Chapter 8

27 July 1866
I had my first successful experiment. Using my mental power I was able to move a vial from the table three feet away from where I was standing to my hand. I started out being able to knock the vial over after weeks of straining and fighting with the idea. Once I found how to take control of the vial I could then roll it across the table which only took a few days to learn. Gaining control over the vial became an instantaneous ability and after a little over a day I finally lift it up off the table.
Less than two months and I now had the ability to move a vial the fact that it only held ½ an ounce and was only 3 ounces in total weight was just the starting point.
16 August 1866
In just twenty days I have increased my mental strength from the vial or what I found to be 5 coins in equal weight to now 15 coins. I can even manage to keep the coins stacked and have started to concentrate on picking them up one at a time then lifting the stack to the ceiling and lowering them back down to the table.
20 August 1866
I have been able to add a coin every other day and currently can lift 17 coins.
1 September 1866
I am now up to 25 coins and can even pick them up while in another room, so far I have been able to move about 30 feet away regardless of anything between me and the coins as long as I know where the coins are I can locate them and lift them.
My potion shop has become so popular that I have had to begin training some women to create the potions. I use women because they are easier to control and I fear giving away the secret to creating my potions. Two women have to work together to create one potion as each only knows half of the formula and process. They have to work together as one does her part and the other continues the next part and this goes back and forth two or three times to complete a potion. This way if someone were to kidnap one of my women she would not be able to create the potion alone. Not knowing which girls work together on what potion kind of ensures a little protection. Kidnapping all or several of my girls would be difficult.
I have also begun working on elemental magic where I am trying to combine the elements with mental energy. The idea of moving something with my mind gave me the idea to try and move or combine elements using my mind.

I was able to combine elements to create gunpowder faster and in a purer form. This I kept to myself as the idea of more powerful gunpowder would be a seriously dangerous idea.
17 November 1866
I made a stunning discovery by chance. I was working with different elements and had collected quite a large amount of various elements on my desk. I was thinking where I could move some of the items. Suddenly the items I had been thinking about vanished. I wondered where they had disappeared too and found they were in my mind. YES, I could sense them in my mind. So I concentrated on one being on the desktop and there it was, I was so shocked by this discovery I fell out of my chair.
26 November 1866
Over the week I had established the control to move things into my mind and back instantly and had developed the ability to move anything about three feet cubed regardless of weight or consistency. I discovered that liquid did not need to be moved in the container, I could pull all the water out of a bucket without having to move the bucket too. The only issue was returning the water if I did not have a container to place it in.
This applied to everything, I could move an item in its container or just the item however this would limit my ability to return said item without a contain available.
29 November 1866
I made another discovery today by chance again. I saw a rat sneaking along the wall and without really thinking about the outcome moved the rat to my mind. Immediately I threw the rat out of my mind shocked I had even thought such a thing. However, I was stunned when the rat ran away appearing to be unharmed. So I quickly tried again with a dog that was outside my window and got the same results. I took quite a while debating on trying this experiment on a person. Curiosity won out and I summoned one of my girls. I had her relax and lie on a couch closing her eyes and focus on being calm and relaxed. I don’t think she even noticed being moved into my mind and back the first time.
The second time I moved her I left her in my mind for a count of 10 and when I returned her she asked what happened as she felt light almost like she was floating for a moment. I said I would explain in a moment and sent her back into my mind leaving her there for about a minute.
This time she was extremely frightened as she again felt as if she was floating but in total darkness. I then explained that I had moved her into my mind and back. She begged me not to punish her like that again pleading that I could do anything else to her but not do that again. I promised never to do it to her again.
I next tried to figure out how much I could move into my mind. I started with a flock of pigeons moving one at a time until I had moved all twenty of the pigeons then returned them with no apparent issue.
I then went looking for a larger target group. I walked out of town and found a small herd of sheep. There appeared to be over 50 and again one at a time I moved a sheep into my mind until I had moved all of them. Once that had been accomplished I returned the entire herd again with no apparent harm to any of them. Then I tried moving the entire herd and was successful.
I then had a thought and returned to my house. I concentrated on the guest bedroom noticing every detail, every item, and thought of a copy of everything. Then I went outside and in the open field returned my copy and without being surprised an exact copy of the bedroom appeared. I sent it back and went looking for a different girl.
Starting in the bedroom I had the girl lay on the bed again instructing her to close her eyes and relax for a moment to focus on meditating for a moment. Once she was relaxed I move just her to my copied bedroom ensuring I had her laying on the bed there just as she was. I only left her there for less than a three count and moved her back. She did not appear to have noticed so I moved her once again this time for a 30 count. I was surprised that she still did not appear to have noticed anything.
So I moved her a third time leaving her there for a couple of minutes. This time when I returned her she said that something about this meditating was gradually increasing her feeling of relaxation. When I asked her to explain in more detail she simply said she was beginning to feel lighter almost like she was floating and that it was a very satisfying feeling and wanted to know if she could continue. I said I would let her meditate for 15 minutes undisturbed to which she thanked me and closed her eyes again.
I did move her back to my copied bedroom and left her there for the 15 minutes. She said that it was truly peaceful and pleasant. I asked what she liked about it. What she told me shocked me even more. She said the room I moved her too was safe, secure, and truly pleasant. I asked why she thought I was moving her. She said there was a loss of pressure and my presence in her mind weakened. I smiled and told her to share this experience with the others but to bring the first girl to me right away so we could explain to her first.
The first girl was actually very pleased to have been chosen first instead of being upset at being the first. Both asked if they could go together which was a benefit to me to see if it would work moving more than one person. I sent them and found I could sense their minds and discovered they were intimate with each other and had begun to enjoy themselves. I left them to it until I sensed they were done before bringing them back several hours later.
30 November 1866
After all my girls were made aware of the copied bedroom I would get requests from one or two girls to be sent there. I finally decided to see how many I could move to this room safely. I began with three and successfully moved all six of my girls to the room leaving them there for an hour before moving them all back and even moved them one at a time there and back successfully. I figured that I could probably move as many people as I needed in an emergency.
1 December 1866
I had the thought of how long I could keep someone in my mind safely. The first girl, I would have to learn their names since I just called them girl or you there whenever I called for one. Yeah, the first girl volunteered to stay over night which would be about nine hours she had no problem at all as she said she just slept as she would have here.
Next I moved two and left them there for fourteen hours sending food, snacks, and drinks. The only issue was the need for a bathroom which they both complained about upon their return only after running for the bathroom once they were back. Everyone laughed except them.
I copied the bathroom and thought to add the sewage line and septic tank too, I also added a water tower and water line connected to the bathroom to provide the needed water supply and a sink with everything it would need to function.
The next test I conducted allowed four girls to stay in the copied area and I would add a new girl and remove one every day for a week. The new girl would bring food, snacks, and drinks with her and the girl leaving would bring all the trash. This confirmed in my mind that I could store a person or people in my mind indefinitely as long as everything they needed to survive was provided.
I would wait on testing this for a while as other things came up.
I stopped reading at this point and wanted to test this possibility myself.
First I concentrated on the house, I focused on the blueprints, architectural design, and all the different furniture and things I could remember. Then I concentrated and created a copy next to the original and went out to look at it. The sudden appearance of the copy caught everyone’s attention. Everyone was surprised and shocked as we walked through the copy. Any detail I forgot, left out, or missed that was pointed out to me I corrected on the spot.
Then after everyone was out I created a space in my mind for the house and moved the copy to my mind. I did focus on linking all the connections like electricity, water, gas, internet, cell service, all the things I could think of and hoped they were connected from my mind to the present. We would discover that for whatever reason it all did work properly.
When I explained what I was doing and why everyone volunteered to be first to move to my mind.
I did a test move and sent everyone to their room with instructions to return to my office mentally. Surprised everyone made their way back depending on how far their room was from my office. Those who were the farthest were made fun of but everyone was excited about this newfound power.
I sent everyone to the copied house and left them there to explore that place and be ready to give me a report. While they were all doing that I got a sudden scared thought from Brenda. She was at work and there were three rude and unpleasant men giving her a hard time. She hadn’t called out to me it was just the intensity of the sudden thought that caught my attention and probably the lack of all the others at this moment. Like I read in the diary once all my people were in my mind I could barely sense them in fact I had to concentrate harder to sense them.
I decided to go see what was going on with Brenda and make an experiment out of it.
I went out to my car focused on the alley next to the diner and found it empty so I tried to move the car three.
I drove around the diner parked got out and walked into the dinner. I had no trouble finding the dickheads and immediately linked to the three troublemakers.
I freaked at what they were thinking.
This chick will be a great addition to the three we have in the van. The mother and daughter look more like twins and the younger one really put up a serious fight we have to be careful with her. If this chick is not a virgin we can have some more fun. Watching the daughter’s face while she watched her mother take on all three of us almost made up for not being able to mess with her.
What the hell, were they human traffickers. I quickly imagined three coffins inside concrete vaults buried 10 feet deep and once I had that created I moved all three of the dickheads there I figured they would last about 1-2 hours at least. I could read their thoughts and question them at my leisure.
Brenda was surprised to see me as she had not seen me walk in and I lied saying I had not seen her when I walked in either. Then she asked where the three misfits disappeared too.
I smiled and said I would explain everything when she got off work. Then ordered lunch.
The three dickheads were screaming bloody murder in my head and no matter how much I tried to block them the fear was so intense I could not block all of their screams and pleas.
I stopped eating and focused on each one sending questions about what they did how they did it and who else was involved. I did let them in on their location at that very moment even though they did not believe me. They did admit they were indeed inside a coffin and could not explain how they ended up in it when they had been in the diner.
I sent the thought to all three that the first to explain everything to me would be allowed out of his coffin.
It only took about five minutes before all three began telling me everything. When they had told me everything they knew I moved them out of the coffin and put them on top of it which I technically kept my promise. The fact that they were still inside the vault and buried 10 feet underground had not changed.
