Shu woke up at dawn. He was cold and alone, as he realized after a quick look around. Ahri was gone. He slowly sat up, wrapped his arms around himself and thought back to his union with her. He would never have thought that it could be like this when man and woman made love.

Yes, sure, of course he knew how to pleasure himself, and that was nice, but even in his wildest imagination, it hadn’t come close to his experiences with Ahri. Apart from the fact that she was not only beautiful, had a flawless body and was very flexible, she had also shown no shyness or coyness. She had touched him as a matter of course, taking his best piece in her hand, kissing him and guiding his hands to show him how to touch her.

Shu put his hands in front of him and looked at his palms. He tried to remember what it was like when he was allowed to touch and lightly knead her full, firm breasts. Even at these thoughts, his little soldier straightened up again.

But where was she? Had she felt an urgent need and gone off into the bushes?

His own full bladder spoke up and forced him to stand up. He relieved himself at a nearby tree and at the same time looked around to see if he could see Ahri anywhere.

But he could neither see them nor, apart from the awakened birds, hear anything. As soon as he had finished, he straightened his robe again and began to walk slowly towards the hut, observing his surroundings very carefully.

Footsteps in the damp grass made him stop. There were two of them, and they seemed to be coming from the direction of the hut.

Curious, he followed the tracks, trying not to make any noise. What did that mean?

After a short time, he came to another clearing, at the edge of which, after a brief moment of surprise, he immediately crouched down in horror. He had found Ahri, but not as he had expected.

She was naked, which would have been a pleasant sight, although she turned her back to him. But on the one hand she was not alone, because she was riding on the equally naked lieutenant with whom she had appeared here yesterday, and on the other hand a tuft of silvery gray hairy tails sprang from her bottom, which seemed to glow in an irritating way. To be more precise, there were seven fox tails, which swung up and down in sync with her ride on the officer’s phallus.

Shu watched the bizarre scene before him in horror. The officer had closed his eyes in pleasure and was breathing heavily, while his lover also gasped slightly in pleasure.

Shu was not stupid. Of course he had heard of Kumihos. They were part of the legends of his people, and every child knew stories about the various demons and spirits of the land. It would also be downright stupid if he didn’t believe in them, because they were real, even if they rarely showed themselves. Withholding toll from a mountain spirit was quite stupid, and other beings also had to be offered a small sacrifice at the relevant shrines if you wanted to be able to follow the path safely. But in contrast to the more everyday spirits, kumihos were considered to be both extremely powerful and dangerous demons. And they could change their form to conceal their true nature, which other demons were usually unable to do.

His mind tried to comprehend what he was seeing with his own eyes. So Ahri was a Kumiho.

With a shudder, Shu realized that just a few hours ago, he had been having fun with this demon in exactly the same way. Or the demon with him.

Almost unconsciously, he touched the sore spot on his chest where he had felt two needle-thin punctures in his half-sleep after the union and later found some scabs. Now a terrible suspicion crept over him: had this demon relieved him of his blood?

As quietly as he could, Shu crept back the way he had come. When he thought he was out of earshot, he began to run to the hut. Once there, he quietly opened the door and looked inside.

His companions were still asleep. For a moment, he wondered whether he should wake them up and tell them what he had discovered.

But would they believe him? And if the legends were true, they would not be able to do anything against this demon.

Shu suddenly realized why Ahri had escaped the Japanese and why the two of them had overpowered their small squad with almost playful ease.

Was the lieutenant also a demon?

Shu shuddered.

He was prepared to fight the Japanese and die if necessary. But he wanted nothing to do with demons!

Determined, he grabbed his things, crept back to the door, closed it quietly from the outside and fled.

He walked aimlessly to the west for a long time, and only when his vision blurred did he realize that he was crying. Exhausted and discouraged, he sank to the ground.

Ahri, he had loved her and she had only used him.

To confirm that he had not imagined or dreamed all this, he opened his robe and looked at the painful wounds. Yes, they were fresh. She had clearly drunk his blood.

His gaze hardened and he stood up again with determination: This devious demon would have his revenge!

Yoshimoto blinked. The sudden light that fell on him blinded him. Nevertheless, he recognized two men.

He had been chained up in the dark belly of the ship for days. Only occasionally had someone come to him and brought him something to eat. Recently, the rocking of the boat had stopped and he assumed that they had arrived in port.

“Get up!” one of the men ordered him in Korean.

Yoshimoto straightened up with difficulty.

The second man stepped forward and released Yoshimoto’s chains from their attachment to the wall. Then they led him up to the deck.

As he got used to the light, he realized that he had been right. They were in a harbor. But he was already being pushed along and led ashore over a plank. He couldn’t see his two friends, Cha-He and Ju-Won, anywhere.

“What’s happening to me?” he asked his companion.

“What’s the matter, you Japanese scum? You’ll be interrogated and then executed!” he replied, with noticeable contempt in his voice.

Yoshimoto had already come to a similar conclusion while he was chained up in the ship. His usefulness to the Koreans seemed limited. But he still had something to offer.

First he was fastened to a wall in the harbor, where a soldier guarded him, who was absolutely unhappy with this. He had obviously been looking forward to going ashore and was now disgruntled at having to spend his valuable free time guarding a Japanese man. But it wasn’t too long before more soldiers arrived and took over Yoshimoto.

These led him through the town to a small fortress.
