As for the infrastructure itself, the school has one main building, which was built like Nobel’s manor in Europe in the 17th century.
Only this manor, they call the primary building, was over 10 stories tall and had a surface area similar to that of a football stadium. It was a humongous megastructure, that was comparable to a few malls combined, and was a piece of architecture that I’ve never seen back on Earth.
The exterior resembled that of a European manor, which was mostly made from red bricks and copper frames supporting it. The outside of the manor, had tall windows all over its exterior, and pointy roofs made from blue tiles and balconies hanging from the sides of the building.
The interior of the building looked very similar to that of a noble’s mansion, with high ceilings, long and elaborate corridors, and beautiful paintings and carvings on the walls and ceiling.
The floor was made with smooth white granite, and the walls and ceiling were made from what seemed to be red oak, which made it look more like a rich man’s mansion, than a school.
Even my classroom looked more like a bedroom that royalty would sleep in, rather than a place where students would study.
There were hundreds of rooms similar to my classroom, all over the building, and the main building also had several halls, an assembly area in the center of the building, and long arching flights of stairs, that connected the several floors.
Although the building’s structure and design looked old and ancient, it possessed all the latest technology a school would need and more.
Like, how there were several lifts all over the buildings, and a ventilation system that provided air conditioning. There were also several other features, that even the best high school buildings don’t have, but I don’t really remember them.
Aside from the hundreds of classroom, there were also specialised rooms for practically teaching the students, faculty rooms, labs, and even club rooms in the building.
The main building was where all the students, no matter what their race, attended all their common classes, and was its main purpose.
Aside from the main building, there were also several other buildings on the campus grounds that were equally amazing as the one I’m in, which I’ll explore later on. Like the cafeteria next to the main building, built around a massive tree that was over 200 metres tall, and surrounded in glass like a greenhouse.
Or the auditorium, which could house over 10000 people, and could even open up it’s ceiling for certain performances.
Overall, the place the school was built on and it’s infrastructure, were enough to prove that it was the number one high school in the world. Not to mention the academic-award-winning faculty that worked here, and the extensive programmes they have towards research, cultural, and extracurricular activities, with budgets that would even make a decent size company, quake in their seats.
Rather than simply calling it a high school, it’s better to call it an institute with world-class facilities and resources, to help nurture the future generation of the continent.
As for how the students were distributed into classes, when there were several different races, and how the education plan works, is actually quite simple to understand and practical.
