Chapter 65: Anayees Parnok
Science Fantasy Sex Story: Chapter 65: Anayees Parnok - Three young people represent Earth in a battle with our powerful ancestors who seeded us and terraformed Earth. It is a battle against people who believe Earth has lost its way, and they intend to destroy Earth if it does not comply. They are so far ahead of us that they are Godlike but are biased and irrational and prepared to inflict pain without compunction.

“We must assume the underworld beings will be ready for us,” said Ashlyn in the hospital waiting room the following morning.
“Is there any point in us going with you? We can’t create a body. We saw what happened but didn’t do anything,” said Kreia.
“You are as we are when we go through, purely a telepathic presence,” said Keresen. “They can go through the evil one in Anayees to the source. We’ve never seen it done before. You must use your telepathic assault skills to help them as much as possible. I will be with you. They are as if they enter another world as themselves.”
“I will bring Parnok out of stasis,” said Kreia and fiddled with the holographic controls.
Keresen turned to Ashlyn. “Ashlyn, you are correct; they will be ready and waiting. Why do you refer to the underworld?”
“It is part of the mythology of our planet; the good goes to a place called heaven, which you go upwards. You follow a white light after you die. They sit with God, listen to a celestial choir, and move around on clouds. If you are evil, you go to a place called hell, which is in the underworld. The place we saw was as I imagined the underworld,” Ashlyn grinned.
“When we first met, you told the Council about your background, Brendan, and David’s. What is your current opinion about the existence of a god or gods?” Keresen asked.
“Many different beings we have met could qualify as gods but choose not to play gods,” said Brendan. “You guys are way ahead of us, and if you appeared on Earth, you could make billions believe you are gods. Since I have met the advanced and ancients, I am less and less sure on one level about what a god is, but on another, I still pray and talk to god as I always did. What has changed is my beliefs about religion.”
“What has changed for you, Bren?” Ashlyn asked.
“Our religions on Earth were largely rigid, bigoted, and dominated by power-grabbing people. They were inflexible and unshifting. I shudder to think how much utter garbage I accepted as gospel,” said Brendan.
“I am much like Brendan. I split myself into two, and concurrently, I believe, two different things from what he does. Yet, I pray as I did and find comfort in it. However, I now have another pressing question. Who are we? We have unique genetic coding in another dimension. We died and became something no one can explain. Yesterday, we did something you haven’t seen before, Keresen. It was another manifestation of ourselves. Who or what are we?” David asked.
‘Our people are equally curious. In our terms, you are not yet an adult, but show mature judgment. Brendan, you have an intrinsic understanding of high-level politics, as do you all. David, you demonstrate the skills of a wise admiral. In a fight, you fight together as if you trained together for years,’ said Keresen. ‘Ashlyn, I sense a great healer in you, but a combat healer.’
‘We played computer games together for many years,” said David. “In many, we fought together. We know how each of us thinks and how we will behave—lots of games involve strategy. Brendan gained political skills from his mentor. His mentor is one of those who communicate through the Pearls. My mentor from Earth also communicates through the Pearls. We’ll introduce you to the Pearl people when we get back.’
‘Have you asked them about your ability to create forms that fit unusual environments?’ Keresen asked.
‘No, we haven’t,’ said Brendan.
‘One last question before we begin. Have you learned to fight as a XaX?’
‘Dorel has been teaching us,’ said Brendan. ‘We can squirt acid and sting with our tails.’
‘Can you create the XaX form when you leave your body?’ Keresen asked.
‘Let me try it now,’ said Ashlyn, reclining her chair.
After a few moments, Ashlyn emerged as an XaX and pulled out her weapons. She changed back to her humanoid shape. ‘I want to try a dragon. I couldn’t do it previously.’
‘Dammit, I can’t think how to do it.’
‘Take your time,’ said Keresen.
Ashlyn scrunched up her face and hunched her shoulders. As she relaxed, she turned into a dragon, roared, and belched out a flame, singing the floor covering and burning a chair. Ashlyn returned to her body and sat on her chair.
‘What has been burning in here?’ Asked Kreia as she walked through the door wearing her doctor’s yellow scrubs.
‘It was a dragon,’ said Ashlyn.
‘That is a likely tale,’ Kreia scoffed.
‘She speaks the truth,’ said Keresen. ‘Ashlyn left her body as I suggested and emerged as an XaX. She reverted to her original bipedal body, became a dragon, and spat out a flame.
Kreia looked at Keresen, frowned, and then shook her head. ‘Follow me; Parnok is hard to rouse and is agitated. She will regain consciousness during the next five minutes.’
The group followed Kreia next door, where Silicaa was waiting next to a medical bed. ‘Anayees is mumbling incoherently. As she was thrashing around, I put her in restraints. She then erected a solid telepathic barrier.’
Silicaa moved to her couch and eased her bulky form onto it.
Brendan looked around the group. ‘Prepare yourselves and stick tightly to me ... Now let’s go.’
Brendan felt the telepathic barrier and looked for faults and weak spots. It was far from the most effective defensive obstacle he encountered. He levered open a weak point and led the others in. Brendan looked for Anayees’ telepathic controls, knocked them out, and led them further. There were two black, wispy smoke beings. “I’ll knock out the one on the right, and we’ll go in through the one on the left.”
Brendan felt David with him as he probed the one on the right. They attacked together. Brendan now knew precisely where to hit it.
He must’ve learned much more than expected from the previous day’s encounter! Yesterday was mostly instinct.
Brendan felt more robust and more confident. ‘David, Ashlyn, you must suck out the essence from one of the beings. I reaped something from that monster yesterday. Let’s do as we did on the ship. Jump, drain, jump, drain if there are many of them. Also, think of area attacks; I know the underworld beings are setting a trap. I can feel it in my bones!’
‘Come, let’s go through the other,’ said David. “Thank you for holding it, guys.”
They attacked together and dived into and through the creature, closely followed by Brendan and Ashlyn. Brendan felt Kreia, Silicaa, and Keresen behind him.
‘I dreamed of this white construct last night. It is as I saw it,’ said David, looking at a white column. ‘It reflects the energy and uses our strengths against us. Put up your shields. Let me show you.’
‘David, before doing that, I want to see if we can jump,’ said Ashlyn. ‘I don’t want to try when confronted by the enemy for the first time.’
Ashlyn jumped across the room.
‘Excellent, that was a great idea. Now I want to show you how this trap works.’ David sent a weak, narrow beam at a wall, which reflected it at him. It hit his shield and faded. ‘In my dream, I saw a multi-level dungeon, just like the games.’
