Chapter 15

Erotica Sex Story: Chapter 15 - It’s been over a year since the events of “Aiden Ascending” and no further attempts have been made to seize the ring from Aiden. They haven’t forgotten about it though and send a new minion to try once more. When his true father arrives to warn him, his world becomes far more complex. More powers are in play, and Aiden must protect those who love him while seeking a showdown.

Lit by bright early morning sunshine, pouring through towering glass panels to glitter across the lobby tile, Leah sat on a small bench, trying to slow her heartbeat. Hair in a simple fan over her shoulders, held by a subdued obsidian barrette, and wearing a stylish, powder blue skirt with a half jacket, she blended in with the other workers.

Except she was who she was, and instead of a blouse, gauzy black lace, matching the panties and tops of dark stockings, hugged the curves of her torso. Shoulderless, it was no more than a wisp of cute flowers. With no need for a bra, each time the jacket flapped, it offered a peek of the tiny cones she hoped might still entice Aiden.

“Dumb decision,” she murmured, wishing it were possible to adjust her youthful looks.

But Treacle forbade such things once she went active. Besides, it was far too late; he’d seen her. Just then, a murmur at the back of her skull brought her gaze to the entrance. He was coming. It wasn’t a distinctive pulse, but as a shadow, backlit by the sun’s full glare, moved closer to the gold-trimmed glass entrance, the rough lace over both nipples grew way more noticeable.

When his broad-shouldered silhouette stepped inside, she tried to rise but failed. Racing like that of a horse on the final stretch, her heart threatened to burst from her chest. No muscle would respond as he moved past, heading for the elevators. Yes, fear gripped her. No, more than that, utter terror. Not at failing, but at what that ... man might offer. At last, she clenched her jaw and shoved upward from the bench.

At her heel clicks echoing behind him, he slowed. When those gray lasers swiveled, finding her, the clicking staggered, as did her pulse.

“Good morning, Leah.”

His smile ... Wow! Faint prickles erupted along the skin at her hairline. A flutter roamed deep. Heartbeat somehow thundering quicker, she grinned back at him as he halted, turning to face her.

“Um, how are you, Aiden?”

“Better now.”

That wondrous smile widened, and the lasers softened, transforming into those tempting pools. When she stopped before him, her entire world became his handsome visage as he gave her a slow scan.

“Hmm, nice outfit.” He chuckled. It was a warm sound, and her grin broadened. “Heading to work?”

“Uh, no.”

The quick flash of Cam’s hungry small eyes and flabby frame vaporized as swiftly as it had appeared. Helping shove it from her head was the hand on her lower back. It slid under the half jacket and strong fingers roamed the lace taut to her spine. At a slow rasping drag along the material’s wispy roughness, her brow narrowed. Hefty. Metal. As the sensation moved, a chill peeked through the stretched flowers.

“Oh, is that the—”

“Shh” He raised a finger to his lips. “Our little secret.”

“But why—”

“Nuh-uh.” He glanced around, removing the hand she desperately wanted back on her ... not because of the ring. When he returned to her, those pools flashed; he’d caught her thought. “Perhaps later. I’ve gotta go. Important meeting.”

“Oh, um.” She tore her eyes from him to scan the lobby.

“Still gonna seduce me, huh?”

Although he asked, the tone was light, and she again found his smile. Before she knew it, her own voice replied.

“Maybe, Aiden.”

As if she were a desperate, horny little girl, her lower lip became a chew toy. No, not acting ... like with Cam and so many others. Oh, she should’ve been, but she wasn’t. The twin pains trapped by stretching lace under the jacket intensified with every languid throb of energy from the towering man.

“Good answer.” He chuckled, and she was unable to resist laughing. “Tell you what. If you’re still around later, how about lunch?”

“Lunch?”

“Gotta eat. A slender body like that’s gonna burn a lot of energy trying to seduce me.” Eyes twinkling, sending sparkles into her, he again chortled, lifting a trio of fingers. “Three lovers, remember?”

Before she could respond, he turned and headed for the elevators. Abandoned by him for the second time in less than twenty-four hours, she stood trembling, on the verge of tears. The only saving grace was the smile he sent her from between the closing elevator doors.

She would wait for him until the end of time.

It wasn’t quite that long, but midday had come and gone; the sun sat much lower in the sky when he strode into the lobby. As soon as his gaze found her, she rose from a chair at the cafe. After tossing a third or maybe fourth cup—decaf by then—away, she corralled her galloping heartbeat and walked toward him.

“Hmm, wasn’t sure you’d still be here,” he said as that smile pinned her.

“Oh, uh, I had nothing...”

Her voice faded; the gray pools had expanded, sucking on her soul. Again, tiny beads of sweat lined her forehead. That delightful, hopeful flutter roamed the very center of her core.

“Well, sorry. Ran a bit longer than I hoped.” He held out his hand, gesturing for the exit. “You must be starving.”

Pulse thundering, she stared at the hand, the ring on it glowing a little brighter, then the towering glass doors, his brilliant smile, and finally those soul-nibbling eyes. Before she knew it, several sharp heel clicks propelled her under his arm. While a sigh flowed from her trembling lips, he eased her against him.

“Guessed right, huh?” Although he started to chuckle, when she looked up at him, it faded. “You really are beautiful, Leah. Don’t care if everyone tells you that.”

“Thank you, Aiden,” she replied in as measured a tone as possible.

The steady, calming hammer strokes of his heartbeat against her ribs fought with the twin achy pains scratched by rough lace. Yes, her reality was whirling.

A silence descended as he guided her from the building and through a light crowd of dedicated employees leaving work. Across the broad sidewalk, vivid orange beams of dying sunlight alternated with stark black stripes. Just as they stepped into the deeper shadows of another tower, he cleared his throat.

“Know a place. It’s pretty good.” His hand gave her a squeeze, making the world blur. “Should still be open. Italian alright?”

“Umm, y-yes,” she managed to murmur as her heart raced quicker.

No sooner had they entered a cozy, red-lit restaurant than Aiden was greeted like an old friend by a gray-haired, portly man in a black suit. Wearing a smile, she tried to follow the words, but few made it past the rushing in her skull. At some point, she also greeted the man before he led them to the rear of the dining room.
