I stretched and found both women were still asleep. Trying not to wake them I moved toward the foot of the bed and just as I climbed out they both sat up and asked where I was going. Laughing I said bathroom to use the toilet and then shower.

The two ornery stinkers jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom. I followed and laughed when I found they were on toilets peeing. I used a third since we had three then moved to start the shower. However, the women asked me to show them how the tub worked. As I had mentioned it last night while in the shower.

We ended up taking a 30 minute bath together, admittedly there was more touching and fondling than washing but we did manage to get clean.

Once dried, dressed, and moving to the kitchen area I was instructed to sit and watch to make sure they did everything correctly. Nala started coffee as Tila began to cook bacon. When Nala had the coffee brewing she got juice for the three of us. Tila had the bacon cooking and asked how I wanted my eggs cooked. I asked if she knew how to make an omelet.

Both Nala and Tila asked what an omelet was, I began to explain and as I listed different ingredients that could be put into an omelet. Nala gathered what items we had available as Tila finished cooking the bacon. Both quickly chopped up what items we had and Nala mixed the eggs while Tila prepared the skillet. Tila cooked each of us an omelet and the first one was served to me with plenty of bacon to go with the juice and coffee that was now ready.

Nala sat down with her own omelet, bacon (less that I had), juice, and coffee and began to eat.

Tila was quick to join us with her own omelet, bacon (more than Nala), juice, and coffee trying to catch up to both Nala and me on eating.

They quickly cleaned up breakfast, they found the tea I had made and asked about it. I explained what it was and that we could put it into the cold box (refrigerator) where it would last for several days and be a good refreshing drink. Shrugging their shoulders Tila put the tea into the cold box then asked if I would get saplings for them to make the stretching rack for the tiger skin.

I said that there was something else we needed to do while we were getting saplings.

They both asked what else we needed to do and I told them I needed to show them how to use the special weapons the spirits left us. They were both shocked to hear this and asked what else they were getting other than the items they already had.

I said it would be easier to show them as I explained how it was used so they could see what I was explaining.

This brought on a rapid in a hurry mentality from both as they now wanted to get started.

We moved to the wall as the cabinet doors swung open. I took out my belt with both pistols and knives putting it on and adjusting the holsters and belt. The women saw their belt and all the items from yesterday. The new item a pistol (just the one) in a holster but it was not attached to the belt yet, it needed to be determined if they were right-handed (most likely) or left-handed and where the holster would be most comfortably drawn (high on hip/cross draw/thigh/shoulder) I would explain the different ways the pistol could be carried and would let them try each to find the one most comfortable for them.

I also explained that SAFETY was the MOST Important thing we would be learning. They both nodded their understanding.

We took the door to the right which led to the meadow and barn area. This would be large enough for pistol training and practice. I noticed there were three horses, a stallion, and two mares along with what looked like four or five mules.

When we got closer I noticed there were several animals. Two mares, a stallion, one male mule, two female mules and two female donkeys. You get a mule from breeding a male horse with female donkeys. We would be able to breed both mares and both donkeys.

I could see the obvious shooting lane to the side of the barn. This would use the barn to protect the animals as we practiced our shooting.

We found a cabinet door open on the outside of the barn and inside were target stands and targets that fit into holes in the ground about 20 feet away. Setting up three stands with targets, I selected the dartboard circle style for this first lesson. Tila found an extending small tables the folded up into a compact package like a small toolbox about 18” x 8” x 8” and when setup was about 35” tall with a tabletop 14” x 8” which was perfect for a shooting stand to hold extra ammo and your pistol when you were not shooting.

The first thing I noticed was the women’s hands were not as large as mine and were having difficulty getting a good grip on the pistol. Both women were in fact right-handed and surprisingly fairly accurate with their left hand as well, not as good as I was with both of mine.

They both were almost as good with their right hands as I was with my left. They were able to hit the target 4 out of 10 shots the first time and after explaining sighting a little better by their third set of 10 were able to hit the target all 10 times.

I wanted them to work on getting their groupings to inside a 4” circle since they were already hitting inside the 12” target circle.

We also went over the different holsters trying to find the most comfortable and easy to draw from. Tila was the one who asked if the holster could not be put just under her breasts slightly to the left not as a shoulder holster and higher than a cross draw holster. I webbing harness appeared in the cabinet and was adjustable to fit around the women’s ribs just under their breasts and had straps running up the outside of their breasts and over their shoulders to the backside of the rib belt.

This suspender looking rig actually was very comfortable and allowed both women to draw accurately almost as fast as I could since they were almost already at the shooting height when their pistol was drawn and I had to bring mine from outside my thigh up to the shooting height.

I thought if the barrel were 2” shorter and the grip smaller they would be perfect. Another cabinet door opened next to the first and inside were several pistols in different sizes. The first one had half the barrel length of mine and ½” narrower which made it more like a compact, concealable pistol instead of the full size combat pistols I currently had. The second pistol’s barrel was only 2” long and just slightly over ½” wide.

The women took one of each and tried them out, I was not surprised to see both women now consistently shooting 8-9 out of 10 inside a 6” circle. They would get better with practice but the smaller grip made a huge difference. Both were super excited and found the shorter barrel thinner frame fit much better in the bib holster they were wearing.

The only drawback was the smaller grip meant they had to use a different propellant magazine and would now only get 10 rounds before having to reload. If they needed more than that it probably wouldn’t matter. I had discovered while demonstrating that my pistol fired 25 times before I had to reload. I also found that the girls pistol fired an 8 mm projectile and mine fired a 10 mm projectile.

It was time for lunch, actually it was a little late for lunch but we put things away and returned to the kitchen area to make and eat lunch. The women reminded me that we had not gathered saplings to stretch the tiger skin and that needed to be done right away. So after cleaning up our lunch we checked our gear and headed out the front exit.

We went straight to the tree line and began looking for saplings that would work for the stretching rack. I took out the folding saw from my daypack and quickly cut several saplings as the women trimmed the branches and leaves off with their knives. The growl of the wolves was a shock to all three of us but without any serious thought we all just drew a pistol and shot a wolf.

Excitedly the women told me to cut several more saplings for stretching racks for these new skins they were in the process of gathering. I just shook my head cutting another dozen saplings and stripped the branches and leaves since the women were busy with the wolves.

I used the saplings lashed together to make a temporary travois to carry the wolf skins and brains as we went back to the cave.

The women were just as fast and efficient dealing with the wolf skins and had the tiger skin and had all three wolf skins on stretching racks by the time I had sneaky like cooked dinner. I only got stern looks with crossed arms when they found dinner was cooked and ready. I explained that we were a team and that if anyone not occupied by a task were supposed to help the others who were busy. The both begrudgingly accepted this fact. However I was sternly warned that cooking was their job and if busy I could assist them with the task they were working on so one could prepare the meal. I wisely agreed.

Bath not a shower before bed and since there was little to no hanky-panky in the tub I was used and abused in bed by both. I must admit I tried to give as much as I got. We all drifted off to sleep tangled in a mass of arms, legs, and bodies.

Tila was the first to wake and had to move both of us to get out of bed in order to relieve her bladder. I was right behind her or rather beside her at the toilets emptying my own bladder that was close to overfilled. Nala came running in obviously upset we had left her alone in bed and also having a very full bladder.

We did not bother with a shower or bath just dressed and went for breakfast. I introduced instant oatmeal and toast. Both women truly enjoyed the instant oatmeal and loved the fact that it could be made so fast and still be so delicious.

I found a coffee thermos and added it to the outside of my daypack along with powdered fixings. After gathering our stuff from the cabinets we went to the barn area and gathered the horses. Today will be riding lessons.

The first thing was getting everyone to know each other. I had them each pick a mare as I took the stallion. Then they had to give the mare a name as I called the stallion ‘Blackie’ obviously due to him being entirely black in color including his eyes, mane, and tail hair. The two mares were slightly smaller than the stallion, Blackie was about 16 hands and each of the mares were about 14 hands. Tila picked the buckskin mare since the mane and tail hair coloring was close to her hair color, really close. Nala selected the brown quarter horse with a darker mane and tail hair that was close to her own color but not as close a match as Tila’s.

Tila named her mare ‘Sand’ claiming that was what her color looked like. Nala named her mare ‘Shadow’ saying that is what she looked like.

We put halters on the horses and led them around for a while just talking to them and letting them get used to us.

Then we put saddles on them and walked them around to get used to the saddles. The women were excited to start riding but I explained the importance of taking it slow. We unsaddled the horses and let them graze while we had lunch and the women made sure it was a very quick lunch. When we had cleaned up, caught the horses, and saddled them it was time to mount up.

I was surprised we didn’t have any trouble with the horses. After riding around the meadow for a while I decided it was time to go for a ride and see what was around our cave.

I had the thought of bringing a mule in case we shot something for meat, I mentioned this and both women said to bring all the animals in case we did not get back right away. They also said we should start gathering meat for the coming winter. They also pointed out that we could preserve meat much easier with our cave. They were referring to the large freezer and smaller freezer on the large refrigerator.

I got the mules and donkey haltered and put pack saddles on the mules. They were calm, carefree, and easy to lead.

We departed out the large exit from the meadow and had to decide which way to go.

I suggested continuing around the ridge to the left Tila said that we should go back the way we had walked down from the plateau so we could gather from the area as it had lots of good things. We had gone up and down the way I had done when we got the tiger items. So riding the long way Tila and I had walked was good for Nala to understand what we had done when she was first hurt.

Up at the area where they had been gathering the bodies of the two men were mostly gone from different scavengers. I saw a moose/elk not sure what to call it as it was bigger than either and the antlers were more of a combination of both. I asked if it was good to eat and both were just nodding their head YES. I swung the rifle up to my shoulder and sighted in on the animal, fired and watch it drop. I had hit in high in the neck just below the skull. It was a perfect kill shot. When I turned to ask the women what we should do now I smiled as they both were stunned with their mouths open and eyes wide.

Then they quickly rode to the animal pulling the mules along. I took out an emergency blanket and opened it out on the ground to give them a place to put the parts as they skinned, gutted, and began to cut up the animal to make it easier to carry. It only took an hour to process the animal and cutting up a second emergency blanket to wrap the meat to make it easier to pack on a mule. Then I watch over both as they started to gather vegetables and other spices. We were about to mount up when the mules and horses became excited. I began to turn slowly scanning the area around us when the tiger charged. I quickly fired and missed but it was enough to stop the tiger’s charge. I fired a second shot and did hit the tiger this time but it did not kill it. I had to fire a third time to finish the tiger off. This one was a female and might have been the mate to the first tiger. The fangs were slightly smaller or shorter at maybe 6”-7”. Once again the hide, teeth, claws and brain were gathered and rolled up in the hide.

It took half the time to ride back as it had taken to walk.
