“Who do you think you are,” the fourth said as he started to power up. I shot a bolt at him that hit, then overpowered his shields.

I walked to where he was also screaming, standing over him. I hissed, “I am your death. I will be the last thing that you see when I destroy you.”

I reached in and stripped him of all the power that he had, him begging me to kill him after I did. I did the same to the other, only stopping his bleeding, nothing else.

I then trussed them up on a pole and started to torture them. It was slow, painful and satisfying. I had to move them outside the village to spare all their screams and groans.

Iqua had me heal them partly, then sent the both of them to the other four as a warning. Iqua said as strong as I was, there weren’t many that could heal them.

I nodded as I thought of my sisters further in time with four less to kill them. I was going to have to go to them to make sure that they lived.

My wife saw this as she agreed with my new plan. She whispered as I nodded, agreed with her and a promise I would return, then I vanished.

I appeared near the home that my sisters and I used to share. The first thing I did was shield the home. I heard them before I saw them as the four asses appeared in front of me.

I smiled as I pointed at the strongest one. I kept an eye on the other three as Iqua had smacked me more than a few times, not paying attention. It felt so sweet when I watched the first ignite, then die.

The other three screamed in anger as they all tried to attack me at the same time. They weren’t as coordinated as they thought they were.

I smacked two out of the air as the last one vanished. I loomed over them then stripped them of every power they had. Then I left them as two puddles of sobbing flesh, human and mundane.

I knew the last one would be back as soon as he got reinforcements. I had thought about this and rather than vocally explain it, I pushed the thoughts of danger and explanation.

All three of them came out, and their mouths dropped open as they stared at me. I was masked, so I didn’t think they knew who I was. I motioned for them to follow me, then had them join hands as I winked out with them.

Less than a few minutes later, no less than twenty extremely pissed-off magic users appeared. The most powerful, the leader, shook his head, then his mouth dropped open.

“This was not an act of just killing this was a declaration of war. This was a nature magic user, the most powerful there is.” Here he looked at the one that had escaped. “What did you eight do? The death of one I could see, but not three ceasing life and four with sealed away magic. I might not be able to fight this one,” the leader said.

The one that had escaped tried to kill the leader, then fled. Almost all those there left with him, appearing back in their meeting Manor.

“We have to do after the abomination. We are strong enough to destroy him and get vengeance for our brothers. The freak’s sisters need to die also, as we planned. Of course, we can have as much fun with them as we want as a reward,” the one that had escaped said wickly.

“What of the other two hundred brothers,” one of the twenty said.

“I have most of them in my pocket, we just need to kill all four before we come back. We’ll be heroes for keeping the magic lines clean, the now leader said.

“What are we to do while we await the others?” Another said.

“We guard our manor in case any others that don’t agree with us appear. There are twenty-one of us, we should be strong enough to keep them out,” the leader said.

Less than a minute later, an alarm went off as the doors locked, and the windows were closed off. “Intruders in the magic hall, intruders in the magic hall,” a door ope4ned as the voice continued. “Leave now while you are free to do so.”

All of the males went through the door as fast as they could. “I thought that the alarms were off,” one of the twenty said.

“Apparently the leader didn’t die and set the intruder alert to all of us. Damn it, let’s go hunt the freak, shouldn’t be hard to find,” the leader said.

A few hours later, they were more than frustrated. They had searched the entire world and still had not found us.

They then started to search back through each year. I wasn’t planning on them finding us as I came after them. I took two more a few years from where they had started.

I was gone far faster than they could track me. I waited an hour, then went back and picked off four more their screams, alerting the others.

They were suddenly afraid, they could not detect me then again. I wasn’t really there so, yeah. I thought they were going to head back as they were highly alert now, no dice.

I again snuck on four more, nearly getting killed in the process. I barely managed to leave before the other fifteen that were left showed up.

I landed with a thud next to Iqua and our Teepe, her shouting at me ‘til she saw I was hurt. “Here I thought you were being careful,” she said as she dragged me to the front of the Teepe.

“I got all but one of them,” I panted, a smile on my face. “There are at least a hundred or so that are after me and possibly the village. I got ten of those that were following me. I love you, Iqua.”

My wife smiled at me, then I passed out. Three strange females appeared a moment later, they looked worried. “Is he alright?” The oldest asked. “He brought us here after four mages attacked our home.”

Iqua nodded, then smiled, “You are safe here for now. He,” here, she pointed to me, “protects all of us, especially me and our son.

“You don’t seem to understand, he has nature magic. Very rare where we come from, none of us can transverse time,” the oldest of my three younger sisters, Nell said.

“Are you a nature mage?” My second younger sister, Gene, said.

Iqua nodded though didn’t say anything.

“Then you can help us!” my youngest sister Fay said.

Sadly, Iqua shook her head, “As you said, to traverse time is rare indeed, especially without tailsmens. This is my husband of over forty years even if we have only been together here for a year.”

My three sisters could only stare at Iqua. “Who are you?” Nell asked.

“I told you,” Iqua started, then stopped when Nell shook her head. “Ah, I see, I am Iqua shaman of the Turtle tribe. I have very strong healing magic, and can utilize almost all other types of magic. Though, my power is practically nothing compared to his.”

All my sister’s mouths dropped open at what she had said. “Just who in the hell is he?” Gene asked.

“I am afraid that I can not reveal that, as it is his to tell. I am his wife, please be seated, be welcome as I heal him. It appears that four fire mages got to him, before he killed them,” Iqua said.

“Four? How the hell do you know?” Fay asked, suddenly afraid.

“I can feel the power that was used against him,” Iqua said.

“Oh god!” Nell started to yell upset. “What about Reginald? He’s still there, we have to go,” Nell stated, then stopped when Iqua shook her head no.

“Reg, as he likes to call himself, is safe for the present time.” All three of my sisters could only stare at Iqua with their mouths hanging open.

“How, how do you know him?” Fay asked. “He left this morning, and we haven’t seen him since.”

“He is here, and he is safe, believe me, again because of him,” Iqua said as she pointed to me.

“You can’t tell us though, because it is your husband’s tale to tell?” Nell asked with a smirk on her face.

Iqua just nodded, then held her stomach in pain, “Apparently he is more than eager to be with us.” All my sisters were worried now, as they helped Iqua to lay on a pallet next to me.

“I worked as a nurse in a human hospital, would you allow me to help?” Nell asked. Iqua smiled as she realized just who was helping her.

“Thank you, this is our first, and I am scared that he is not awake,” she said as her hand snaked to mine, letting healing energy flow into me.

Luckily, the labor pains passed as she kept ahold of my hand. I awoke with a jerk as I noticed that Iqua was asleep beside me. Then, I noticed that all three of my sisters were here, alsIeep.

I quietly started to cry as I realized that they were alive. I tried to stay quiet, but I awoke Iqua as she held me and said, “shhh I know it is a lot to process, but you did it.”

I nodded as nothing could come out of my mouth. “It appears that you have succeeded for now. Though I feel that there are many out there still,” Iqua said.

I sighed, “I thought I was ready, obviously I am not as strong as I thought I was.”

Iqua gently ran a hand up my face as she smiled. “You have already changed yours and the tribe’s destiny. My husband, you are far stronger than you realize. You survived the attack of four fully charged fire mages. There aren’t even a handful of mages that can claim that.”

My head snapped back at this news, “Four? I only remember two. When,” I started.

“No, my dear, there were indeed four. You not only resisted them, but you survived when they finally overcame your shields. We need to strengthen you more if you are to finish this,” Iqua said with a smile.

I sat there in shock as I looked over my sisters. They appeared to be exhausted. “I’m still not sure what I am to tell them about who and what I am.”

Iqua smiled at me in that sexy way that she had. “Husband, I trust that when you are ready, as they will be, you will reveal all. For now, you are a close family friend. They are traumatized so go slow. I feel the love you have for them and us.”
