Miguel leaned his shoulder against the rusted chain-link fence, his thumbs hooked aggressively into the front pockets of his pants. He didn’t care about the sweat staining the collar of his shirt; his eyes were locked on the curb thirty feet away.
“Look at her,” Diego muttered, his voice dropping into that breathless, pathetic register that always made Miguel want to punch him in the ribs. Diego was practically vibrating, his fingers nervously plucking at the strap of his JanSport backpack. “Sofia changed her hair today. Parted it on the side. It looks like ... I don’t know, man. Like a movie star.”
“Callate, Diego,” Miguel snapped, not breaking his stare. “Shut the fuck up. Stop being so pathetic man! Learn to be a real man. Women appreciate a man who shows machismo.”
“Verdad? Then why doesn’t Layla give you the time of the day then?”
Miguel could only growl threateningly at Diego.
Layla and Sofia were standing near the fire hydrant, completely ignoring the chaotic swarm of students pouring out of the school gates. They barely acknowledged the admiring glances they got from the other students. This was a normal thing for them after all. They were in their own world, huddled close, whispering. Layla kept shifting her weight, checking a watch that looked way too expensive for high school. They were close enough that Miguel could smell the faint, addictive scent of their perfume, but they might as well have been behind bulletproof glass. Whenever Miguel tried to catch Layla’s eye, she looked right through him, her expression as blank as a wall.
“Oye! Layla!” Miguel called out, tossing his head back as he walked toward them. He kept his stride heavy, deliberate. Diego scrambled to keep up, trailing half a step behind like a stray dog hoping for a scrap.
Layla’s eyes flicked up for a fraction of a second before returning to the street. Sofia didn’t even blink.
“I asked you a question yesterday, Layla,” Miguel said, stopping just a couple of feet away, stepping directly into her line of sight. He let his voice carry that sharp, territorial edge. “Who’s the guy who picks you up? Every single day. That ain’t Enzo. Your old driver get fired for letting you sneak out, or what?”
Layla finally sighed, a slow, deeply bored sound. She didn’t look at him. “It’s none of your business, Miguel.”
“I’m making it my business,” Miguel said, stepping closer. He could see the slight curve of her neckline, the way her golden tresses caught the afternoon glare. It drove him crazy how easily she dismissed him. “Because whoever it is looks like a total joke. I saw that guy driving you around last week. What’s his deal? Your dad’s really letting some low-rent nobody drive you around the city?”
Diego winced, though his eyes remained desperately glued to Sofia. “Hermano, maybe don’t...”
He never finished the sentence because to everybody’s astonishment Sofia snapped. She stood up straight, her face flushing a sudden, dangerous crimson.
“Shut your pathetic fucking mouth, Miguel!” Sofia barked, her voice cutting through the ambient noise of shouting teenagers and revving engines. She stepped right into Miguel’s face, her eyes flashing with pure malice. “You don’t know a damn thing about him, or us, or anything else! You’re just a tiny, bitter little boy who can’t stand the fact that nobody looks at you anymore. He has more class in his little finger than your entire genetic line, you disgusting loser!”
“Cuidado Sofia. Don’t you know who I am? Don’t you know who my father is?”
“Oh ... pobrecito. He doesn’t know who he is. He doesn’t even know who his father is.”
“You know that’s not what I meant. I am an Agurcia.”
“Ooh ... he finally figured out who he is. Congratulations bobo.”
Miguel froze, his jaw tightening so hard a muscle jumped in his cheek. He wasn’t used to girls talking to him like this. Especially not Sofia, who usually just rolled her eyes.
Diego’s mouth fell completely open. He stood there, paralyzed, looking between Sofia and Miguel like a spectator watching a car crash, utterly incapable of defending his friend or comforting the girl he spent every night dreaming about. “Sofia ... hey, come on, let’s...” he stammered, his voice cracking slightly.
Sofia looked like she was about to throw a punch. Her chest was heaving, her knuckles white.
“Sofia, stop. He’s literally not worth the breath,” Layla said sharply. She grabbed Sofia by the upper arm, her grip firm, physically hauling her back a step before the scene could turn into a full-blown riot. “Don’t give him the satisfaction.”
“You’re going to regret talking to me like that, Sofia!”
“Miguel ... Sofia doesn’t think about you enough to regret anything. So why don’t you and Diego get lost and give us some space?”
Before Miguel could find his voice to fire back, a low, heavy purr rumbled from the street.
A pristine, midnight-black Pajero pulled up to the curb, its tinted windows gleaming like obsidian under the harsh sun.
The moment the tires kissed the concrete, Layla and Sofia didn’t just walk. They broke into a dead sprint. It was completely undignified, the kind of frantic running people did when their lives depended on catching the last flight out of a war zone.
“What the hell?” Miguel muttered, his anger momentarily giving way to sheer bewilderment.
“Sofia, wait!” Diego called out weakly, taking a useless half-step forward as the dust kicked up from their sneakers.
The passenger side window of the Pajero rolled down smoothly. Both boys gasped.
Sitting in the front passenger seat was Daniela, looking impossibly cool, her sunglasses pushed up into her hair. And behind the wheel was the mystery man. He was undeniably handsome, possessing the kind of effortless, structured jawline and calm demeanor that made Miguel feel suddenly, painfully aware of his own shortcomings.
Layla and Sofia practically threw themselves into the backseat, the doors slamming shut with a heavy, expensive thud.
Inside the SUV, the sudden blast of air conditioning was a relief. Sofia sank into the leather, her heart still hammering against her ribs. She looked at Layla, a sudden wave of self-consciousness hitting her. “Oh my god ... I can’t believe I just said all that. I’m surprised I was so potty mouthed.”
Layla gave her a fiercely supportive look, adjusting her bag. “Are you kidding? Miguel absolutely deserved it. Don’t even worry about it. Remind me never to piss you off though!”
Up front, the driver adjusted the rearview mirror. He had caught the entire interaction. Before pressing his foot to the gas, he turned his head slowly, his dark eyes locking onto the two boys through the open window. He distinctly noticed the pure hatred radiating from Miguel and Diego as they stared him down. He didn’t say a word, keeping a cold, assessing gaze that took in Miguel’s aggressive posture and Diego’s slack-jawed awe, completely unfazed before he rolled the window up.
The girls burst into a fit of breathless, mocking laughter as the car began to move. “Oh my god, did you see his face?” Sofia giggled, the adrenaline finally fading.
“Friends of yours?” Kumar asked, concerned.
“Them? They’re posers.” Layla declared as the Pajero accelerated, pulling away from the curb with a smooth, powerful surge, leaving the two boys standing in a cloud of warm exhaust.
Back on the sidewalk, Miguel watched the taillights disappear around the corner, his fists clenched so hard his nails dug into his palms.
“Man ... did you see that?” Diego said, his voice entirely dejected as he stared at the empty space where Sofia had just been. “He’s with Daniela. He hangs out with her every single day. He’s clearly her boyfriend. Can’t the girls see that he’s taken? Why are they acting like that over him?”
“Because they’re idiots,” Miguel spat, his voice trembling with a mix of rejection and toxic pride. His eyes darkened with a dangerous focus. “I don’t care who he is. We’ll see who they’re running to after the party. If Layla doesn’t change her attitude by then ... she’s going to learn the hard way what happens when you ignore a real man.”
— The Rajesh living room was filled with the easy, comfortable warmth of people who had spent decades growing up and succeeding alongside one another. The evening sun cast long, golden blocks of light across the hardwood floor. It was a rare, quiet night; Zara was staying with her grandparents, giving Omar and Yasmine a coveted evening off to simply breathe and catch up with their closest friends.
Rajesh sat in the center of the deep sectional, the natural anchor of the room. Latha was tucked into his left side, her hand resting casually on his knee, while Isabella sat closely on his right.
Across from them, Omar was gesturing animatedly with his glass, practically weeping with laughter as he recounted the latest family drama.
“Mira ... and I swear to you, she looked him dead in the eye and told her grandmother that she didn’t need a birthday party this year because she was saving herself for her wedding!” Omar roared, leaning forward. “Zara has officially claimed Kumar as her novio. She won’t stop talking about him! You should have seen the poor boy’s face when he came to our house last week. He looked absolutely terrified, like a fragile ten-year-old girl was about to draft a legally binding marriage contract.”
The room broke into a chorus of laughter. Perched on the arm of the sofa, Daniela grinned wickedly, swirling her drink. “Oh, I am absolutely bringing this up at the club during our next tennis session Tio. I can see the headline now: Local Tutor Brought Down by Fifth-Grader.”
“Don’t you dare, Daniela,” Latha chided with a maternal smile, though she was chuckling. She patted Rajesh’s knee, looking across at Omar. “Leave my poor boy alone.”
“Oh, come on, Latha, let us milk it,” Rajesh joked, nudging Isabella playfully with his elbow. “The boy needs to learn how to handle his admirers. If he can’t handle Zara, he’s got no chance out there.”
Isabella laughed, a soft, musical sound, her eyes briefly locking with Rajesh’s with a warmth that went unspoken. “Cut him some slack, Rajesh. He’s a saint for not running away.”
“Exactly,” Yasmine agreed, leaning back against Omar’s shoulder, a soft smile on her face. “Kumar has been absolute perfection with our girls. He thinks the world of them, and honestly, we think the world of him. Let him have his quiet life before Zara actually grows up.”
The dining room curtains swung open, cutting the laughter short. Kumar walked into the room, looking tired but carrying a distinct air of accomplishment. Behind him, Layla and Sofia trailed like triumphant, exhausted athletes. Layla’s hair was beautifully chaotic from where she’d been pulling at it in concentration, and Sofia carried a thick stack of sheets like a prized trophy.
Kumar cleared his throat, a rare, genuinely proud smile breaking across his face. “Sorry to interrupt the story. But I think you all need to hear this.”
The room quieted instantly. Omar set his glass down on the table.
Kumar tapped the papers in Sofia’s hand. “Sofia and Layla just finished their full-length diagnostic tests for the week. They didn’t just hit a new high ... they stayed there. Both of them scored a consistent 1300 today. That’s a clean two-hundred-point jump from their baseline just a few weeks ago.”
For a heartbeat, the room was dead silent and then, the living room erupted. Kumar’s eyes flicked briefly to the two girls. The quiet pride in his expression was unmistakable. For a second he looked less like their strict tutor and more like their wellwisher.
“Dios mío! Qué maravilla!” Isabella cried out, jumping up to pull Sofia into a fierce, emotional hug, kissing both her cheeks. “Mi amor, I knew it! I knew you had it in you!”
Yasmine was already on her feet, pulling Layla into a tight embrace. “1300? Oh, my sweet girl! What a wonderful improvement. I am so proud of you!”
Latha beamed up at her son, her eyes shining with quiet emotion. “You did this, kanna. In just a few weeks. I always told your father you had the gift.”
Rajesh stood up, clapping Kumar hard on the shoulder, his grip lingering with deep pride. “Well done, son.”
Omar stepped forward, extending a hand, his grip firm and filled with profound gratitude. “You’ve given them a real shot, Kumar. I don’t even know how we begin to thank you for this.”
Kumar accepted the praise modestly, though his eyes flicked briefly toward the girls, a subtle warmth in his gaze. “They did the actual heavy lifting. I just gave them the structure. They’re incredibly smart, they just needed to stop treating the exam like an enemy.”
Layla, still flushed and breathless from her mother’s hugging, stepped right into Kumar’s personal space. She looked up at him through her lashes, a mischievous, intensely flirtatious grin playing on her lips. “So ... if we’re such genius puzzle-solvers, Professor ... does that mean we’re done for the day?”
Sofia stepped up right beside her, abandoning her mother’s embrace to anchor herself near Kumar. She nodded eagerly, her eyes locked onto his. “We’ve been staring at geometry for three hours, professor. Our brains are literally melting. We deserve a reward.”
Kumar raised an eyebrow, attempting to summon his strict tutor persona, but the corner of his mouth twitched traitorously. “You two are entirely shameless. Fine. The session is officially wrapped. Go celebrate.”
The girls squealed, a high-pitched, synchronized sound of pure victory. An entirely new, chaotic idea was already forming in their minds.
— The heavy mahogany door of Latha’s master suite clicked shut, instantly sealing out the low hum of the men’s voices down the hall. Inside, the atmosphere shifted, thick with the scent of high-end perfumes, the soft rustle of expensive fabrics, and a sudden, heady surge of feminine energy.
Latha’s walk-in closet was a sensory sanctuary. Cedar shelves groaned under the weight of decades of collected Indian couture with stiff, majestic Kanchipuram silks shimmering with real gold zari, fluid georgettes that pooled like water, and intricately woven organzas. Initially, the women had laughingly tried to drape the heavy fabrics over their existing clothes, but the result was bulky and awkward.
“Oh, this is ridiculous,” Yasmine laughed, struggling with a thick pleat of royal emerald silk that kept slipping and bunching over her jeans. “We look like we’re wearing curtains, Latha.”
Latha turned from her vanity, her voice carrying the warm, rhythmic cadence of her Tamil upbringing. “Because you cannot drape pure silk over heavy denim, Yasmine. It ruins the silhouette. You have to do it properly. Take them off. All of it.”
There was no hesitation among the older women, whose lifelong bond had long bypassed any modesty. Dresses were unzipped, jeans slid down hips, and cotton tops were tossed onto the plush carpet.
As the clothes dropped, a synchronized gasp echoed from the three younger girls, who had eagerly taken charge as Latha’s self-appointed styling assistants.
“Dios, Mama!” Sofia breathed, her dark eyes wide as she stared at Isabella.
At thirty-eight, Isabella’s body was a breathtaking testament to dedication. Her curves were sharp, her waist incredibly narrow, and her sun-kissed skin possessed a flawless, airbrushed glow that the dim bedroom lighting only amplified. Next to her, Yasmine and Latha stood equally regal, their postures effortlessly straight, their hips flaring out into classic, devastating hourglasses.
“Seriously,” Layla chimed in, her gaze darting between Yasmine, Isabella, and Latha. “If I look half as good as you three when I’m thirty-eight, I’m never wearing clothes again. Ever.”
Yasmine laughed, reaching behind her back to adjust the strap of her bra. “Don’t look at me, look at Isabella. She’s the one who drags me to pilates three times a week. I’m so jealous of her. Right from when we were in school, she always had all the boys crazy after her. Just look at her now! She could be in a Playboy magazine!”
“Ay! Look who’s talking!” Isabella shot back, stepping into the center of the room. “Girls, do you know that Yasmine was the absolute queen bee of our graduating class? She was almost crowned Miss Honduras in 1989. No wonder Layla and Zara look the way they do. Don’t let anyone fool you about miss perfect here, being jealous of anyone.”
“Wow! Mama, you never told me about that!” Layla exclaimed, dropping a folded silk garment in surprise. “Why don’t you have any pictures out? You were in the running for Miss Honduras?”
“Ay, mija,” Yasmine sighed, though her cheeks flushed beautifully. “Those were the old days. Who would find an old crone like me desirable anymore?”
“Tia Yasmine ... you are fishing for compliments just like your daughter does,” Daniela joked, leaning back against the wardrobe in just her lace underwear, her eyes tracing Yasmine’s hourglass silhouette with unabashed appreciation. As a bisexual woman, Daniela was swimming in sensory overload, and she wasn’t shy about building up the women’s egos. “One look at Tio Omar when he is in the same room as you and no one would ever believe a word you say. Not to mention the dozens of men that try to flirt with you every single day at the club.”
Layla giggled, a wicked spark in her eyes. “The only man who has made Mama completely speechless, though, has been the bombón upstairs the first time he met her.”
“Ay! Sí! Your son is truly an exceptional man, Latha,” Yasmine said warmly, turning to her friend. “You must be so proud of him! I hope someday my daughters are lucky enough to find a man with the character of my Omar or your son.”
Layla blushed furiously at her mother’s words, her eyes dropping to the floor. Sofia and Daniela immediately nudged each other, grinning knowingly.
Latha smiled, a deep, maternal warmth softening her features. “My son would be lucky if he had the love of one of these exceptional girls, Yasmine. And I would consider myself blessed if my future daughter-in-law could love me as much as these beautiful, intelligent girls already do.”
Overcome by the affection, all three girls stepped forward, enveloping their precious Tia Latha in a warm, group hug. Daniela blinked back sudden tears, deeply touched by the unconditional love Latha had shown her since she returned from Austin. “Tia Latha ... you are as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside.”
Latha smiled warmly, stepping out of the embrace to adjust a heavy stack of gold glass bangles on her vanity. “Thank you, kanna. But I credit Isabella entirely for keeping me moving. At forty-five, it is very easy to just let go. Isabella can be very intense.”
Isabella caught Latha’s reflection in the mirror. An intensely wicked glint flashed between them.
“Well,” Isabella quipped softly, her fingers smoothing tantalizingly over the bare curve of her own hip, “Rajesh certainly enjoys you staying fit. He says it’s excellent for his blood pressure.”
The room erupted into easy, rolling laughter. Yasmine shook her head, while Latha offered Isabella a deeply knowing, affectionate look, the unspoken bond between the two older women humming beautifully beneath the noise.
“Alright, enough gossiping. Let’s try the blouses with the sarees now,” Latha announced, pulling open a deep velvet-lined drawer. But as she began handing out the traditional, tailored silk blouses, the real problem became immediately apparent.
Latha held a beautifully embroidered cream silk blouse against Isabella’s chest and let out a dramatic, defeated sigh. “Aiyo, it’s not even close. None of these are going to close without completely ripping the stitching apart.”
The room fell into a brief, highly amused silence as they confronted the sheer discrepancy in their measurements. Latha, with her elegant breasts, stood before a room of absolute, gravity-defying abundance.
“You girls have grown entirely too much,” Latha murmured, looking at Sofia and Layla with a mix of maternal pride and mild exasperation.
“It’s genetic, Tia,” Sofia giggled, casually adjusting her stance. At eighteen, Sofia was already a striking F-cup, boasting an incredibly firm, pert shape that required almost no effort to look perfect. Isabella shared her daughter’s proportions, though her fullness carried the slightly heavier sensual maturity of a grown woman. Yasmine and Layla were no less blessed.
Latha looked at the sea of cleavage, then down at her own chest, letting out a theatrical pout. “I swear, Honduras must have something in the water. I look like a schoolgirl next to all of you. I wish my breasts were as big as yours.”
Isabella laughed softly, stepping up beside her and resting a comforting, warm hand on Latha’s bare shoulder. “Oh, please, Latha. Rajesh has never complained about them once in the bedroom. You know exactly how much he loves them.”
“That’s because he knows what’s good for him,” Sofia interjected with a smirk, before her brain caught up with her mouth. “Kumar is exactly the same way. Hyper-focused on what’s right in front of him.”
The moment the words left her lips, Sofia’s face turned a violent, brilliant crimson. Layla immediately let out a sharp, victorious cackle, while Yasmine, Isabella, and Latha all turned to look at the girl with immense, highly amused expressions.
“Oh, is he?” Yasmine teased, her eyebrows raised. “Is there something that we need to know about, girls?”
Desperate to save her daughter from dying of embarrassment, Isabella cracked the tension with a wry smile. “Don’t worry, mi amor. All men are exactly the same. They are all fascinated by large breasts. I am sure that Kumar is no exception.”
“We need a backup plan for the blouses,” Daniela intervened, her eyes lingering appreciatively on the smooth expanse of skin in the room. She looked at Isabella, her eyes tracing the flawless slope of her waist. “Tia Bella, seriously, your body is an absolute dream. If I looked like you, I’d walk around the club naked.”
Isabella flushed happily, her ego thoroughly stroked.
“I have an idea,” Latha said, her eyes lighting up as she surveyed the closet. “Sofia, your house is literally next door. Run and grab some matching bikini tops. The string ones. We can wear those instead of the blouses! I know it’s not traditional, but the bikini top in place of the traditional blouse is very in vogue right now on the runways.”
“Yes! Perfect!” Sofia agreed, thrilled for an excuse to escape the teasing about Kumar. She quickly put her clothes back on and bolted out of the room. She noticed that the men were deep in discussion. Layla had told her that Kumar was helping her dad with something at the company. Layla joined her and the two of them ran to her house.
“That was close. Why did you say that Sofia?” asked a breathless Layla.
“I don’t know. I’ve been running my mouth too much today. I need to be more careful!” Sofia exclaimed.
The girls quickly raided the house and ran back, carrying a handful of vibrant bikini tops. To Sofia’s relief the women had moved on to other topics. Daniela, Isabella and Yasmine were listening riveted to Latha’s descriptions of the different types of sarees.
“Ay! I didn’t even know that there were so many different types of sarees, let alone so many different styles of tying them!” Yasmine exclaimed.
“I love the heavy, regal ones,” Yasmine said, running her fingers lovingly over a rich emerald Kanchipuram silk. “The weight and gold border make you feel like royalty.”
Latha smiled, holding up a classic cream-and-gold Banarasi. “Exactly. Structured and elegant. Rajesh can’t keep his hands off me in this one.”
Isabella chose a flowing, lightweight georgette in vibrant sunset orange. “Those are beautiful, but I feel that this one would be more comfortable on the skin.
Daniela had picked a bold, contemporary organza saree with devastating floral prints that hugged her curves like a second skin. The vibrant patterns matched her caramel skin perfectly.
As they began the actual draping, the room became a masterclass in the distinct textures of Indian couture.
Latha helped Yasmine into a thick, emerald-green Kanchipuram silk, the heavy weave falling in pristine, structured pleats that gave Yasmine an impossibly majestic, royal aura. Latha chose a classic cream-and-gold Banarasi for herself, looking like an elegant matriarch.
Isabella looked devastating in her choice of saree. The thin fabric clung dangerously to her skin, highlighting her sharp curves like never before, draped purposefully low to show off a massive, tantalizing expanse of her bare midriff and lower back.
“Madre de dios, Bella! If you walk out of the house dressed I think all the men in Tegus would be on their knees begging you to look at them!” Yasmine admitted admiringly.
“As if she needs this to have them on their knees,” Latha snorted. “She’s one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever met.”
Meanwhile, Sofia and Layla chose contemporary, lightweight organza sarees with bold, devastatingly beautiful floral prints. As the heavy skirts were tucked into their waistbands, the sudden exposure of their midriffs revealed identical, shimmering gemstone navel studs. The piercings caught the light beautifully, drawing the eye directly to the flat, smooth planes of their stomachs.
Daniela stared at the girls’ navels, letting out a low, envious groan. “Oh, stop it. Those navel studs look absolutely gorgeous. Now I want one.”
“You should get one, Dani!” Layla said, adjusting her red floral silk. “We can buy matching jewelry and make all the boys go crazy!”
Yasmine groaned, “Don’t you get enough attention already mija!”
“Never!”
“Are you crazy? It takes like six months to a year to fully heal,” Daniela complained, pouting as she helped adjust Layla’s drape. “I don’t have the patience to avoid the pool for that long. I’ll just have to admire yours.”
The process of dressing became an intimate, highly sensual ritual of mutual admiration. The women helped drape each other, their fingers smoothing the rich silks over bare skin. The contrast was devastating: the traditional, royal elegance of the sarees paired with the modern, revealing cut of the string bikini tops, highlighting the heavy swell of their breasts and the smooth, bare expanses of their stomachs.
Daniela stood behind Yasmine, helping her tuck the emerald silk into her waistband, her hands lingering just long enough against Yasmine’s hip to make her smile. “Tia, you look like an actual queen. Tio Omar is going to have a literal heart attack when you walk out there.”
“Let him,” Yasmine murmured, her eyes shining in the mirror as she admired the way the green silk transformed her. “He deserves it for working too hard anyway. At least this way I will get his complete, undivided attention for once.”
Latha stood between Isabella and Sofia, adjusting the pleats of Isabella’s orange georgette. She looked at Sofia, then at Layla, a deep, fierce maternal warmth washing over her. She had spent the last three years in Honduras feeling like a fish out of water, but right here, surrounded by these women, helping them step into the clothing of her heritage, she felt entirely at home. Sofia and Layla weren’t just her neighbors’ kids; they were her daughters. And Daniela was quickly becoming one as well.
“Look at us,” Isabella whispered, standing flush against Latha as they took one final look in the full-length mirror. The orange, cream, and deep green silks blended together beautifully with the vibrant prints of the girls.
“Spectacular,” Latha said softly, her pride radiating through her smile. “Absolutely spectacular. Let us go show them what they’re missing.”
— The next day Daniela and Kumar were on the couch watching the news when the heavy click of the front door echoed through the quiet house, signaling Latha’s departure. She had left early to join Isabella on another marathon session of local real estate logistics, leaving the house entirely to the two of them.
The moment the driveway gravel settled, Daniela capitalized on the privacy with zero hesitation. She had practically sprinted upstairs to Kumar’s room to his bewilderment, leaving her existing clothes in a heap next to his bed, only to reappear minutes later wearing absolutely nothing but one of his oversized, faded grey cotton t-shirts. The thin fabric stretched tautly over the generous, braless swell of her breasts, the hem riding so dangerously high up her thighs that it barely covered the soft curve of her bottom with every step she took.
Kumar looked up from the sofa, his eyes tracking the stark expanse of bare skin approaching him. A dry, slightly raspy remark escaped his lips. “You know, Daniela, for someone who claims to have high fashion standards, you seem completely incapable of keeping your panties on around me.”
Daniela let out a loud, delighted burst of laughter. “Oh, shut up, you love it!”
