Prologue

So, after the events of Heather’s graduation party, she moved on to the University life. It turns out she graduated top of her class and was going to study pre-med - she even had a full scholarship to boot! Not gonna lie, neither Jess nor I had any clue she was crazy smart. Guess we were too busy getting used by her (and her friends) to watch Jeopardy with her.

Anyway, about two months into her first semester, Heather invited Jess and me to visit her and spend a little time “catching up.” We knew full well what that was code for and were fully game for it. What we weren’t expecting was her insistence on her driving down to pick us up. Her school was only about a two hour drive (one way) so it’s not like it was a major inconvenience for her, but Jess and I both have cars so it wasn’t clear why she’d insist on making extra trips herself. But we would find out soon after the trip began.
