Chapter 87: Back Home
Science Fantasy Sex Story: Chapter 87: Back Home - Three young people represent Earth in a battle with our powerful ancestors who seeded us and terraformed Earth. It is a battle against people who believe Earth has lost its way, and they intend to destroy Earth if it does not comply. They are so far ahead of us that they are Godlike but are biased and irrational and prepared to inflict pain without compunction.

“How did the meetings with world leaders go today?” Asked Siobhan Murphy at dinner.
“They were frightened and tentative at first, but the facilitator from the Agglomeration was amazing. She is a three-meter-high dinosaur with a riveting presence,” said Ashlyn. “The facilitator takes them back to the Agglomeration to attend an advanced politics seminar. She wants them to understand how societies evolve in more detail.”
“I can imagine the scene vividly,” said Sarah Cohen, smiling and nodding. “A terrifying tyrannosaurus rex teaching politics—can I pass anyone some more chopped liver, gefilte fish, or latkes?”
“I missed your food, Sarah, since we’ve been away,” said Brendan, shoveling chopped liver onto his plate. “Could you please pass me the plate of Latkes?”
Sarah smiled and passed Brendan the plate.
“Dorel, would you like some more salad?” Sarah asked.
Dorel shook her head and smiled. “No thanks, Sarah, I am too nervous to eat. What time does Makuto get here?”
David looked at his watch. “She will be here in about half an hour. She decided to shop for her dress in Vorgaruhm.”
“I wanted something traditional from here,” said Ashlyn. “I never imagined coordinating my dress with two other women.”
“Did you decide if you will allow the media to be present?” Siobhan asked.
“We invited a team from Earth and another from the Paradigm. Security will be tight, and the venue is not readily accessible,” said David.
“Buddha made quite an impression,” said Sarah.
“He spellbound me,” said Siobhan, passing around the brisket. “He has a unique presence and knows how to inspire an audience.”
“I felt that way about him when we met him for the first time,” said Brendan. “Jesus was impressive different but bitter about Earth. I also offered him the opportunity to return with us. He pleaded a prior commitment he could not change. We’re taking a group of ex-church leaders, including the pope, to meet him in the Paradigm.”
“How did Buddha and the Dalai Lama get on?” Sarah asked.
“They became close friends quickly. I am not surprised. Buddha will take him back to the Paradigm to join his group. They are setting up to research the latest version of the Development Program we are implementing,” said Brendan, looking at his watch. “It is time for bed; we have a busy day tomorrow.”
“Some of us are waiting up for Makuto. She dropped into our solar system five minutes ago,” said David.
The torrential rain outside the force field stopped, and the last ominous black clouds moved towards the horizon. The sun burned brightly but dimmed as a blocking screen raced up the force field and to the top. The guests included David’s friends and family, Ashlyn and Sarah, and many prominent politicians from Earth, the Paradigm, and Agglomeration. Several hundred XaX queens were also present. The guests sat in boat seats, baskets, and chairs.
Buddha made his way onto the stage and held up his hand briefly before speaking.
“I welcome all of the guests from near and far to this sacred occasion: the marriage of David Cohen to Ashlyn Murphy, Makuto Kambi, and Dorel Brista.”
Buddha smiled and looked at the audience. “This is the first time anyone has asked me to marry them for ages. I thank the Dalai Lama for his help in planning the ceremony.”
The audience tittered. Several of the group from Earth laughed out loud.
White petals rose from ancient vases and swirled around David and his prospective wives. A tiny media drone maneuvered to hover over David but spun to the ground microseconds later.
“I have met David on several occasions. He has impressed me with his humility, compassion, and intelligence. He has surpassed most masters in his development and has a level of maturity and judgment few attain. I have recently discovered that he is related to ancients I had never heard of. His future wives are women of great inner beauty, intelligence, and ability, and they complement him well. Dorel was previously the Supreme Queen of the XaX, and Makuto Kambi was a previously maligned leader in the Paradigm. She rediscovered what we lost and was punished for it. Ashlyn is young, but she has achieved more in her short life than many in thousands of lifetimes. Her accomplishments are well-known to most of you. She, too, has profound powers but wields them with finesse.”
Buddha sipped on a glass of water; he held it up telekinetically. “This is a holy place which was once an inland sea. Soon, it will again be a lake, and much later, it will once again join with the sea. I can feel the mother of brainiacs, the caretaker, in this place. She wishes you all well and looks forward to working with the people of this planet. She says she has the highest regard for David, Brendan, and Ashlyn. Her originator is alive and well and sends her respects and best wishes for this occasion.”
Colossal, roiling white clouds appeared and circled the shield. Seconds later, forked lightning pounded the ground, and thunder rumbled continuously.
Buddha raised his arm to the heavens.
The next moment, the sun returned, and the clouds were nowhere to be seen.
The crowd returned their attention to the ceremony.
“If you were wondering, that was not my doing,” said Buddha.
The crowd laughed and applauded.
