups.” I corrected.

“Why not big companies?”

“Maggie and Molly say 2018 will suck for most stock investments. But 2019 will be great, while 2020 will have a crash and then recovery. We’ll make money with every move ... going up, down, then up.”

“How can they be so certain? How can you be so certain they will be right?”

“I insist we hedge so we don’t lose enormous amounts, even if it all goes to hell. But let’s back up. Well, back way up for a few minutes. How much do you know about Sibling Bloodlines?”

“You know I was indoctrinated, so yeah, I know about their abilities. And now a lot deeper experience with the twins, and Doris Alex ... well ... and Gwen ... and Addy ... and damn, you too. Shit, my mom and I are your only crested Siblings that are not Bloodline.”

“We’ll need to talk about your mom too. She is gaining Bloodline abilities.”

“From the twins’ DNA?”

“Yeah, you might not fully realize how ... intense she is getting working on our real estate projects.”

“Shit, I feel like the biggest loser. What do I contribute?”

“Oh, babe, you are incredibly important, which I am getting to.”

“First, back to the Bloodlines. How much do you know about their history?”

“The usual ... began later than the Brotherhood, but still well over a thousand years ago with the ten original Siblings that pledged to the Brotherhood. Hmm, though now it was at least eleven with the Gwendolen line.”

“And the breeding?”

“Controversial within the Society, because it is eugenics, but each Bloodline has developed abilities ... loyalty, beauty, intelligence, and pheromones, and other more recent stronger abilities like our crazy twins.”

I nodded and spoke. “So, I just accepted all this when I was told ... but now ... I call utter bullshit!”

“What? How so?”
