Chapter 12
Thriller Sex Story: Chapter 12 - Everett Dickinson, aka The Carver, could see numerous possibilities in being interviewed by a young psych student. To the serial killer’s delight not only does it turn out to be a she, but she is actually the warden's daughter. Aware as he is that some members of the fairer sex are drawn to men like himself, the idea that he might seduce her is too delicious for words. Who knows, she might even prove useful in his plans to escape.

Mr. Steele, the youngest of six brothers, scrutinized the map that covered the dining table with an eagle-eyed attentiveness. Section by section, he examined it. The map itself was from a satellite photograph. He was searching for something constructed more than half a century in the past.
“You know,” he began and took a moment to rub his eyes to alleviate the strain, “after I hung up with you, I received a call with an area code belonging to the same location the supermax is in.”
The warden felt a sinking in his gut: If he knew about the connection, it was only natural that incident command knew as well. Now it would be a race to see who found the lodging first. Jovis patted Mr. Steele on the shoulder, “You really are the only authority on all things Jax Lazlo, huh?”
Mr. Steele smiled, “Well, he has two cabins in this district. One here by Carter’s Ridge.” He pointed, having finally found the right spot, as made evident by a clearing. “That’s the newer one where he had his wedding. The other, well, that’s trickier. The vegetation will be more mature, but I’m fairly certain it’s over by Atlas Marsh.”
“That’s it!” The warden interjected quickly, “That’s where he’ll be. He’s a fucking Lazlo. Jester had a thing for lakes and marshes. Little brother would follow big brother’s lead, I’m sure of it!” He was now taking a closer look at the area of Atlas Marsh. It would be just like Everett to take his daughter to that place, like the older Lazlo had dumped the warden’s sister at a lake.
“When we find the right cabin, we’ll have to tell incident command about the one by Carter’s Ridge ... too,” Jovis said; she knew how important this was to the warden, “But I’m staying with you, Gil. Always have your partner’s back.”
The warden gave her a weary smile, but he had no intention of taking her along. Once he found Everett, he would finish this battle on his own. Man to man.
The new mother heaved, struggling to catch her breath as she held her newborn baby girl in her arms for the first time. Tears welled up in her eyes, and those of her loving husband.
“She’s amazing. You’re amazing. I never imagined this is what it felt like...” The overwhelming emotion of seeing his daughter for the first time was choking up the man who would become Warden Gillock.
The infant began to softly coo and stir in her swaddling. Her mother shifted in the bed and began to push the small pink bundle towards the new father.
“Are you okay? Is she okay?” There was an undertone of panic in his voice as he took the baby into a trembling hold.
Anastasia, the proud, if exhausted, new mother, chuckled at her husband’s nervousness. “We’re fine, I’m just tired, I don’t want to drop her.”
“Neither do I!”
“Please, just hold her. You’ll be fine, Daddy.”
“Do I have to go to school? I wanna go to work with Daddy!” It was Mandy’s first day of school, and she wasn’t exactly excited about it.
Anastasia patted the young girl on the head, while the now ‘Detective’ Gillock fussed with her uniform buttons, “You need to go to school. You’ll meet friends there, maybe even your future husband.”
“But I wanna marry you, Daddy!”
“You can’t marry him, I’m married to Daddy.”
Mandy crossed her arms and pouted, “Not fair.”
Senior detective Gillock stood and applauded his daughter with pride as she walked across the stage to accept her high school diploma with honors. It had been a rough year for her, from breaking up with her high school sweetheart, getting her first real job, and working long hours to afford her first car, to watching her mother’s health slowly decline. This moment was hard-earned and would always be a highlight in the warden’s life.
Don’t you worry, baby girl. Daddy will get you back, and I’ll always protect you.
“There it is!” Mr. Steele jabbed a finger at a point by Atlas Marsh on the map. It was barely noticeable, but there was the corner of a metal roof, unmistakable, pointing out from behind a heavily wooded area.
Jovis and the warden pushed their way to take a look. It was difficult to see, but then they too found it. The warden grabbed a piece of paper and marked the location. It was about a mile or so closer to the city than the cabin at Carter’s Ridge.
“Jest my boy,” Jovis began with a hand on Mr. Steele’s shoulder, “You go and alert incident command about the Carter’s Ridge location. Wait about half an hour and then ‘find’ the second cabin.”
Mr. Steele nodded. He grabbed his coat and car keys and headed to the supermax, map in hand. It shouldn’t be too difficult for him to get in; he was on an approved list, as well as having the Steele name backing him, and he had information pertinent to the ongoing incident. The only thing to slow him down would be the roadblocks.
After Mr. Steele left, Jovis directed the warden to her bedroom. There wasn’t much there, just a small futon mattress on the floor, and a portrait of a large reptile that the warden didn’t recognize. It wasn’t the room that she brought him there for. It was the contents of her closet.
The warden let out a low whistle when he saw all the weaponry Jovis had stockpiled. Blades, staffs, chained weaponry, and a few different archery devices. What was most impressive was the gun collection. Everything was well secured, too, and Jovis had the keys on a necklace she wore at all times. The collection had taken her many years to put together, and most of her savings as well. It was all worth it.
“Take your pick, Gil,” she said with a grin. It had been a long time since she had used anything from the collection. Maintaining it had become her form of meditation; every one of these instruments of combat was as ready as if it were brand new.
“Have I told you lately how much I adore you?” The warden reverently stepped into the space and admired the weapons. He’d only need one, though. Originally, he was just going to use his standard-issued SIG, but that Glock 19 looked mighty nice.
Mandy lifted herself to a sitting position on the bed. Had she really lost consciousness again? She was going to have to work on her endurance. Everett was so much more than anything she had encountered previously. There was a disparagingly obvious difference in the amount of experience the two had; she almost felt embarrassed at how little she knew about the act, and equally how little skill she had. Almost. “I love you.” the memory of his voice echoed in her mind, and she squealed in delight.
A sudden crash followed by a string of cursing pulled her out of her euphoria. Before she left the room to find out what was going on, she looked around for some clothing. She had thrown the outfit she arrived in into the laundry pile, and her only other clothes had been literally ripped off.
Mandy explored the room more; there was an armoire back in the far corner she hadn’t seen earlier. She opened it to see old clothing hanging up within, and a few old shoes, both men’s and women’s. Vintage. Nice, these must belong to his grandparents. He did say it was his grandfather’s cabin originally. The classic, forest green romper looked like it would fit her. She proceeded to don the vintage attire, taking a moment to admire herself in the outfit. It was a little snug around her hips and chest, but otherwise fit well. Another curse from elsewhere in the cabin was heard.
She made her way to the source of the sounds to see Everett, fanning a smoking saucepan with a pot holder. She giggled as she watched him struggling with whatever it was he had just burned.
