Fiction Story: Foreword - A former Marine Captain is trying to deal with wounds suffered in Viet Nam while running a struggling business. He discovers his wife in bed with a black man. Life gets worse from there. No 'AI' was involved in writing this story. I always have problems with the codes.

‘Captain Jack’ is not an autobiography. He is a fictitious, composite character I made up from three different people I knew during my life. All are dead as I write this story.
One was a Marine Captain; he showed me what was expected of an Officer of Marines.
Another was a Marine Gunnery Sergeant; the toughest and bravest man I ever met in my life!
The third was an older black man who lived near where I grew up. This guy lived in a four-bedroom, one bath house with 2 women. He was the father of 15 kids! When asked about it, he would smile and say, “That’s right fifteen kids, all conceived before air-conditioning!” Think about that for a minute, 18 people living in a small, frame house in the hot, humid, rural South. It had to be love!
