Chapter 88: Honeymoon
Science Fantasy Sex Story: Chapter 88: Honeymoon - Three young people represent Earth in a battle with our powerful ancestors who seeded us and terraformed Earth. It is a battle against people who believe Earth has lost its way, and they intend to destroy Earth if it does not comply. They are so far ahead of us that they are Godlike but are biased and irrational and prepared to inflict pain without compunction.

“This is a wonderful resort,” said Atra, “the food is divine, and the views are spectacular.”
Imra nodded.
David grinned. “You could have your wedding here.”
“How do you know that is what we were thinking?” Messa asked.
“That is why he brought you here,” said Dorel.
“I think we should start investing here,” said Imra.
“We have started, dear,” said Atra, smirking.
“No, you didn’t,” said Imra.
“Yes, she did. After dinner, she sneaked off to speak to the owners,” said Brendan. “I saw her smile of triumph when she returned a few hours later.”
“Attie, is that why you brought along your lawyers?” Dridget asked.
“The place appealed to me before we even saw it. I knew David would choose somewhere unique. I entered negotiations with the owners a month ago. As our businesses cannot do business here, I bought it for Sarah and Siobhan. They are in business with us. It’s a gift. I’m just sorry our fathers can’t see this gorgeous place, David,” said Atra with a tear.
“I can’t believe how much has happened since we met,” said Imra. “I would have never imagined marrying a man from a primitive society.”
“Brendan never had the feel of a primitive,” said Dorel. “David, Brendan, and Ashlyn felt like how I think of the Brainiac.”
David raised his eyebrows.
“I knew you guys were much further ahead than us. Dhorrie, you were a great queen and ruled trillions of beings. Your thinking felt profoundly different, yet I had such a good feeling about you. I trusted you but not the leaders of the Paradigm.”
“You had good reason not to trust the Paradigm,” said Atra. “You guys had horrific experiences with the Paradigm Councilors.”
“At least we understand why and had you guys to help. The delegates might want to unseat us now that the war has subsided,” said David. “They may consider the threat is no longer so acute and may want to return to how it was in the past.”
“Some might have transient thoughts of unseating you,” said Atra. “According to Adaobi and Tamerlan, you are in an unassailable position and will remain in place for thousands of years. After the media publicity following the wedding, those who oppose you will be terrified to try to unseat you. The media believe you are Gods or, at the very least, close friends of gods. Yes, there is debate about who your guests were, David, but the consensus is they are way ahead of the Agglomeration. The media interviewed the Super AIs of the Agglomeration Conventicle and the new Agglomeration Chancellor. They independently said they know of beings much older than themselves who changed to live in states they cannot even comprehend.”
“What did Emerlund tell the media?” David asked.
“Emerlund told them she is from the Yemturah and the earliest galaxies. They work on improving the Universe, but other forces oppose them. She said there are other ancient peoples with whom they work. They exist in a form that can survive for billions of years. We cannot see them unless they reveal themselves. She confirmed they helped the Strefonis early in their evolution. She spoke with them for what they believed was an hour. Emerlund said the people we talk to through the Pearls are not directly known to her, but her people know about them,” said Imra.
“Did anyone ask her why she chose us?” Brendan asked.
“Emerlund told them she did not choose us; we chose her to guide us, and we were previously known to her. She then laughed and disappeared,” said Atra. “Many identified two Pearls as great people from the Catholic Church and a chief rabbi of the Orthodox Jewish religion. It sewed considerable confusion.”
“The Earth media must have had a field day with all that!” Brendan exclaimed.
“Yes, the Pearl group stirred up enormous controversy on Earth, much more so than Emerlund. Some stated this was proof of heaven as your mentors were alive; others are convinced the Gods visited us. A group from India stated it proves they were right all along, and there are many Gods on different levels. They have ancient paintings that they believe are paintings of Emerlund and the Pearl group,” said Imra.
“What were the gifts Emerlund gave you?” Atra asked.
“She gave us some amazing jewels, but she told me she left gifts for all of us in the safe here,” said Ashlyn. “I forgot until you reminded me, Attie.”
“I’ll ask the manager to retrieve them,” said Brendan, striding to the door.
