Usually, if I was walking with any other girl, I would have to be the one slowing down so that the girl could keep up. But because the minotaur girl had long, sturdy legs, she could walk even faster than me, so I was the one who had to keep up with her.

“Not at all. I was thinking of escaping far away from my class anyway.” I said, looking behind to see if Lucille was behind me out of fear.
“By the way, I don’t think I know your name.” I looked at her and asked
“Astrid. Astrid Deutschland. A science major from the second year. I apologise for not introducing myself earlier”. She briefly introduced herself, as she walked forward.
“No, it’s fine Miss Astrid.” I shook my head and asked “Can I know the reason you want to talk to me?”
“I think it would be better if I explained it when we reach the classroom. It’s not a topic I would like to discuss in front of so many people.” She looked at the students walking by.
She then glanced at me and said
“And Astrid is fine. You don’t need to add in the miss.”
I nodded, indicating I understood, and quietly walked along with her without asking any more questions.
Along the way, I could see Astrid, the minotaur girl, walking by my side, glancing at me with a peculiar gaze of curiosity, as if she were sizing me up and trying to find out what type of person I am.
But whenever I turned my head in her direction, she would immediately look away, as if she wasn’t looking at me but something else.
She seemed to think that I didn’t notice that she was actually looking at me, and she continued to glance at me from the corner of her eyes as we walked.
