The Terror Troll trudged toward the terrified team.
Ten meters tall. Hulking. Hunched. Thick, brutal arms dragging like wrecking balls. But the worst part wasn’t the size or mass.
It was the body, which looked completely skinless.
A red, glistening titan of exposed muscle and tendon. Veins pulsed like coiled worms. And its organs were also visible, including its thundering heart beating fully exposed in its chest.
The entire human centipede froze.
“Oh, poor guy! Somebody stole his skin,” Pixie whimpered.
“No, that is its skin,” Akemi corrected. “Terror Trolls have armor-hide like tanks. They just make parts invisible to scare people. Total assholes. They’re already horrifying without the theatrics. That’s one of the many reasons why they are so infamous.”
Zara wanted to shout at them to shut up and let’s move as the monster lumbered closer.
Then something strange happened.
The troll’s movement stretched, like watching a colossal nightmare underwater. Voices in the shared mind came quicker than real sound. Thoughts sharpened. Reactions synced. Reflexes aligned.
Zara realized it first.
They were faster. Not just individually. Together. Even the earlier conversation between Pixie and Akemi was actually just a mere second.
“MOVE!!!” Irish broke the paralysis with a terrified scream.
They snapped back to life. The grotesque centipede lunged sideways with shocking speed. For a moment, freedom tasted real.
Then the troll also blurred and vanished. No, it dashed, covering the distance in a violent flicker of muscle and rage.
Its fist cratered the floor inches from Zara’s ass. Concrete shards peppered her skin like hail.
Zara remembered what she heard about them during the lectures, specifically the Terror Troll super-sprint. Short bursts of impossible speed, but in a very, very short distance.
“GO!” Irish shrieked once more.
They bolted again ... or as close to “bolting” as a thirty-two-person fused nightmare could manage. Their strange, synchronized speed bought distance ... but the victory was short-lived.
The examinees’ bravado dissipated as the monster’s shadow fell on all of them at the same time. Zara could even feel the air shifting around her as the troll’s fist came down like a meteor.
They had no time.
Zara braced for impact.
It never came.
Instead ... there was nothing beneath her.
Her arms clawed at air.
Everyone screamed mentally as the entire human centipede lifted off the ground, ripped upward like a ribbon yanked by a giant hand. They shot toward the ceiling, stopping only inches below it, suspended in the air like some obscene chandelier.
Below them, the Terror Troll wandered around, utterly baffled.
For one beautiful second, the was silence.
“ ... did we just fly?” Pixie asked. “Like Gaylor? Aki, that was you?”
“No,” Akemi answered. “I can lift maybe three or four people at once, but not dozens.”
“Ordinarily, no, not with our usual strength,” Minerva remarked calmly. “However, we are far from ‘ordinary’ at the moment. The Link Liana has bound our minds and bodies together; our reflexes, instincts, and responses are being mutually shared. It is entirely plausible that our augmentations are likewise being distributed among us as a collective. This particular phenomenon appears to have been activated by the severe psychological stress of confronting the Terror Troll.”
“What?” Keller floated beside them, staring wide-eyed.
“She says we can share our powers with each other, and this ability was awakened when we got scared shitless by the troll,” Akemi explained.
“So, I managed to share my floating powers with you guys?” Gaylor asked. “Cool.”
“Yeah, but there’s no way we can beat an adult Terror Troll for the first try,” Akemi added.
“Can’t we just go back to the teleport machine?” Undine asked. “Maybe Minerva and Valeria should take a look at it.”
“It was made by the Zhao sisters. There’s no way we could hack ourselves into it,” Valeria replied. “There’s only one way to leave, by beating the troll. They probably put some small trackers and chips inside its body to read the vital signs. Once the teleport platform gets an unconscious signal from the troll, we can go.”
“I have no idea why Ariitmi thought we could pass this test,” Akemi sighed.
“Hey! She is a degenerate, perverted, disgusting asshole, but she is also one of the greatest hunters ever,” Zara shouted telepatically. “She believed in us, which means that we must have the potential to beat his monster. Even if the monster is an adult Terror Troll bull.”
They stayed silent.
“Let’s put together what we have and move on.” Zara continued, “Fuck! We already managed to escape by combining only two abilities: Irish’s speed and Gaylor’s floating. What can we do if we all use our powers?”
“Oh God almighty! That’s wonderful!” Yaraviel moaned as David fucked her doggy style. Her breasts bounced back and forth like two heavy sandbags.
Aritimi was watching from the corner, on her knees, hands behind her head to be sure that she couldn’t touch herself.
“That’s so fucking goooood!” Yaraviel purred. “I love you, Daddy, so much!”
“Tell her what you feel honestly about this,” David ordered, slapping the nun’s plump ass.
“Until this man took my virginity, I thought sex was just a sinful act, but it’s actually everything one should live for. Oh, Timi, I was so blinded by my bigotry that I wasted my best years,” Yaraviel answered between moans.
“It’s never too late,” Aritimi said and then turned to David, “Daddy, can I join, or at least touch myself now?”
“Sorry, but the boss scheduled things for you, and you have to wait until the next wave of fucking.” He shook his head, “I’d fuck you senseless if it were for me, but the boss is the boss.”
“Hey, look at our new guests,” Robin and Ethan walked in, followed by a team of naked black women, Aritimi’s sisters.
David felt like his balls were caught in a vice’s grip as he looked at the naked Argento women walking in. His baby batter burst into the nun’s cunt.
“That’s all of them?” Ethan asked.
“No, their mother, Artemis, is not reacting, and probably other family members like their children or grandchildren are in other countries, so we would need more time to get them caught by the system’s link,” Robin explained.
“Artemis is not responding because I ordered the plant not to reach out for her,” the boss’s voice rumbled from somewhere. “She is a council member, and those have special implants in their heads to not just avoid brainwashing, but to alert the HSA when somebody attempts to take control over them. I learned this the hard way, long ago.”
“Alright, and what about Aritimi’s pupils?” Ethan added, “They are pretty powerful; one of them is an Argento, and one of them has a Flesh Fiend’s powers.”
“They would be too much for the system.” The boss answered, “It can only control twenty-six bloodlines right now, but we can capture them for future use.”
Suspended near the ceiling, the examinees held position while Gaylor’s shared power strained to keep them afloat.
“We’re not keeping this forever,” Gaylor warned. “Whatever we do, make it count.”
A flurry of thoughts overlapped, then settled as Zara took control.
“Everyone remembers everything we talked about?” she asked.
Telepathic confirmation rippled through the human centipede.
“Good.” Zara’s lips curled into a feral grin as she looked down at the confused Terror Troll pacing below. “Then let’s experiment.”
She turned her focus inward.
“Jacintha. You’re up.”
Jacintha extended her hand.
Flesh gathered in her palm with a wet, nauseating sound. The mass swelled rapidly, beach-ball sized, then larger, veins pulsing as it grew heavier and denser. With a final pop, it tore free from her body and began to fall.
Midair, it reshaped.
Not into a Jacintha clone.
But into a colossal, identical replica of the Byrne sisters’ head.
“Girls,” Jacintha said. “Your turn.”
The Terror Troll noticed it immediately.
Its massive hand snapped out and caught the grotesque falling head. It stared at it in confusion, then realization struck. Its gaze lifted.
It roared as it noticed the examinees at last.
“NOW!” Zara commanded.
The Byrne triplets focused as one. Their Diabolical Dullahan energy surged into the clone head.
The explosion was instantaneous.
A blazing sphere of hellfire engulfed the troll, the shockwave rattling the entire chamber. Flames surged upward, licking the ceiling and washing over the examinees, but none of them burned. The triplets were able to share their fire immunity.
Smoke and dust filled the room.
“Yes!” Ysolde cheered.
“We nailed it!” Yseult added.
“Target neutralized,” Ysandre declared.
Zara didn’t smile.
“No,” she said quietly. “We didn’t.”
The smoke thinned.
The Terror Troll stood there.
Scorched floor. Melted debris. But no dead troll. Its invisible armor shimmered faintly as the fire faded.
The troll slowly rolled its shoulders. Then it laughed.
“Plan B,” Zara said sharply.
The monster bent its knees.
“Everyone. HOLD...”
The Terror Troll leapt. Straight up.
“MOVE!” Zara shouted.
Akemi reacted instantly, yanking the entire chain sideways with telekinetic force. The grotesque centipede slammed onto the floor just as the troll smashed into the ceiling, but didn’t fall.
Instead, it dug in.
Its claws tore into reinforced concrete, embedding like hooks. The massive creature clung upside down, muscles bulging grotesquely as it craned its head toward them like some nightmarish cat.
“Irish,” Zara called, “lock in. We’re borrowing your speed.”
Irish didn’t hesitate. The world blurred.
They surged into motion again, faster than before, just in time.
The Terror Troll dropped.
Its bulk cratered the floor where they’d been moments earlier, the impact sending shockwaves through the chamber.
They didn’t stop.
The human-centipede-shaped team sprint-crawled in circles around the monster. At times, they ran along the walls themselves, clinging briefly like an actual centipede.
Pain followed.
Hands scraped raw. Knees cracked against stone. Skin tore.
It was even worse for those whose breasts reached the floor.
Gaylor hissed as her chest scraped hard against the unyielding concrete. Hristina gasped sharply as her pale, delicate flesh turned red. Welcome growled as blood smeared beneath her.
But then ... relief.
Warmth spread across their conjoined bodies.
“My knees don’t hurt anymore,” Bambi thought in disbelief.
Zara felt it too.
“Oh, good,” she said, half-focused. “I was pushing my regeneration harder than usual. I was hoping I could share it with you guys.”
Pixie giggled. “It’s like group healthcare!”
“Focus,” Akemi snapped, though there was relief in her voice. “Before it figures us out again.”
The Terror Troll roared, spinning wildly, fists smashing the ground as it tried to track them.
And Zara smiled.
They weren’t just surviving anymore. They were adapting. Tapping into the potential that Aritimi saw in them.
Zara didn’t panic.
She had hoped the explosion would work, but she had expected it not to. Terror Trolls didn’t die easily, and this one had already proven it wasn’t a training dummy.
Luckily, she and her friends weren’t out of ideas.
As they continued circling the monster at high speed, Quincy and Rexine moved together without needing to speak.
Extra arms burst into existence along the human centipede, not just from Quincy herself, but from her friends’ bodies as well. Limbs unfolded from shoulders, backs, hips, anywhere they could anchor.
At the same time, Rexine’s spears followed.
They didn’t just form in her hands.
They sprouted from everyone.
Forearms. Backs. Even thighs.
A forest of living weapons.
Niko joined with her powers as well, coating each spear with fluttering paper wings, giving her fine control over their trajectories. Undine wove silver threads around the shafts. Freya flooded them with electricity, lightning crackling along the metal. The spears hummed like a swarm of angry insects.
“We need to breach its hide,” Zara said, voice steady despite the chaos. “And that won’t be easy. Not even a Dire Elephant’s skin is this tough.”
“Can’t we just shove them into its mouth or something?” Keller suggested. “Eyes, ears, nose...”
“Too small, and they are on a moving target, while we are also moving,” Zara cut in. “And it can rotate its head almost completely around, like an owl, to avoid surprise head attacks. Torso is the safest target.”
They struck.
A coordinated wave of spears launched toward the troll’s body, guided midair by Niko’s precise control.
The result was ... pathetic.
The spears bounced, clinked, and dropped harmlessly to the floor.
It was like throwing toothpicks at a concrete wall.
“Fuck!” Rexine snarled. “These are the sharpest spears I’ve ever made!”
“It’s not the edge,” Quincy said grimly. “It’s the force. My arms can’t throw them hard enough.”
“I can,” Welcome said brightly.
Zara’s thoughts snapped toward her.
“You could,” she admitted. “But throwing still won’t be enough.”
She stared at the monster’s chest as it turned to track them again.
“Stabbing,” she said slowly. “We need to stab it.”
“Are you serious?” Skeletina demanded. “Terror Trolls can move ridiculously fast up close.”
“I know,” Zara continued, “Lexi, Lexy, Lexie, we will need your powers.”
