Chapter 25
Erotica Sex Story: Chapter 25 - It’s been over a year since the events of “Aiden Ascending” and no further attempts have been made to seize the ring from Aiden. They haven’t forgotten about it though and send a new minion to try once more. When his true father arrives to warn him, his world becomes far more complex. More powers are in play, and Aiden must protect those who love him while seeking a showdown.

Under the warm afternoon sun, Aiden sat on a park bench. A light breeze mitigated the humidity, and only a few beads of sweat prickled at his hairline. The gentle gusts also sent ripples over the dark waters of a lake as children, fresh from school, frolicked on its distant shore. Ducks and geese did slow whirls or paddled across the surface.
Snug on his finger, the ring still felt ... different. With a sigh, he glanced down at the simple gold circle. On its surface glimmered a delicate filigree of wispy flames. Eva had selected both it and the partner she wore.
He held in a chuckle; the young beauty had orchestrated the wedding as if she’d been planning her entire life. To give her credit, she was sensitive to Kim’s lingering shadow. After enough of his late-wife’s smiles had appeared, he’d told her to do whatever made her heart sing. Bless her sexy, impish, driven soul, she had.
Filthy Sophie was maid-of-honor. Everyone, including the statuesque woman, caught the irony, but she laughed along with them all. On Rory’s arm, a much-larger Anna attended, sitting in the front pew, eyes still hungering. The nausea had subsided, only the growing fear of impending parenthood gnawed at her.
Eva also had the most amazing bridesmaids. Gina and Kendra had flown in; seeing them so close warmed his soul. Leah had been pried from her usual bubble-gum pink ensembles and even stole the show with a tearful speech. She’d come a long way. Of course, Cam hadn’t attended, but he’d be waiting upon her return.
As a flight of ducks took to the air, he held in another chuckle; the girl had been so nervous, asking him if she might keep her “job.” Easy decision; it made both her and Cam happy.
Besides, although he’d never asked for details, more of her shattered past was weaving together. As much as she hungered for the company of him and the others, she was also drawn to the guy. Father figure? In a twisted way, perhaps.
Plus, kinky and becoming ever kinkier, while still mindful of not injuring her, Cam, too, was ... improving. Yes, a few wispy taps had confirmed the guy’s intentions. Family man or not, he doted on her, showering his “baby girl” with gifts and upping her “pay” to six thousand dollars a month.
Thus, how could he deny her? After all, that’d been the deal: she and Hui Ying may do whatever they wished.
A sigh escaped him. The porcelain beauty, first seen as the most radiant of tiny suns, remained lost. Every so often, his tendrils discovered her. Yes, she was seeking help, but on her own terms. All the while, he ensured she understood a home awaited her among the others around him.
After another heavy exhale, he lifted his gaze, finding a row of houses. Behind them, two streets in, Catherine still lay naked under a sheen of sweat on her bed. Her husband, his best friend, Dan, had been best man. While they’d done nothing at the wedding, he’d kept his promise. From amid crumpled sheets, she’d only stared, twitching and moaning, as aftershocks sped through her. It had been an intense visit. One both focused on her, and a more vital matter.
Heart producing a steady thump within his chest, he shifted his view to scan the winsome, dark-haired girl sitting beside him. Black eyes, so full of intelligence, were waiting.
“Um, I’ve got something to tell you.” No matter how many times he’d rehearsed, the words stuck in his throat. “It’s ... Well, your life is gonna change. But you’ve got to keep it a secret. What I’m about—”
“You’re my real father, aren’t you?”
“Yes.”
“Mom’s been so happy since you’ve, um, been around more.” A quiet exhale left her. “Dad doesn’t know, does he?”
“No.” Aiden shook his head. “Your mother and I have a complicated relationship.”
“Hmm, well okay, I guess.”
She shrugged, the gesture of one who understood far more than her age should permit. At her slow nod, he found himself mirroring the youth, but then cleared his throat.
“That’s not all...”
As he talked, telling her about the ring, how he’d found it, what it had done, who his parents were, and his deal with The Woman, her eyes didn’t widen ... not a millimeter. When he fell silent, she continued to inspect him.
“That thrumming. Is that you?” she said at last.
“Yes.”
“I like it.” She grinned and his heart sang. “It’s as if you’re always with me.”
“Yeah, well.” He chortled. “That can be problematic.”
“So, what now, Aiden?” She pursed her lips, and those dark irises nibbled a little further into his soul. “Not sure I can call you ‘dad.’”
“That’s okay. I kinda showed up outta the blue.” Another laugh escaped him, and her eyes twinkled. “And, um, now what?” He patted the slacks on his thighs, hot under the sun, and glanced at her book bag sitting on the bench beyond her. “First, you’d better get home. Your mother will be worried.”
