Chapter 17: Is Ugly The New Handsome?

I’ve always been curious about what it feels like to be a student and go to school, since I haven’t ever had the chance. And I thought it was something that I could never find out, since I was clearly over age, when I came back to my parents.

I used to even ask my little sister about school, which she never said positive things about, and described it like it was some kind of hell on Earth, which made me wonder if it was really that way.

But it seems like, I really don’t have to think about it anymore, since I get to experience it myself in this new world, in the body of my past self.

Maybe this is God hearing my doubts, and giving me a chance to find out the answers and experience it myself.

But now that I’m in this world as the protagonist, I wonder when the story will really start off; as in when I will meet the first demi-girl that needs ‘saving’.

I already know that most of the encounters I will have with the girls, will take place in this school, since most of them were all students of this school or were related to the school someway, as said in the guidebook.

This was brought out by the strings of fate that act between us, through the power of ‘Resonance’.

Through it, the girls will naturally be guided towards a central hub, where all the girls with powerful bloodlines, can conveniently meet up with me.

Honestly, the girls wouldn’t even know, that they have problems with themselves, since the consequences of a bloodline will only truly show itself when the bloodline abilities get stronger, as they grow older.

Right now, all the girls should be living normal, peaceful lives, without even noticing that they were different from the rest. Aside from the fact that boys wouldn’t dare to get close to them, and they would always have a feeling of longing, as if there was something out there that was calling towards them.
