Chapter 5: We were never closer as our swinging accelerated

We met the third couple, Rod and Ingrid, for drinks at our favorite meeting place. But after the first 5 minutes of chit chat, Gale signaled to me a “hell no” I wouldn’t fuck him for a free steak and lobster dinner at Gibson’s. We stated that we’ll give them a call and arrange a meeting in the future. Rod was really a nerd and spoke in a nasal voice and had a bad complexion like he had never been in the sun before. He was a definite no. Ingrid wasn’t too bad, but we figured since she was married to Rod she must not have very good taste in men. They couldn’t wait to fuck us both they were so eager.

Gale and I had now experienced the pleasures and excitement of an open marriage and swinging for the second time and were very comfortable in the choices that we both had made. It brought us closer together knowing that we didn’t have to worry about one another going off and having an affair with someone else like a thief at night and destroying our complete and wonderful loving relationship with deceit and dishonesty. After three great years of marriage, we could not be happier or more in love.

My business was flourishing at the Board of Trade, crops were having banner years, there were no wars going on, the economy was excellent and everything in our world was terrific. We had reached a net worth of nearly 3 million dollars, Gale received a promotion on the floor as a supervisor of the floor runners, and the best part is we were able to spend most of our time together. We rode the “L” to work together, we would see and have lunch at the Board together at Cellars Market and have cocktails at Ceres Café before heading back home on the “L”.
