Chapter 24: The Councilor Can’t Rest
Science Fantasy Sex Story: Chapter 24: The Councilor Can’t Rest - Three young people represent Earth in a battle with our powerful ancestors who seeded us and terraformed Earth. It is a battle against people who believe Earth has lost its way, and they intend to destroy Earth if it does not comply. Brendan woke groggy and wooly. Someone was banging on his door, so he staggered and opened it.
Four of Councilor Parnok’s bruisers shoved their way into the room. “Get dressed; the Councilor wants to speak with you.”
“It’s 4:30, and I am tired. Surely, we can meet at a more normal hour.”
“You are a bold piece of shit. Who do you think you are? If the Councilor wants to see you, you immediately obey her wishes. She slapped Brendan’s face. “Now move it.”
Brendan walked to his suitcase and found something clean.
“You fool, stop wasting time, use the clothier.
“What is that?”
“You primitive fool, stop playing dumb; you are leaning on it.”
“Sgt. Ennid, I don’t think he knows how to use it. Shall I show him?”
Sgt. Uchu Ennid sighed and nodded her head.
Cpl. Dhomni Yolpho showed Brendan how to use the clothier.
“Thank you. I wish I had known about it when I arrived. I need to wash and brush my teeth. Will I be finished in time for the gym?”
Sgt. Ennid shrugged. “The Councilor didn’t say. She is in a foul mood, so watch your big fat mouth.”
Brendan surreptitiously picked up his cube and stuck it in his pocket.
Sgt. Ennid pushed him unceremoniously out the door. “We don’t have all day. Now move it.”
Brendan shrugged off her hand and strode next to her.
“How is the Councilor doing?”
“She is improving too slowly, in my opinion. She is a lousy patient. She makes everyone’s life a misery. She got some news she didn’t expect last night and was unhappy. When she isn’t happy, nobody is happy. She woke at three in a foul mood. She ate some breakfast and then vomited. She worked herself into a rage and then told us to get you.”
“I’ll help cheer her up.”
Uchu Ennid looked at Brendan and squinted, canted her head to the side, and stuck out her tongue to the side.
“Fat chance, she is more likely to cut off your head. She thinks you are crazy dangerous, and you are not her favorite person. Say as little as you can and be apologetic.”
Brendan nodded once.
All too soon, they were at the door of the Councilor. The sergeant knocked on the door, opened it, and pushed Brendan inside ahead of her.
The Counselor was sitting upright in bed, supported by several ornate cushions. She was wearing a plush gown with flower-decorated pajamas beneath. She was a fine-looking, sophisticated, and elegant woman.
“What do you have to say for yourself? How do you explain yourself and your despicable conduct?”
“Councilor, I am sorry for what happened to you. I hope you recover quickly and completely.”
“You are also an unmitigated liar. I shouldn’t be surprised. I am talking about yesterday, you primitive.”
“I don’t understand.”
“Yes, you do. What did you do yesterday?”
“Yesterday, Prof. Shohsukit asked me to introduce one of the investigators to Brainiac. Then I met with a group of doctors and engineers.”
“You then admit to your criminal actions?”
“I don’t know what you are referring to, Councilor.”
“You are a poor excuse for a living being. What did you do to inconvenience me deliberately?”
“Nothing that I am aware of. Can you tell me?”
“Your despicable conduct has brought you favorable attention from the Council, and they intend to reward you. You avoided my punishment, and your sneaky actions remind me of your underhand behavior and seditious intent.”
“I am sorry I inconvenienced you. I did not intend to do so. If I could, I would take it back. What can I do to improve it and chase your problem away?”
“I could kill you, but that will be inconvenient while I am here. I feel awful, and that is because of your nasty little group of plotters and planners. Seka was to prove you fools, but you used her. She is naïve, and you manipulated her. I will not be humiliated by you. I will punish you as you deserve.”
“Councilor, is this wise? The device may backfire again. Let me do it for you,” said Sgt. Uchu Ennid.
