Chapter 54: Makuto Kambi
Science Fantasy Sex Story: Chapter 54: Makuto Kambi - Three young people represent Earth in a battle with our powerful ancestors who seeded us and terraformed Earth. It is a battle against people who believe Earth has lost its way, and they intend to destroy Earth if it does not comply. They are so far ahead of us that they are Godlike but are biased and irrational and prepared to inflict pain without compunction.

“Before I introduce my next witness, I want to suggest the bare bones of a plan. This is a plan based on our information and utilizes our combined abilities. It may provide a viable framework for moving ahead,” said Brendan.
No one interrupted.
“We have a limited opportunity to send the XaX virus to the Drunduh. Send the virus into the fleet we know about and delay its release for six months. You have a timer to release the virus or use a communications-linked trigger. The Drunduh will hunt again before they leave. If they had sufficient food, they would have already left. We should also add virus dispensers to the remaining cargo ships. We must also decide whether to reduce their number before they go. I am ambivalent, but our priority is to spread the virus as widely as possible. Let’s modify ships quickly. We should use the cloaking method of Celani Farkrana, use her concepts, and fit ships with the new weapons and modified shields. Send them to scout the enemy galaxy and spread the virus if they delay the release for six months. While they are here, follow the enemy and make sure we tag them.”
“That is all very well, but how can we trigger the virus to kill the Drunduh?” Asked Ambar Nayan.
“My next witness may be able to help,” said Brendan.
Ambar Nayan shook her head. “I can’t imagine any way it could be done.”
Brendan smiled.
“Tomorrow, we begin developing a new generation of shields, cloaks, and weapons. We must connect all our creative and manufacturing people to the Brainiacs. We can do it easily via the broadcast holo-media. Our medical scientists must develop at least one or more new viruses that we can use on the Drunduh. We must have more to hit them if we don’t get them all. We may only get half of them the first time around. The Drunduh doctors may also find a way to combat the virus if we don’t get all the bastards in one hit.”
“We also know we don’t kill them all with the virus. The XaX landed on every Drunduh planet to kill the stragglers. We must increase our fleets to defend ourselves at home and clean up the Drunduh on the other side. Some will get back here, of course. There is much more to discuss, but we must first speak to the next witness,” said Brendan, nodding to the young Queen acting as a messenger.
Makuto Kambi walked into the room dressed in black, her shoulders bare. Her red hair cascaded in waves down to her waist. She looked like a thirty-year-old woman. Like Imra, she was a big woman, but Brendan thought she was one of the most attractive women he had ever seen.
“Brendan, stop drooling,” Makuto said out of the side of her mouth as she stood near him at the second podium.
The audience roared with laughter.
Brendan was mortified.
Makuto looked at the audience. “I can see you, Tamerlan. It would have been more than a dalliance had you been prepared to commit. You had a roving eye, always waiting for the next pretty and brainy young thing.”
Once again, the audience roared.
“I guess he hasn’t changed!”
Tamerlan went a bright red.
“Yes, Brendan, I will tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. That’s how I am. The Supreme Queen permitted me to see and hear the proceedings. Adaobi and Tame did an excellent job of correcting history. Neither knew I was here. I am sure you want to know what happened?”
Many in the audience nodded.
“The previous Councilors gave a balanced account of the history in which they played a part. When the Paradigm fleets struck, the admiral leading the convoy created a diversion to create an opportunity, so some of us could escape. She sent a small fleet to escort us and protect our backs. I escaped with a group of some of our best people and encountered the XaX. The ambush fleets killed the rest. I acknowledge the great minds of Ashlyn, David, and Brendan. We never did find a way to communicate satisfactorily with the XaX.”
Makuto looked intently at her audience. She canted her head to acknowledge the Queen.
“Nevertheless, the XaX was terrific and gave us a planet to establish ourselves. We met with the Supreme Queen and her entourage every few years. We established a cordial relationship despite poor communication.”
The audience laughed.
“A few years later, when mining an asteroid, we found three pearls deep within. We encountered several advanced beings who instructed us to build a massive device through these pearls. This device would help save us, the XaX, and the Paradigm.
“As instructed, we built the device on a derelict planet. It is an enormously powerful transgalactic broadcast transmitter, requiring as much power as several planets. Brendan asked if the planet rotates. It barely rotates. We can, however, control where it points if necessary. If necessary, we can move the entire planet elsewhere. We can trigger the virus, but we must plan how we deal with multiple planets that rotate differently. Some will never face us. Some planets are obscured by others or by other astronomical bodies.”
