Chapter 35: War with the Drunduh
Science Fantasy Sex Story: Chapter 35: War with the Drunduh - Three young people represent Earth in a battle with our powerful ancestors who seeded us and terraformed Earth. It is a battle against people who believe Earth has lost its way, and they intend to destroy Earth if it does not comply. “Wakey, wakey, rise and shine, it’s a lovely day here in the Warhouse. Today’s weather will be the same as yesterday. Overnight, the XaX fleets moved to engage the Drunduh. The predatory Drunduh invaded planets, consumed many of the population, and abducted others. Many who survived the attack experienced a devastating post-traumatic shock, and others were transformed into a zombie state, never to recover. Today, the XaX will have their revenge. Your reporter will keep you informed of every development in this conflict.”
“Piss off, David; I hate cheery assholes in the morning. I am exhausted. I want to sleep,” said Ashlyn, opening one eye.
“The Supreme Queen requests your attendance at her table in fifteen minutes. Sleep in, and you will face her wrath.”
Ashlyn sat up, rubbed her eyes, and climbed out of the sleeping boat. “I had a wonderful sleep last night. Can’t the Queen postpone the war until a reasonable hour? Our tour finished after midnight, and we have only seen a twentieth of this monstrosity.”
David mumbled half to himself. “I need a proper wash, not this rub down with a wet cloth without soap washes. I never thought I would miss the Paradigm in any way at any time. Maybe I only miss the washer and the clothier. We should suggest they try clothes. The XaX are warm-blooded and must get cold.”
“Hurry, slowcoach, our friendly guide, awaits us.”
The XaX Liaison Queen chirruped a friendly greeting, leading them to eat with the Queen.
“Supreme Queen, when does the war begin?” Ashlyn asked after they finished.
“Five minutes after we spoke, our ships entered Drunduh space while cloaked. We commenced the assault at midnight. We will talk after breakfast; I wish to learn more from you while you are with us.”
“Have you had much resistance?” David asked.
“No, they do not see us. We transport nanobots into the Drunduh ships, and they paralyze the enemy warship and kill the Drunduh. We send cloaked dispersal spheres to the planets to do the same. We know where they are, and we prepared for the time they forced us to assault them. We changed course yesterday. We will exterminate them all. We’ve known we must, but we resisted for too long.”
The Queen rose from her boat chair and beckoned to the troika to follow her. When they were seated, she continued. I do not expect much resistance. We will finish most of it within a week.”
The Queen beckoned to a worker and sipped from a wide mug. “We made smaller mugs for you. They will be more comfortable,” she said, waving to waiting workers. They delivered smaller cups of sweet juice to the three.
“Ashlyn, your idea intrigued our doctors. They can do as you requested, but they want to test the concept fully before we offer the conversion to you. We think it is an outstanding notion.”
“Supreme Queen, do you make AIs that work with you?”
“Yes, we make large worker-like AIs to work in space on asteroids and shipyards. We have plenty of workers to do the work.”
“Do you use them in administration?” Brendan asked.
“Only for limited tasks. Our Queens work linked together to operate seamlessly and effectively. How does it work in the Paradigm?”
