Mind Control Sex Story: Chapter 9 - Karl was surprised to learn he had inherited property in a small town in the mountains. It seemed like an opportunity to start over... but almost immediately strange occurrences began to happen. Karl could feel himself changing, and women were treating him differently. Karl barely slept that night. He was trapped, reliving the same dream over and over again. The room within that black void. The huge bed with the blood-red sheets. Women, writhing and tiredly moaning. Beckoning to him. Exhausted smiles on their faces, their hair hanging lank with sweat.

Just like the last time that Karl had dreamt it, the scene both aroused and repelled him. He could feel his body reacting — a strange sensation as he knew he was asleep. Karl had been drawn to the bed, and he had eyed the tangle of smooth limbs entwined together with a burning desire. In the strange nature of dreams, Karl knew he could join them. That these women — gorgeous, tired creatures that he could almost recognise — would willingly spread their legs for him, reaching up with their arms and pulling him to them. But ... something was off about it all. It was like there was a bell ringing in the back of Karl’s head, warning him of danger.

It had taken a monumental effort, but Karl had turned his back on the tempting scene. As he dreamt, his feet felt like leaden weights as he walked away. Every step was a herculean effort, and it seemed like it took forever for him to cross that room, to reach the exit. Just before he left it behind, Karl had taken one last look over his shoulder. To his shock, there was suddenly someone there, between Karl and that bed. It was the woman from the picture he had found. The woman that had been watching him on his first day in Bracken Ridge.

Karl had felt his dream slipping, beginning to spin away. He couldn’t look away from that woman as all else faded. She stared, her gaze burning as she looked at him. Then, her eyes widened — as if in alarm. Her mouth had moved, and she had shouted something, although Karl hadn’t heard a thing.

And then he had woken up.

Karl groaned as he sat up in the bed. He was covered in sweat and his skin felt clammy, even though the room was quite warm. Karl knuckled his forehead, suppressing a wince. His head was pounding. Besides him, Jessica slept soundly. He’d actually left her alone long enough the night before that she’d managed to get dressed into her pyjamas before bed for once. She was wearing a cute, low-cut singlet top with a pair of tiny cotton shorts. Jessica was sprawled on her back, one arm curled above her head, her blonde hair haloing out around her on the pillow.

Even with his growing headache, Karl felt a swell of lust as he looked down at his sleeping girlfriend. It was very tempting to just roll over, covering her body with his own, settling himself down between her thighs. Karl could already picture the look on Jessica’s face as she blinked herself awake, her eyes widening as she realised that he was poised to enter her.

Karl got up quickly, a surge of something like nausea filling him. Where had that come from? It was like lately all he could think of was sex. He crossed the room, digging through the chest of drawers for some clothes. Karl wasn’t trying to be quiet, but his girlfriend barely stirred. Once dressed, Karl walked down the stairs, his footsteps heavy. Trying to get his head on straight.

He could still barely believed what had happened the day before. What he had done, how he had acted with Amanda. With her husband in the house no less! It didn’t matter that she had been blatantly coming onto him, Jamie seemed like a nice guy — Karl couldn’t do that to him.

“No. I’m not ... like that...”

Karl’s voice was soft as he spoke. If only it didn’t seem like he was trying to convince himself.

Karl felt a surge of mortification as he remembered more details. He’d even implied that he would be back! That he and Amanda would be able to ‘discuss’ things better then. Which was about as subtle as a punch to the face.

“But ... she did agree to it. Or was she only saying that to just get rid of me?”

If Amanda complained, or told her husband, where would Karl be? He would certainly kiss this job opportunity goodbye. And on his first day! That would certainly muck everything up.

“I couldn’t stay up here in Bracken Ridge without that job. I’d have to sell, or at least rent this place out. Hell, that would make Jess happy at least. But it would be such a waste...”

This town, this cabin, called to him in ways that Karl found it hard to quantify. He didn’t want to lose that.

If only he could stop acting like some kind of sex-starved maniac! Karl didn’t even have the excuse that he was hard up for sex — Jess had been putting out more than she ever had in their entire relationship! In fact, the way that she’d been acting was —

“ ... I was worried about Jess the other day. Wasn’t I? Yeah, a few days back. Like I was being too forceful with her. She even left for the day without telling me. Huh. But I ... forgot?”

Karl shook his head, trying to think. He’d been worried at the time, like really worried. But that night he completely forgot about it. It had slipped his mind, seeming unimportant. And then...

“Fuck. Then someone tried to run me over. Why did I not freak out about that? Why haven’t I gone to the cops, or filed a report — or anything!”

Karl slumped into a chair in the kitchen. His head was pounding even worse, and he wondered if Jess had any aspirin somewhere. It was so hard to concentrate. The weird thing about the car nearly hitting him was that Karl had barely given it a moments thought since. It was another thing that seemed unimportant. Too hard and too pointless to think about when instead he could be having —

“— sex. And it’s not just Jess, is it? I mean, so many woman have been all over me since I got here.”

Karl got up and poured himself a glass of water. He wasn’t full of himself — he was a reasonably good looking guy, tall and fit. But two women flirting with him so blatantly, one of them married, well ... there was something to that. And Jess — his girlfriend had fucked him over and over, almost anytime he even looked at her.

It was enough to make Karl think that there really was something going on. He didn’t know why he thought of it, but all the insane things that the old man, Jasper, had been saying popped into Karl’s head. There was no such thing as the supernatural — that was obvious. Wasn’t it?

“Those dreams have been pretty fucked as well. I mean, where has that all come from? It’s not like I’ve been reading or watching anything that would make me dream about —”

Karl’s head throbbed even harder, and he clutched at his hair. The dreams — he’d forgotten about them too. Pretty much as soon as he’d left the cabin the first time he dreamt it. Was it possible that there really was something ... weird, going on?

And that picture he had found of that woman. Karl had hidden it in his bag, not wanting Jessica to find it. What was a photo of her doing in his uncle’s cabin to begin with? And he had dreamt about her as well. Although that at least could be explained away by it just being in his subconscious to begin with. But the fact that she had been there, in his dream, amongst all that dark and fucked up shit ... for some reason, Karl felt it meant something.

But that was crazy. Karl scoffed to himself, shaking his head derisively.

“God, there really must be something wrong with me if I’m entertaining the thought that — what? Jasper is right, the cabin is cursed, and it’s somehow making women throw themselves at me?”

It was ludicrous. And even if it wasn’t, a curse that did that didn’t sound so bad. Of course, Karl was probably just conflating the two concepts. A crazy old man’s ravings, and women being all over him, didn’t have to be linked. But why did the idea speak to Karl so much?
