Chapter 8
Action/Adventure Sex Story: Chapter 8 - The world has become a bad place for the weak and a dangerous place for the strong. After the collapse, people were forming communities for self protection; but there was still a strong element of self-reliance needed. Finn was a hunter - perhaps killer for hire would be more accurate. Some were becoming successful and needed to remove competition, others wanted to punish those who wronged them. The rights and wrongs weren't Finn's problem.

A day or two later, there was a knock on the door or at the side since the door was not solid enough to bang with confidence. “Hello.” A man stood there, all the people inside immediately identified him variously as ‘hunter’, ‘slaver’, ‘fucking bastard’, and worse. They all amounted to the same thing. “I understood you collected a boy and a girl from IconFord?”
“What’s it to you, not wishing to seem rude.”
“No, entirely understood. Their family owes my client money. I’m looking to collect.”
“They haven’t any money with them.”
“No, that’s what I thought. Then I’ll take them – I’ll pay a reward. Is that her?” he was looking at Toma “She’ll fetch a good price, more if she is still clear, but I’m guessing that she isn’t?” Finn stayed silent. “Well, I can check later. Or maybe she can pay some of the debt that way to me.”
“Look, no offence, but -”
“Here are the receipts.” he had a sheaf of receipts. Yes, so he probably wasn’t lying.
Finn considered, the girls clustered together a little more, was he going to pass the girl over to him; it was hardly his fight after all. He hadn’t said she could stay, and he had had her sex so she had less value to him now. He looked up at the man – he was good looking, smooth, well fed. Clearly doing well at his business. But then catching girls wasn’t so physically hard was it? “Well now, the thing is, perhaps I wanted the price? No, I don’t think I’ll sell. Sorry.” He guessed that one of the families who had taken over were looking to clean up the problems, or maybe it was someone looking to recoup losses. Either way...
“That could be a mistake.”
“Yup, could be. But then I have a pointier here, so perhaps you should feel lucky and leave with both lungs?”
The man laughed. “Okay, I’m going. I just thought I’d ask.” The subtext they all know was ‘just thought I’d ask before I took’.
“FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!” He looked at the girl.
“Sorry! What have I done?”
“Not your fault, s’alright. We have to leave.”
“Why? You think he’ll come back? Can’t you deal with him?” Maddy asked.
“That was Lone Wolf. Stupid name, particularly since he never comes alone. He’s got a pack of manky idiots. He’ll come back. We don’t want to be here. Can I deal with him? Maybe, only maybe. I’ve seen what he can do, and heard. With his gang off their heads on lodore, they would tackle a pack of wolves with no fear; and probably win. Pack!!”
“Give me up. I’d understand. I’ll go after him.” Toma said.
“Not your choice, remember? I own you now. You opted to come to me. Now you’re mine. I won’t give you up. Never.”
It almost sounded like a pretty, romantic speech, but he meant that he was a professional. He didn’t hand over anything. “You can keep the money if it’s just me he wants.”
“Toma, why are you not packing! He’ll be back and he will kill and, ... well, he’ll kill me. Probably sell all of you females ... Anyway Abrigail and Somyae are expecting my kids – you think I didn’t notice you’d missed the blood? I see things. Come on. I’ll go get some horses. Maddy! Come!”
Maddy and he strode off. Out of the others hearing, he said. “If this goes tits up, just run. I’d understand. I don’t want you being fucked up the arse by a horse for their entertainment.”
“A horse!?”
“Yeah, only a small one, but still. I saw a couple of women after he’d been through. Someone told me why they were so ripped up at the back. Algy – I want my horse. And four others. And don’t ask any fucking questions that I’d have to kill you for.”
Even with the danger, Finn still haggled. Not to have argued over the price would have shown just how keen he was to leave.
Then they made their way back. “I’ve never ridden a horse.” said Maddy. “Neither has Somyae. I don’t think Mum will have done.”
“Nothing to it. It’ll wear your cunt to the bone, but that can’t be helped, sit on a folded blanket.”
Back at the hut, they were packing and talking. “He seems scared. I’ve never seen him scared.” Abrigail said.
“No, he’s just done what he always does. Weighed up the odds. He’d lose. The difference is he is taking us – oh hello. Horses!”
“Yes, we’ll each need a folded up blanket to sit on.” Maddy said confidently, like she knew this all along.
“Maddy the expert eh?” He smiled at her. “And yes, the difference is I’m taking you all with me. Damned if I know why.” It was true, not that long ago the best they could have hoped for would be to be cast adrift to fend for themselves. The worst would have been that he bought his freedom with their bodies. Now he was risking himself for them or partly for them, or something. He wasn’t sure.
