Chapter 69: The Last of the Sugigoth?
Science Fantasy Sex Story: Chapter 69: The Last of the Sugigoth? - Three young people represent Earth in a battle with our powerful ancestors who seeded us and terraformed Earth. It is a battle against people who believe Earth has lost its way, and they intend to destroy Earth if it does not comply. They are so far ahead of us that they are Godlike but are biased and irrational and prepared to inflict pain without compunction.

“I wanted to talk to you all,” said Brendan, speaking to the thousands of XaXlets.
“Our father, our king,” chanted the XaXlets.
“You performed well in the battle. We pay homage to the fifty-six of you who died. We captured two enemy ships, and you helped us overcome the Overseer who infested your grandmother. Your grandmother can now rest in peace knowing her grandchildren saved her and gave her an honorable death. Shortly, we will engage the final Sugigoth ship in battle. We will rely on your help and your skills. King David will explain what we will do,” said Brendan.
“Our father, our king,” chanted the XaXlets.
David explained what he wanted them to do.
Dorel sent them to bed.
“How did the kings and workers do?” David asked.
“The workers are more independent than our usual workers. The kings did, as did the queens. This is a radically different new generation of XaX,” said Dorel. “The kings are big and strong.”
“This was predicted?” Brendan asked with raised eyebrows.
“Yes, many prophesies talk of the great difference made by the blessed ones. The differences are profound. The ceremony you attended extended right around the planet. Tens of thousands of males and even more females from your military participated. They fertilized tens of thousands of our queens and most of your females in XaX form,” said Messa. “We supported them after the ceremony and offered workers to help with the egg-laying and XaXlet upbringing.”
“The Admiral accepted this?”
“Yes, she is preoccupied with winning the war; however, that may be achieved. She discovered she likes having the ability to change at will. She is naturally suspicious. Still, I believe she increasingly trusts and likes the XaX,” said Dorel. “We are crewing ships together, and that works well. Initially, there was much tension, but each found the skills and abilities of the other.”
“Did we lose many on the Sugigoth ship?”
“We lost fifty-seven XaXlets and four hundred Dulmeliv, our ancient relatives. On the other ship, we lost three thousand Dulmeliv. The XaXlets, like us, are immune to the weapons of the Sugigoth. The XaXlets that died were crushed, colliding with Sugigoth or falling Sugigoth. Many injured themselves as they did not grip the Sugigoth firmly. We and our offspring are highly effective killing machines.”
“Did Makuto warn anyone ahead of time about the ceremony?”
“Makuto discussed the ceremony with our doctors and with me. Our scientists ensured the psychedelics were safe for us. She knew they were safe for those in the Paradigm. They have run ceremonies like that one for as long as they have been with us. For her people, it was not an issue. We trusted her, and I knew we were locked in a prophecy. Her people use psychedelics routinely and have done so even before coming here as refugees. For them, the doses provided were low. She had the best of intentions. After the event, she was mortified and apologized to Adm. Oluchi, Adm. Orjee, and their team of doctors. We explained we observed the effect in Makuto’s people, and we knew our seers predicted the event,” said Dorel.
“Surely those involved in the ceremony were distressed?” Ashlyn asked.
“They were less distressed than you might think. My sister showed Yodera Oluchi and Udo Orjee our predictions after the event and how we finally knew what they meant. Once we returned, everyone calmed down as they recognized the import of what happened,” Dorel added. “Adm. Udo Orjee has great respect for your group.”
“I must speak to my mentor through the Pearl,” said Brendan. “I want to ask about our skills and the transdim DNA. I will make sure we see Makuto before we go back.”
“I thought you were to hold the Pearls?” Dorel asked.
“We wanted them to remain safe while we moved around. It also gives us a reason to visit,” said David.
“David, you can meet your son and your XaXlets. I’m sorry. I wasn’t supposed to say anything; it was supposed to be a surprise,” said Ashlyn.
“The surprises keep coming,” said Brendan. “I want to check if my mother carries the extra genes. We can check your mother also.”
David nodded. “It would help us learn if we always had the genes or acquired them later.”
“That is not the case. Our DNA may have activated after we left Earth or even sometime later. Perhaps we received them on the seeding and cultivation ship. We may have caught them in contact with our supervisors on Earth. I also don’t know how much contact is needed before another person catches our genes,” said Ashlyn. “Will others spread the genes?”
David turned to Brendan. “I want to change the subject and ask you a question I have asked several times recently: Do you pray daily?”
“Yes, I do pray every day. I can’t reconcile what we have learned with the sense of peace I get when I pray. I feel as much in contact with God as I ever did, maybe even more. I now pray in plain language, which is more like a conversation. I feel something in return. It is subtle, but I feel it,” said Brendan. “What about you?”
“I pray every day, and I feel the contact with God just as much as I ever did. What about you, Ash?”
“I pray occasionally. I talk more often to my Neruk since I have it back. I can’t believe I was ever such a passionate Catholic. It seems foreign and bizarre.”
“I can see how man has manipulated religion on Earth,” said David. “So many want to believe they have a unique handle on God. Orthodox Judaism was even more rigid than Catholicism. I liked the culture and the ceremonies but could never return to how I was. I can’t imagine how I believed what I did.”
“There are so many beings who fulfill the criteria of what a God could be,” said Brendan, “but none amongst the ones we know choose to play Gods to others. I don’t even want to know more about this God I pray to. I was disappointed to discover we formed radically different religions after contact with the Paradigm. The more I think about religion, the more bizarre and primitive they seem to be.”
“Corruption lies deep within the psyche of so many beings,” said Ashlyn. “I’ve lost the feeling which was so much part of me. I am a Catholic, and David is Jewish no longer has a meaning.”
David kissed Ashlyn on the cheek.
“We never developed religions. The Brainiac emphasized it was an educational source connected to advanced beings,” said Dorel.
“May I change the subject? I want to deal with this overseer,” said Ashlyn. “We know what the guards do to defend the overseers. Next time, let’s develop a way to prevent the Sugigoth from dislodging me while I efficiently suck the Overseer dry.”
“I will bring us out of the tramonic space near your specified location. You can then point us in the correct direction,” said Keresen.
‘I received a report,’ said Keresen, entering the canteen. ‘The Gnituruta pulled back their ships to defend the populated planets. When we overwhelmed them and attacked the planets, they tried to load up ships with their people and flee. Few escaped, and those that did carry tags. We will find them.’
