Utuck looked at the power flow of the transporter cells and knew that the coordinates were accurate enough to pull the person from the planet.

He sighed with relief when the pattern sequencer buffer was filled correctly and that everything was in the green to push the flow towards the emitters.

He always likes to see the bright sparkles which were dancing above the place where the person would materialize. It was the suspension of waiting for who would appear. Even now it was extra exciting because they were rescuing Tillyn from an alien planet.

He always liked her friendly smile, which seemed to brighten the atmosphere of a room she stepped in. The moment was nearly there because the sparkles lost their sharp edges, indicating the emitters were about to bring her back to reality.

He gasped when a statuesque woman, dressed in a very strange bright red gown, stood in front of him. His eyes roamed over her partly uncovered legs and her seemingly broad hips. He could not believe his eyes when he saw her large chest and wondered if he had transported the wrong person. Only then, he saw the anger-contorted face of his friend Tillyn.

“NO!” she screamed while she stamped her foot, “TRANSPORT ME BACK, RIGHT NOW! ARIS!”

Their eyes met and in an instant her face softened and with tears in her eyes she pleaded, “Utuck, please transport me back. I can’t just leave him like that. Please. It’s not fair!”

It was the first time he had seen Tillyn in such despair and it took him a moment to gather his wits, but it was Millia who rushed to Tillyn. She pulled the distraught woman into a hug and said softly, “Oh Tillyn, I’m so sorry but we can’t. There’s only one transporter on this ship.”

Tillyn took a deep breath and looked around and as soon as she saw Luckua, she said, “Oh my Dunia, Luckua!”

“Hey,” he said demurely, “You’re okay?”

She patted Millia on her back when she slowly untangled from her physician friend. She sighed and said softly, “Better than the last time you rescued me.”

“But why are you so upset, Tillyn?” Utuck asked softly.

Again, he couldn’t believe his eyes when Tillyn’s pretty face instantly changed. “Aris,” she said with a menacing voice, “Why didn’t you warn me? I specifically asked you to warn me when the rescue party arrived.”

It took a while before her assistant appeared.

Utuck had always been a little jealous that Tillyn had such a sophisticated device at her disposal, but he was utterly shocked when the little device commented, “As I have told you before; it is against the decree to reveal myself.”

“You could have warned me without showing yourself to Marc, Aris. And why did you allow it to happen at that specific moment?”

Its voice sounded almost smug when it replied, “It was the perfect moment to pinpoint your exact position.”

“It was the worst moment to leave Aris! Marc has been supporting me from the beginning, and you just pulled me away before I ever had the chance to thank him and say goodbye!”

Aris’s voice sounded flat when it responded, “All those activities are not allowed according to the standard decree.”

Tillyn gasped and shook her head as she murmured, “You’re dismissed, Aris. I don’t need you anymore.”

Utuck looked at Millia who was as shocked as he.

“Right,” said Luckua and cleared his throat before he said, “I’m going to plot the journey to home. Utuck, I need about a quarter small cycle before we can initiate warp.”

Millia rubbed Tillyn’s arm and asked, “How do you feel? I’m sorry but I can’t revert you back to a Dunian. We actually snuck away on this small ship because Observer Sebo thought it would be better to rescue you after the Sun festival.”

Tillyn scoffed. “How hilarious.”

“Erm, yes,” Millia responded. “Is there anything I should know about since you’re an Earthling?”

Tillyn shook her head while she stepped out of her shoes. “All probes indicated there’s no immediate danger. I think I want to lie down for a while.”

Tillyn felt like fate let her down. She was shocked when she heard that Observer Sebo had the nerve to postpone her rescue until after the Sun festival. It was a contradictory feeling; she was really pleased that her friends took a great risk to rescue her, but she would have loved to be with Marc a few cycles longer, even though she knew their separation would have been much more difficult.

She sighed, wondering how Marc was dealing with the sudden loss of her company. His extremely sad and aghast expression was a horrible image she would never forget.

It was her Aris that had made their separation into a traumatic experience. How on Dunia could her assistant make such a terrible decision? It didn’t make sense to her at all, especially because Marc knew everything. She shuddered a little when she realized that Aris must have seen all her intimate moments with Marc. Perhaps it wasn’t programmed to deal with such situations.

She was worried because she trusted the little machine, and now she had started to doubt its integrity. She needed to find out if it could be trusted before she went on a new mission.

A soft knock sounded. She knew it was Millia, who wanted to check up on her. She smiled as she remembered the many times her friend had come by after her rescue off the horrible planet.

She sat up and pulled at the dress to cover her breasts a little more. She was painfully aware of her dramatic change.

“Come,” she spoke up to overcome the loud warp core’s hum.

“Hi,” said Millia when she walked into the room, carrying a small tray with a steaming mug.

Tillyn smiled and as she patted on the mattress next to her, she said, “Hey.”

The physician carefully sat down and as she handed Tillyn the tray she said, “This will make you feel a little better. It helps you with dealing with the aftereffects of the transport.”

“Thank you,” she responded meekly.

“Do you want to talk?” Millia asked softly.

After she had taken a sip of the warm and spicy drink, Tillyn nodded briefly.

“Your dress. It’s so remarkable. I was in total awe when you arrived. Actually, you blew us away with your, erm, powerful emotions.”

Tillyn chuckled when she remembered the tantrum she had thrown. “Yes, I was a little upset.”

“We all do understand. I assume you were about to join a festivity with Marc?”

Tillyn knew all too well that Millia had trouble to comprehending her emotions and nodded slowly. “It’s just that I couldn’t thank him and say goodbye.”

Millia laid her hand on Tillyn’s arm. “How did he get involved? I mean normally you’re supposed to mingle into their society.”

“I know, but it’s rather difficult to mingle if you materialize on his roof garden, right in front of him.”

“Ah,” Millia said with a chuckle, “and he was so kind to accommodate you.”

Tillyn smiled and sighed deeply when she recalled the event in the swimming pool. “I guess I was lucky this time.”

Millia raised her eyebrows but said nothing.

“We have a lot of things in common. The vegetation, small animals, and Marc could be seen as a Dunian except for his blue eyes and muscular build.”

“I’ve read your detailed reports,” Millia affirmed, “I’m eager to compare your current DNA with ours. We should get an almost complete map except for the anchor points of course.”

Tillyn nodded, while she had conflicted feelings about being reverted to her original body. She knew she would miss the wonderful feeling in her lower stomach and the tingling jolts when her little triangle just above her yoni was stimulated.

She shuddered when she suddenly realized she had to report back to Observer Sebo and visit her father who had been truly concerned when she told him she wanted to resume her exploration. Her conversation with him was quite tense and now she was being rescued by her best friends.

“Who authorized the flight, Millia?”

The physician cleared her throat. “Your father did. You know that Katlynn, Utuck’s sister, is your father’s new assistant, right?”

Tillyn nodded. “I bet Observer Sebo is not happy about all this.”

“I can postpone your meeting with him by telling him you need to be in quarantine before I can revert you.”
