Monday, September 20, 2032 – Avon Grove High School

Jackson met Jessie by her locker before school started. After she got her books, she turned and headed the opposite direction from her home room.

“Where are we off to?” Jackson asked as he followed her.

“I want to check to the cast list to see if I got a role in the fall’s musical,” Jessie replied. They found a group of students congregating around the bulletin board outside the music room.

“Ah ... my trusty servant, Patsie,” Chris Rush said, grinning, when he saw Jessie.

“I got that part?” Jessie asked. “Your highness? You got the part of King Arthur?”

“I did,” Chris replied. Jessie curtsied to the “king” and gave him a hug.

“I am honored to be at your service, your highness,” Jessie mugged.

“I think his play will be a lot of fun,” Chris said. “I am looking forward to working closely with you again.”

Jessie and Jackson headed back towards their home rooms. “Your highness? What was that about?” Jackson asked. Jessie explained about the musical Spamalot.

“I saw ‘Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail’ once a few years ago,” Jackson commented. “The movie was kind of goofy and offbeat, but it was fun. You will play the guy who follows King Arthur around, clapping coconut halves together?”

“Patsie, that will be me,” Jessie replied.

“I could never do that,” Jackson commented. “Stand up in front of hundreds of people and sing. No thank you.”

“I think it will be fun,” Jessie said. “Especially working with Chris. We were good together in last spring’s play.”

Thursday, September 23, 2032 – Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA

Players and coaches hated Thursday night games. Owners and the league felt differently. More games meant more eyeballs on the games and more ad revenue for TV, which translated to more revenue for the teams. The coaches had to keep the game plan simple, since they had almost no time to prepare for their opponent. The players hated it. In a normal seven-day week, the aches, pains and injuries of the previous game were mostly healed by the next game. When you played on a Thursday, the hurts were still there. Playing another game so quickly made the players feel like they had been in a fifty-car wreck on Friday morning.

Kyle and his coaching staff did their best to prepare their team in the three days before the game. The staff did a couple late nighters preparing the game plan, but Kyle absolutely insisted everyone had to go home for some sleep instead of following the example of the previous Eagles staff who were notorious for sleeping at NovaCare complex when they worked late, not that it did them any good. Almost of those coaches were let go before Kyle was hired.

During pregame warmups, the Texans’ quarterback, Bryson Roberts made a point of seeking out Kyle. “Coach, how are you doing?” Roberts asked. “It’s been what ... a couple years since we’ve had much chance to talk.”

“I’m good, Bryson,” Kyle replied. “Three years, I think ... back on [Penn State’s main] campus. The library fundraiser. Thank you for contributing.”

“Just paying it forward,” Bryson replied, grinning. “I owe Penn State and Coach Burton so much for where I am today.”

“I know that feeling,” Kyle agreed.

“A little birdie tells me you’re going to homecoming to be honored in a few weeks,” Bryson said. “Let me be the first to congratulate you and your teammates. You and your teammates inspired Matt [Sauder] and his crew to win a championship. Matt mentored me when I was a seventeen-year-old kid who red-shirted his first season of big-time ball. I owe you and Matt so much.”

“I am going to homecoming for the first time since I graduated. I am lucky homecoming is on our bye week.”

“Oh, hell ... fortunate?” Bryson laughed. “My little birdie says they scheduled homecoming around your bye week to make sure you were able to attend. The twentieth anniversary of your run at the national championship in 2012. That is special.”

“You didn’t do too bad either, Bryson,” Kyle replied. “Back-to-back national championships set a high mark for every Nittany Lion since you. You getting back to campus this year?”

“My 2022 team is gathering to celebrate our tenth anniversary of our first championship the weekend after Thanksgiving,” Bryson agreed. “God ... I can’t believe it’s been ten years already.”

“Time marches on,” Kyle replied. The two saw one of the Texan coaches waving to Bryson to get back to work. “Watch your back, Bryson, we will be bringing the heat.”

“I faced Coach Czarwinski’s Commanders defense twice while he was in Washington,” Bryson replied. “I KNOW I will face some heat today.”

Coach C and the defense did bring the heat right from the start of the game. The Texans took the kickoff. Five plays later, Monroe Duckworth broke free and nearly sacked Bryson Roberts. Bryson managed to toss a wounded duck of a pass that Marcus Davis picked off easily. That set the Eagles up with a short field. Aiden Anderson led the offense on a short, four play, thirty-two yard drive to score a TD.

The Eagles never relinquished the lead that evening. The defensive line kept the pressure on Roberts. DeMarco Hunter and Xavier Jones kept the Texans honest. Bryson was never sure whether those two linebackers would rush him or drop back into coverage. DeMarco picked off a ball before halftime, setting up the Eagles offensive for another TD, giving them a halftime lead of 17-3.

The Eagles offense received the kickoff to start the second half, and burned nearly half the time in the third quarter with a thirteen-play drive culminating in another TD. The Texans finally got into the end zone on their next possession.

Kyle sat Aiden Anderson down with a 24-10 lead. With the short week, the break would be good for his #1 quarterback. Kyle also wanted Dylan Harris to knock the rust off his game. Dylan had not played a single down last season, thanks to his knee injury. Dylan did not disappoint Kyle. Ryan throttled the offense down, concentrating on running the ball and taking time off the clock with minimum risk.

Coach C stopped the blitzes, also wanting to lessen the risk. The Texans managed to sustain a drive. Coach C went back to blitzing when they Texans pushed down into the Eagles Red Zone. The pressure worked, leading to two incompletions and a sack. The Texans kicked a 44 yard field goal to narrow the score to Eagles-24, Texans-13.

Around ten minutes were left on the clock when Dylan Harris led mostly second-string players out. Dylan burned all but 1:42 off the clock, though they did not score. The Texans used all their timeouts to preserve that much time on the clock. Lachlan Pierce, the Eagles’ Aussie punter, pinned the Texans back at the 6 yard line with a brilliant punt out of bounds. Coach C sent in three linemen, DeMarco Hunter and eight defensive backs. He allowed the Bryson and the Texans to grab eight or ten yards a play before the team rallied to the tackle. The clock kept running as they Texans drove down the field.

Bryson Roberts won to college national championships and lasted in the NFL for ten seasons because he was talented. He managed to fire a pass into his tight end in the end zone for a TD. The Texans tried for the two point conversion. Demarco Hunter recognized the shuttle pass and knocked the ball away from the tailback. 0:34 remained on the clock when the Texans tried an on-side kick. Colin Weaver fielded the kick before it traveled ten yards. Dylan Harris and the offense came out and took one more snap and did a kneel-down to end the game. The final scores Eagles-24, Texans-19.

The Eagles players would have a short vacation, not needing to come in until next Monday. Then preparations would start for the prime-time, Sunday night game down in Dallas against the Cowboys. Eagles fandom had high expectations for their team to beat the hated Cowboys.

Kyle and his coaches worked Friday, preparing for the game against the Cowboys, but also to prepare for the game the following weekend against the Bengals in Munich, Germany.

Friday, September 24, 2032 – Bishop Shanahan High School, Downingtown, PA

The Bishop Shanahan Eagles won the coin toss and took the ball first. They managed to piece together a decent drive, though Coach Stupar’s defense managed to hold them to a field goal. Coach Stupar, promoted to be the varsity defensive coordinator this season, was proving to be a virtuoso at calling defenses.

The Shanahan Eagles’ 3-0 lead turned out to be the highlight of their evening. Danny and the Red Devils needed four plays to score their first touchdown. It was a 42 yard bomb to Ricardo Munez. Ricardo, a senior and team captain, was proving to be a great target for Danny as well as a friend and mentor for the freshman QB.

The Red Devils didn’t allow the Eagles another score before halftime. Danny ran in for a TD on their second possession. He threw for three more TDs on subsequent drives. The Red Devils lead 35-3 at halftime. Danny and the first-string players took the bench after halftime. Liam Richards and the second-string players proceeded to run the ball down the tiring Shanahan players’ throats. When the Red Devils second string pushed the ball in for another touchdown, it was misery rule time. The clock never stopped, for incompletions, for changes of possession or anything. The clock was about the only thing that would stop the Red Devils juggernaut. Liam and company scored three more TDs as time wound down on the clock.

The Shanahan Eagles did manage to sustain one drive late in the fourth quarter against the greenest and youngest of the Red Devils defenders. They made a field goal to bring the score to 56-6. It was far too little, much too late. To add insult to the Eagles after their score, Liam and crew drove down the field and scored a final TD to finish the game with the Red Devils-63, the Shanahan Eagles-6. This was the most dominating win by Avon Grove’s football team in over a decade.

Kyle sent the Eagles coaches home before dinner that evening. He enjoyed watching his middle son dominate on the field. He did not get nearly enough chances to watch Danny play.

Saturday, September 25, 2032 – Party at Jones Residence, Avondale, PA

Andrew Jones, the QB3 who also played some defensive back, hosted the team’s party that evening. The team captains strictly enforced the no alcohol policy at the party. They made sure the party had plenty of snack food and sodas, as well as places for couples to find privacy.

Danny and Anna enjoyed the fellowship of Danny’s teammates, as well as the food and sodas. The talked for a while. They danced a bit. They made out until one of the bedrooms came open. The two enjoyed two rounds of sex without artificial protection. Going bare was perfectly safe, Anna assured Danny. Her period was expected to start on Monday. There was no chance at all that he could knock her up that night.

Anna was not surprised to find Danny’s copious semen leak out of her when she got up Sunday morning. She was surprised to see the semen tinged with blood. Her period came early. There was zero chance of pregnancy now.

“Oh ... yeah ... keep going,” Jessie moaned as Jackson plunged his big tool deep into her belly. The couple were sprawled on a blanket near Jackson’s car, parked on an isolated dirt road in the northern end of London Grove Township. It was a great spot for a horny teen couple looking for some privacy after a movie date. The amorous couple finished their second coupling with just enough time for Jackson to get Jessie home before her eleven o’clock curfew.

Jessie thought about Jackson and her relationship with him. Tonight had been fantastic. The tryst after the movie was as good as any time they spent together since they become a couple in the mountains in New Mexico. However, it bothered her a bit that they didn’t have lunches together, like she had with her previous boyfriends. Twice in the past week, Jackson had complained about the time she was spending with Chris Rush. Why was he acting that way? She and Chris had leading roles in the fall musical. It took time to get the dialogue and songs memorized for their performance. Of course, she would be spending time with Chris until the play was over. Why was he acting this way?

Tuesday, September 28, 2032 – Avondale Scout Cabin, Avondale, PA

Crew 491 held elections for the crew officers at their next meeting. To his shock, Logan Robertson beat out Savannah Andersen for president of the crew. Savannah was Jordan Andersen’s older sister. Jessie Martin was elected the vice president. Logan and Jessie chose to have Christina Hammond continue as secretary and Trinty Ackerman as the treasurer. Both girls were seniors. Experience in the leadership of the crew would be an asset for the coming year. Kaylie Denning as selected to be the quartermaster. Jackson Robertson would be the grubmaster.

Responsibilities of the president, vice president, secretary and treasurer were like most organizations. The crew’s quartermaster took care of the crew’s equipment. The grubmaster was responsible for planning, buying and managing the crew’s food for camping trips.

Allison and Kathy North showed up to the meeting. After months of talking, Kathy and Jeremy finally convinced Allison to give Venturers a try. Mr. Hammond, the crew committee chairman and Mrs. Osborne talked with Kathy while Allison joined the other youth. When they heard about her extensive experience in Venturing, they prevailed on her to assist as an adult advisor with the crew.

Most of the evening was spent planning for the C&O Canal bike trip. Thankfully, the trip was scheduled for the third weekend in October, which did not conflict the Martins’ trip to Germany.

Thursday, September 30, 2032 – Avon Grove High School, West Grove, PA

“So, third period is free?” Chris Rush commented to Jessie in front of her locker before home room that morning.

“It works for me,” Jessie said. “I have a study hall. We can get hall passes from Mr. Sanchez and do our practicing then.”

“Cool,” Chris agreed. Jackson showed up just as Chris made the comment. “Hey, Jackson ... good to see you,” Chis added, before heading down the hall.

“This is like ... the third time this week you’ve been hanging out with Chris,” Jackson commented after the two exchanged a hug and a quick kiss. “It’s almost like you two have a thing going.”

“A thing?” Jessie laughed. “A romantic thing? No, that is silly. Chris and I do have a thing, it is called the play that we do in less than eight weeks. The two of us appear in nearly every scene. We have to learn a dozen songs. We both have third period free today, so we’re going to go down to the music area and use one of the practice rooms to go over a couple songs. Trust me, Jackson, I am no great singer. I need all the practice I can get to sound decent standing beside someone with a voice like Chris has.”

“It seems like you see an awful lot of him,” Jackson grumped.

“You’re jealous of Chris?”

“No ... of course not,” Jakson retorted.

“Relax, you are my guy,” Jessie said. The warning bell rang, telling them they had two minutes to get to their home rooms. The two kids headed there.

Jackson, despite three months of dating Jessie, still felt the same way he had back on the log at Copper Park’s bear cable last June. How could one of the hottest, most popular girls in this school see anything in a nobody like him? Chris Rush, he was in the same league as Jessie Martin. Jackson Robertson was not anywhere close in social standing as those two.

Friday, October 1, 2032 – Avon Grove High School, West Grove, PA

“You ready for tonight?” Anna asked as she hugged her boyfriend by her locker before school started. “It’s just homecoming and you are playing Coatesville, a bigger school who is undefeated like us.”

“I am ready,” Danny responded. “We’re going to kick their asses tonight. Count on it.”

“I am counting on it too,” Anna responded. “Is the team planning a party for Saturday night?”

“Yeah, Nick Chandler’s parents will be away,” Danny responded. “The team captains are planning a big blow out to celebrate what we expect to be a win tonight.”

“Maybe we should skip this party,” Anna said. “Maybe go out to a movie?”

“I need you, sweetie,” Danny said.

“I want you too,” Anna answered. “I had my period a day earlier than expected last time. What if it is early again? Or even earlier than last month?” She pulled Danny’s head down and whispered to him, “My cervical mucus is starting to change already. What happens if it turns clear and stringy five or six days from now? If we do the party, I’ll have a belly full of your sperm then.”

“I have rubbers,” Danny responded. “We can do it safely with them.”

“You know how I feel about birth control,” Anna retorted. “It is a sin to use it.”

“But...” Danny responded.

“No buts,” Anna insisted.

“I will be in Germany the next weekend. That will keep us apart for three weeks.”

“That is probably best,” Anna replied. “Tomorrow night may be unsafe. You know for damned sure the next Saturday night is unsafe. I will be halfway between two periods.”

“I’ll see if my mom or Jessie can give us a ride to Downingtown or Newark,” Danny said with a sigh.

“I can ask my mom if yours can’t give us a ride,” Anna said. “I think Mom is taking Mike and Avery to the movies in any case.”

“That’s a plan,” Danny agreed.

The Homecoming game against Coatesville proved to be an exciting shootout. The football field stands were filled to overflowing. Many fans brought camping chairs to sit on, to avoid the overcrowded stands. Both teams were undefeated and shared the lead in their league with Downingtown West.

The Avon Grove Red Devils had the first possession. Danny and his teammates needed five plays to score their first touchdown of the evening. They clearly outclassed the Coatesville Red Raiders’ defense. Unfortunately, the Red Devil’s defense had trouble stopping the Red Raider’s offense. Danny and Avon Grove never fell behind, though they were tied twice in the first half. They had a 28-17 lead at halftime.

The king and queen of homecoming were crowned during halftime. Drew Smith, one of their linebackers, had to leave the locker room to be crowned. Drew received a lot of teasing when he came back inside wearing a crown.

The fired up Red Devil’s defense stopped Coatesville on the first drive of the second half. Danny and the offense executed a twelve play, TD scoring drive to increase their lead to 35-17. Coatesville tried to rally and did score three touchdowns in the second half. Danny and his crew answered touchdown for touchdown. The final score was 49-38.

The Red Devils next big test would be when they faced Downingtown West in two weeks, when Danny came back from Germany.

Saturday, October 2, 2032 – Remote Parking Spot, London Grove Township, PA

Jackson spread a blanket on the ground for him and Jessie to enjoy a coupling before they headed home after the movie. Jessie stripped to her waist and the two sat down on the blanket to make out. Jackson loved playing with her tits. They were the biggest he’d ever had the pleasure to feel. ‘How had he gotten so lucky?’ he wondered for the hundredth time.

Jessie Martin was one of the hottest, most popular girls at Avon Grove High School. She could have just about any guy she wanted and yet, here she was, getting ready to ride his cock. Yes, they had a love of camping in common. However, they had few friends in common beyond the ones involved in Scouting. If it wasn’t for Jessie being without a boyfriend last summer, there was little chance they would have ever gone on a date, much less become a couple.

He was so out of his league dating Jessie. He was a little shocked when she accepted his request for a date a few weeks before their trip to Philmont. Him being her boyfriend was simply a fluke. He knew Jessie well enough now to know she got horny while they were at the Ranch. He was the most acceptable of the four unattached guys in their crew. No surprise, Ben and Jordan, both ninth-graders, weren’t seriously under consideration when Jessie needed a cock. Really it had been between him and Colton back then. He won out over slim competition. How much longer could this relationship last?

The two horny teens lay down on the blanket and began kissing. It did not take long for Jessie to get excited and ready for more. She dropped her pants and got on her hands and knees. Jackson dropped his and took position behind her. He slipped his cock up inside her tight, sweet pussy. He pumped in and out, Jessie’s moans telling him she was loving this.

‘How long could this last?’ Jackson wondered as he drilled his girlfriend. This wonderful relationship couldn’t possibly last, could it? They didn’t spend a lot of time together at school. His job kept him so busy, they rarely had time other than Saturday nights. Most concerning to Jackson, was this guy, Chris Rush.

Chris Fucking Rush, a senior, handsome, popular and one of the brightest stars at AGHS. Every time he turned around, there was Rush making time with his girl! It seemed like every other morning, there was Rush with Jessie. Jackson speared his cock in harder was he thought about the chances that Chris Fucking Rush might steal Jessie from him.

Jessie, unaware of the reason for the vigorous coupling, cooed in approval as he impaled her hungry pussy with his cock. Jackson hammered away. It did not take long at this pace for him to grunt and come hard. The two cuddled for a minute or two after his climax. They cleaned up and headed home.

Jackson dropped Jessie off and headed for his house. What was he going to do about Chris Fucking Rush? He just couldn’t lose Jessie but how could he compete with him?

Sunday, October 3, 2032 – AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX

The Dallas-Philly game was featured on NBC’s Sunday Night Football that Sunday evening. The Eagles had a 2-1 record while Dallas had a mirror image record of 1-2. They lost to Seattle to open the season, had beaten the Panthers and then lost to Baltimore last weekend.

Dak Prescott was starting for his seventeenth season at quarterback. The almost 40-year-old soldiered on. Owner Stephen Jones had been in the Spence Harding bidding in the spring. Dallas was feeling the need to prepare for Dak’s eventual retirement. When the Cowboys lost in the Harding sweepstakes, they picked up a fast wide receiver from Oregon to improve Dak’s arsenal of weapons. Unfortunately for the Cowboys, the kid blew out his knee in game 2 of the season.

AT&T Stadium was sold out. The huge crowd was well lubricated, having spent most of the afternoon and early evening drinking and tailgating out in the parking lot. The Eagles were probably the second most hated team to play the Cowboys, right behind the Washington Commanders. The Commanders drew the top spot on the most-hated list due to their more than a decade of dominance in the NFC East. The Eagles and the Giants were close behind the Commanders, since all four teams had been in the same division and played twice a year since the inception of the Cowboys seventy-two years ago.

The raucous crowd was in rare form when the Eagles lost the coin toss and received the kickoff. Colin Weaver fielded the ball at the 2 yard line and streaked up field. He got the ball out to the 42 yard line before one of the Cowboys tackled him. That was great starting field position to open the game.

“Good job, Weaver,” Kyle commented as he swatted his nephew on the butt as he came off the field.

“No sweat, Coach,” Colin replied. It was strictly ‘Coach’ and ‘Weaver’ or “Eight-Five’ when they spoke in a football setting. They reverted to ‘Uncle Kyle’ and ‘Colin’ in a family setting.

Aiden Anderson led the offense onto the field. They wasted little time. Four plays later, Aiden threw a bomb to sixth-year veteran Trey Connelly for a touchdown. The big, obnoxious crowd got considerably quieter as Trey and his teammates celebrated in the end zone.

On the ensuing kickoff, Nick Gordon managed to land the ball between the two returners at the two yard line and in the kickoff landing zone (end zone to 20 yard line). The two returners chased the ball but couldn’t reach it before it rolled into the end zone. One of the them downed it to give their team possession at the 20 yard line, about the worst result possible since the kickoff rules were revised eight seasons earlier.

Kyle wished the new kickoff rules had been in effect longer in his career. With the blockers pinned to their own 35 yard line until the ball touched the ground, think how many more yards he could have gained and how many touchdowns he could have scored under the relaxed rules. The revised kickoff rules went into effect in Kyle’s final season in Denver. Coach Baldwin chose not to send his aging superstar out to return kickoffs his last season.

Dak Prescott did his usual good job running the Cowboys offense. Coach C kept Dak under pressure. The once-vaunted Cowboys offensive line was just a shadow of its former self. DeMarco Hunter and Xavier Jones kept the middle covered, if one of them didn’t blitz the passer. The crafty veteran managed to keep his offense moving, albeit in fits and starts. The drive petered out in the Eagles Red Zone. The Cowboys kicked a short field goal to narrow the Eagles lead to 7-3.

Aiden Anderson and the Eagles offense hummed on the next drive. They only needed seven plays, three runs and four passes, to score. The last play was a thirty-two yard TD to Colin Weaver. The Eagles’ 14-3 lead mostly summarily quieted the big crowd.

Dak, a consummate professional, engineered a twelve play, TD scoring drive in answer the Eagles. Coach C kept the pressure on. The defenders played well, but Dak managed his offensive well. That TD returned a little more life to the crowd. Score: Eagles-14, Cowboys-10

Ryan had the hot hand that evening calling the offense. Aiden and crew required eight plays to move down into the Cowboys Red Zone. The drive stalled there. Nick Gordon kicked a thirty-four yard field goal to increase the Eagles’ lead to 17-10.

It was the middle of the second quarter. Despite near continuous pressure, Dak managed to move his team downfield. Just after crossing midfield, Dak dropped back to take a deep shot. Xavier Jones did a delayed blitz up the middle. He came clear of the center and guards, forcing Dak out of the pocket. He rolled to the right. Big Michael Greene had flattened the guard blocking him. Dak awkwardly dodged the pileup while he fled from Xavier. He stepped over the bodies on the ground only to find Monroe Duckworth had beaten his blocker.

Monroe wrapped up Dak and twisted him to the ground. To the big crowd’s shock and dismay, Dak’s body twisted but his left foot, caught in the pile of bodies did not. Xavier managed to dodge past Monroe and Dak.

Dak let out chilling scream as Monroe landed beside him. The referee blew his whistle, ending the play. Both Eagles and Cowboys players were up and signaling for the Cowboys trainers. The big stadium fell dead silent as the fans realized this was a bad injury.

Dak writhed on the ground, clutching his knee. Kyle heart leapt up to his throat. He knew the pain Dak was feeling only too well. Dylan Harris, near Kyle rubbed his recently repaired knee in sympathy for Prescott.

The trainers examined Dak for a couple minutes before signaling for the cart. Eagles and Cowboys players came over to encourage Dak once he was loaded onto the cart. Dylan made a point of talking with Dak.

“It popped Dylan,” Dak commented. The two Texans were casual friends. “Who’s going to want a forty-year-old with a bum knee?”

“You can come back,” Dylan replied. “I’m a forty-two-year-old quarterback with a bad knee. I’m still employed.”

“Listen to Dylan, Dak,” Kyle added. He was standing beside his backup quarterback. “The surgeons work miracles. I blew out my knee and I had a Hall of Fame career. Work your ass off and we’ll see you here on the field next season.”

“Thanks, Coach,” Dak replied. The crowd of players shook Dak’s hand, gave him back slaps or offered encouragement as the cart started up and wheeled the Cowboys’ biggest player off the field. Dak raised his fist as he was hauled off the field. The big crowd cheered their hero as he was carted off.

Jeremy Wright, who landed in Dallas after his stint with the Eagles last season, took the field. It was third down and thirteen yards to go. Jeremy had no magic. Dallas punted the ball back to the Eagles, where it bounced into the endzone.

This game was Aiden Anderson’s fourth start. He was getting the hang of his role. The Eagles offense was starting to click the way Kyle, Ryan and Ed envisioned when they signed on with the Eagles the previous season. The Eagles led 21-10 when they went to the locker room for halftime.
