Dungeon Mistress II

Author’s Note: Hello!

Apologies for what’s about to be a long preamble. This is the start of a sequel series to Dungeon Mistress, and so I wanted to take the opportunity to set some expectations.

First of all, if you haven’t read Dungeon Mistress, I’d ... probably do that before you embark on this story, because it’s a sequel? I really do think it’s some of my best work, and if you don’t like it, you probably won’t like this anyway.

In case you need a refresher, I figured I’d better include a quick summary. It’s below. If you don’t need that, you can just skip down to Chapter 1.

Also, I debated long and hard on what to title this series. I went with Dungeon Mistress II for clarity’s sake. Alternate title options include Sunkissed and Children of the Sun, just in case you’re curious. It’ll make sense. I hope.

A few specific notes on chapters 1 and 2:

First, I’m combining them because they both cover character creation; future chapter releases probably won’t be combined and will (obviously) feature more gameplay.

Second, in a departure from the first series, Chapter 1 is from Mike’s POV. Chapter 2 (and subsequent chapters) are from Chris’s; I still view him as the central protagonist, although I’ll probably occasionally use other POVs when I think they”ll be useful to tell the story.

Finally: I’m tagging this reluctance/noncon, like the first series, to be safe ... although I think it’s markedly less reluctance/noncon than the original. All the characters are clued in at this point, so I might just adjust to ‘group sex’ at some point; I’m not sure.

THE STORY SO FAR

Chris was the Dungeon Master for his childhood friend group’s game of Dungeons and Dragons for decades, but has to take some time away when he gets busy with work. His friends, Mike, Liz, and Erin, find a new DM: Monica. Chris runs into Monica at a housewarming party for Mike, who invites him to join the game she’s running as a player. Monica is attractive, and Chris likes D&D -- he agrees readily.

It turns out she runs a different kind of game; everyone shows up in costume, there’s a lot of physical roleplaying, and Monica immediately begins to blur the lines between players and characters, drawing Chris into increasingly erotic and charged scenarios that push his boundaries. In spite of his best efforts to resist, Monica’s machinations rapidly cause Chris’s character to submit to her villains and other characters, drawing his loyalty to his friends into question.
