Chapter 85: Rescue
Science Fantasy Sex Story: Chapter 85: Rescue - Three young people represent Earth in a battle with our powerful ancestors who seeded us and terraformed Earth. It is a battle against people who believe Earth has lost its way, and they intend to destroy Earth if it does not comply. They are so far ahead of us that they are Godlike but are biased and irrational and prepared to inflict pain without compunction.

Ten minutes later, alarms blared. A marine Colonel slithered into the room in full armor. ‘Elder, an Agglomeration fleet has surrounded us. They demand our surrender.’
The Elder looked at David. ‘They took longer than I expected’–he turned to the Colonel–’I will speak to them.’
‘David Cohen, please accept our unconditional surrender to the Paradigm.’
‘Thank you, Elder, I accept your surrender,’ said David, grinning.
The Elder leaned over the table to touch the holo-projector. A giant hologram formed, showing Adm. Fleitnaz Tuidlaal standing on the bridge. ‘Dr. Seessell Scelesstessness, I never once suspected you led the Strefonis cult. I always considered you an honorable man.’
‘Adm. Fleitnaz Tuidlaal, I have always considered you one of the outstanding rising talents in the Agglomeration. We have unconditionally surrendered to David Cohen of the Paradigm. He overcame the Overlord who enthralled us and will present our case to our Council.’
In the background, David saw Ashlyn beaming. She winked at David. Brendan was sitting with his mouth open.
The Elder beckoned to David. David rose from his chair and stood next to him.
‘Adm. Tuidlaal, I would appreciate your assistance taking temporary custody of this ship and its crew. Could you accompany this ship to the Paradigm, where we will incarcerate the Spees Slang Syndicate leaders and crew pending further discussions with the Agglomeration?’ David requested.
The Admiral stood with her mouth wide open for several seconds before she nodded.
An hour later, David returned to the battleship. After greeting the Admiral, Ashlyn joined him in their stateroom. ‘David, I am so sorry for my tantrum after telling me about the white lady. I was upset and also jealous that she had left me out. I was desperately worried while you were away.’
‘Ash, I would have felt the same. I understand. Can we continue in a few minutes? I stink and want to use the refresher and change my clothing. Then we can make out a while before we talk some more. Then I must chat to the Admiral. This capture belongs to her. She deserves full kudos for cleaning up the Spees Slang Syndicate. The Elder only surrendered because she and her fleet were there.’
David undressed and performed his ablutions before kissing Ashlyn. He delayed dressing until their reunion had concluded. They removed the bed coverings and returned to the refresher together before dressing in fresh clothes.
“I feel a little more relaxed,” said David grinning.
“I feel mellow; I wouldn’t mind having a long nap,” said Ashlyn, her face glowing.
“Let’s meet with the Admiral; then I can relax.”
“Yes, bring me back here so you can make sure I’m also laid-back again and again,” said Ashlyn, smiling broadly.
David smiled, shook his head, and beckoned as he made for the door.
Ashlyn looked at her watch. “It’s time for lunch. Fleitnaz will be in the canteen. We’ll join her once she’s eaten. Her mother sent her a package of food from home. It came in a stasis crate. She proudly showed me the crate and the food inside. Her family cultivates the tissue in their factory. They are the biggest food producers in the Zonruna.”
“What is the tissue from?”
“It is from a snake the size of a blue whale on their original homeward. It’s now extinct. They ferment the tissue for five years before they eat it. The Admiral eats it raw.” Ashlyn wrinkled up her nose. “The lumps of flesh smell horrific. I had to run out and vomit the first time I smelt it. We will steer clear until she is done and has picked her teeth.”
They strolled to the canteen holding hands.
“The buffet looks good. We’ll take a while to choose our food.”
David turned and waved to the Admiral. “Ash, her plate is piled high with food. It will take her at least thirty seconds to eat it.”
Ashlyn snorted, then laughed. The pair meandered past the buffet tables, carefully choosing a selection of cooked foods and fresh salads. “I arranged for one of our chefs to join us.”
“Terrific idea. I wondered why some of the food looked so familiar. There are also a lot more of our people here than before.”
“Our senior staff joined us. We’ve had a lot of work to catch up on while you were away.”
David opened his mouth wide and slid out his tongue. “Yech!”
“The press also found us. Bren and I reassured our people on several occasions. I packaged up some of our encounters so the public could see what we faced and did. They also showed the clips in the Agglomeration. Then, the Agglomeration reporters arrived. It’s been a sequence of circuses. Things are slowly settling and getting back to normal. Three of our delegates are always with us, and the Conclave is back in action in a temporary building. The Colloquium is a shambles, as is the old Council building. The Drunduh and the Gnituruta messed up our infrastructure. The enemy also damaged our SuperAI. We replaced her and are reconstituting her and her memories. Our capital is a mess. We’ve decided to dig much deeper as the XaX does. We have a huge cavern three thousand meters down. It was an ancient water cistern but is now empty.”
David slowly nodded, then turned. “Let’s join the Admiral. Brendan has just walked in.”
Brendan strode over to them before they reached the Admiral’s table. He and David hugged. “David, welcome back. I can’t wait to hear what happened.”
“Grab a plate of food. The Admiral is almost done picking her teeth, so you don’t need to delay,” said David, chuckling.
“I know exactly what I want. I’ll catch up with you both in a minute or so. Don’t start; I don’t want to miss anything.”
David grinned and followed Ashlyn to join the Admiral.
‘Ah, David, you are looking fresher and more relaxed. Undoubtedly, Ashlyn was of some help in that regard,’ observed the Admiral and laughed. It sounded to David like someone chasing after and hitting a leather bag with a baseball bat. Her breath was foul. Ashlyn wrinkled her nose.
‘Brendan is on his way over here. David, once he sits down, you can tell us the story.’ The Admiral sprayed something in her mouth. ‘That fish was delicious. It is an acquired taste. I will give you a piece to taste next time we eat together, David.’
‘Thank you. I think I’ll pass,’ said David.
The Admiral laughed uproariously.
David nodded as Brendan marched to the table and sat at the end. “Right, David, now’s the time to spill the beans.”
David smiled. ‘I dreamed of the woman in white we had previously seen. She previously helped us navigate when we transported ourselves to meet the Agglomeration. She told me I was not dreaming and pinched me. She showed me my body resting next to Ashlyn.’
‘Did you ask her name and find out what she was?’ Ashlyn asked.
‘Yes, I did. It’s Emerlund, and she is one of the Yemturah, which is the name of our people. She told me the time was not auspicious to tell us more about the Yemturah and where we could find them. She told me I was to make myself available to be kidnapped by a woman who I must later kill. There was also another being I must kill, but she would not be more specific. Emerlund said it would be obvious. I asked if I could bring anyone else, and she told me I could tell Ashlyn, but I could not invite anyone. That was all she said,’ David added. ‘No, there was one more thing. She told me I would know when to leave the bridge to make myself available for capture.’
David told the others, step by step, what happened.
