The rest of the year was what Xander believed some famous dead guy once called a ‘clusterfuck.’

Stephanie used him as her personal bull while she was visiting. He made up for the lack of sex over the past few months during that four-day weekend. The foundations, plumbing rough-ins, and exterior framing of his dad’s three houses were complete. Grandpa’s architect, Max Klien, reworked his dad’s plans to maximize functionality, modernize, and increase livable space.

Making changes meant getting the plans approved by the building department, which was in full holiday mode. Xander’s grandfather guessed it would be mid-January before they even looked at them, meaning construction was on hold until then.

While he recovered from his time with Stephanie, Xander was also over the whole foursome idea because they never seemed to find a time and place for it. Tina became focused on finals and claimed not to have time even to date. Then Bobby’s family left for a ski trip, and just as they returned, Tina was off to Florida on a vacation with her parents.

When school restarted in January, Xander was thinking of pulling the plug on dating Tina since they hadn’t spent time together in nearly two months.

On his fifteenth birthday, Xander decided to update his stats. When he first started checking—at the start of his last year in middle school—he’d been five-four and weighed one hundred eight pounds. Xander was now six-two and weighed one hundred seventy-two pounds. He still looked skinny, but most of his weight gain was muscle.

Xander had gotten an electric shaver with a beard trimmer attachment for Christmas. He used it to tidy up his pubes and shave his balls. He aimed to gain muscle mass in the coming spring and summer to handle playing varsity football as a running back. He also wanted to work on his speed, so he planned to go out for track.

At the end of January, the planets aligned, and Tina announced at lunch that she and Connie had worked out the logistics of the foursome. “You aren’t Xander’s date?” his mom asked.

“No, I’m dating Bobby Shelby. Xander’s going out with Tina Bishop,” Connie said.

“I’m confused about why Xander is dating your class’s smartest person,” Izzy commented, clearly puzzled.

“I’m hoping some of her smartness rubs off on me,” Xander interrupted. “Now, can you let us go so I don’t look dumb by being late?”

“You two stay out of trouble,” was his mom’s parting shot.

When they entered the car, Connie asked, “Did you bring extra condoms?”

“I did.”

Xander wasn’t impressed that she couldn’t count on Bobby to get any beforehand. Somehow, the freshman in the group was the responsible one.

Connie smiled and patted him on the head. This new move of hers was getting on his last nerve. She all but called him a ‘good boy’ but refrained when he raised an eyebrow.

Their next stop was to pick up Bobby. Xander wasn’t thrilled when Connie ordered him into the back seat so her ‘boyfriend’ could sit beside her. From what Bobby told him, he was getting less action than Xander was with Tina.

When Xander’s overexcited teammate jumped into the car, he turned to look at Xander and smiled.

“I got my first blowjob last night when Connie taught Tina how to suck cock.”

“Good for you,” Xander said.

Connie nervously looked at him in the rearview mirror. She could see the smile on Xander’s face, but it didn’t reach his eyes. When they got to Tina’s house, Connie told Bobby, “Go on in. I need to talk to Xander for a moment.”
