Chapter 33
Coming of Age Sex Story: Chapter 33 - This is the second book in the Wrinkle in Time Trilogy. It is a stand-alone book with an all-new cast that embraces getting a second chance, a do-over. Fortunately, this time, Xander had a cheat: life experience. I’d become the old man who no longer gave a fuck about others’ opinions. The problem was that by the time I learned this, I died … or so I thought. I found myself thrown back in time to do it all over again. Could I get it right this time?

Xander drove home after school, worried that he hadn’t handled the Donnie situation correctly. Something in the back of his mind told him he should’ve put Donnie down. But then he would have that on his conscience for the rest of his life. And if he got caught...?
Xander fell asleep as he tried to figure out what to do next. In his past life, he’d found that if he slept on something, be it a problem at work or in his personal life, he would dream about the solution. When he woke, he would quickly jot it down so he wouldn’t lose any of the details.
At first, Xander felt like he was having one of those dreams where he ‘woke’ within a dream. He’d read somewhere that this type of dream was called a hypnagogic hallucination. Unlike problem-solving dreams, these so-called hallucinations were vivid experiences; they felt real in every sense, including visual, hearing, taste, and physical sensations.
In his past life, he had these dreams every now and then, starting in his sixties, and they always involved waking up and not knowing what was going on. It was almost like he had amnesia or, more frightening, Alzheimer’s.
In the dreams, he was much younger. For example, after a lecture in college, as the class filed out, he realized he had no idea how to get home or what to do next. The dreams would go on for what seemed like hours or days as he hunted for his car or dorm room. In the meantime, all kinds of stuff would happen, some erotic in nature, others involving violence.
They had one thing in common: they were unsettling.
So when he fell into that state, he looked around with a touch of trepidation. Xander found himself on his bed, but as he scanned the room, he saw himself sitting at his desk, looking sad. It was obvious this other self was in awful shape: blood dripped down both hands, and it appeared he’d slit his wrists.
“You fucked up today,” Bloody Xander said.
“What’s going on?” Xander asked.
“I guess I should explain a little. I’m you in the future you just created.”
Xander closed his eyes and thought, ’Settle down. This can’t be real.’
“It is real,” Bloody Xander said.
Surprised, his eyes popped open. ’Can he read my mind?’
“I’m you; I know how you think. Just accept it for now because I only get one chance to impart a message to you, and it’s important,” Bloody Xander said.
’What do I have to lose?’
“Your life if you don’t listen,” Bloody Xander said, looking dead serious.
“Stop that,” Xander complained.
“Let me give you the broad strokes to bring you up to speed. You were allowed to repeat your life to make it better than the last one. Part of that was to save your sister from her fate of dying much too young. A bonus would be to prevent her from marrying the idiot who gets her pregnant. Better yet, to get her to wait to meet the right guy; that, and having a big family, will make her very happy.
“You with me on that?” Bloody Xander asked.
“That sounds good,” Xander said.
“Well, none of that can happen if you’re dead. I should know because I’m you a little over six months from now because of what you did today.”
“I kill myself? Why?” Xander asked.
“No, not exactly.”
“But—” Xander began, but was cut off.
“Let me explain: Donnie kills you.”
Xander’s head flopped back onto his pillow as he absorbed that.
“Before you fly off the handle, this happens after your Fall Fling dance, and you never see it coming,” Bloody Xander said.
“Tell me,” Xander said.
Bloody Xander reflected on that night as he launched into his tale.
“Pam and I were paired as the junior class representatives for the Fall Fling court. She was smoking hot, by the way; at some point, you need to look that up again.
“As you probably guessed, Julie was our date, and we had a good time. After the dance, we went to an after-party where Donnie showed up with Carol,” Bloody Xander said.
“He always had a thing for her,” Xander said. “Had he kept his word about taking advantage of girls to that point?”
“He had, and that’s why I let my guard down. If you remember, Donnie wasn’t always a complete Chad. There was a reason we were friends with him,” Bloody Xander said.
“You’re right. I remember he was the one who took me to the county fair, where they had a tent with naked girls,” Xander said.
Bloody Xander laughed.
“Remember the one that smoked a cigarette with her hoo-ha? That was extra.”
“Nah, but it would’ve been epic if she’d blown smoke rings with it,” Xander said.
They both chuckled at that.
“So, where was I? Oh yeah, my guard was down, and he wasn’t acting like a total tool, so Julie and I hung out with them at the party. I don’t know who suggested it, but the house we were at was small and packed, so we decided to go to Julie’s place. There, it wouldn’t be so hot or loud.
“The unspoken idea was we could go somewhere to make out,” Bloody Xander said.
“I can’t imagine Carol going along with that,” Xander said.
“I agree. She’d never shown any interest in any guy until that point. Remember when you asked her out and she flat-out turned you down?
“I think she was cherry until she got to college,” Bloody Xander said.
They were quiet for a moment as they reminisced about everything, then Bloody Xander continued his tale.
“When we got to Julie’s, we went to the lower level. She put on some music and pulled me into the center of the room, where we slow-danced, and Carol and Donnie joined us. You can probably imagine that without adult supervision, liberties were taken.
“Donnie must have been going too fast because Carol told him to stop whatever he was doing. He looked flushed and said he’d get everyone something to drink. We continued to dance while Carol watched from the couch.
“When Donnie came back, he handed out bottles of water. Looking back, that was probably how he drugged us. I remember feeling funny, so Julie and I sat on the couch with Carol.
“Donnie made a big show of asking Julie for a dance, which she agreed to, leaving me alone with Carol,” Bloody Xander said.
“You didn’t notice anything was off at that point?”
“I wish I did, but as I said, I wasn’t on guard around Donnie anymore. I mean, it had been a good half a year since we filmed his confession and fought him.
“But this was when things got strange,” Bloody Xander said.
“That doesn’t sound good,” Xander said.
