Callie’s heart pounded in her chest, which bounced painfully as she fled down the hall. She hadn’t planned on partaking in any rigorous athletics while filming, so she hadn’t thought to wear her sports bra that she usually favored on her morning jogs. Though when running for her life, Callie could bear the discomfort of her regular C-cup bra. She could hear Phil’s frantic footsteps behind her, along with the fleshy stomping of the monster, which she had hoped was just a trick of her flickering flashlight, but Phil’s screams to keep going cemented the reality of the horror unfolding around them.
Callie could still barely believe what she had seen. Ghosts were one thing – they were supposed to be shades of the living, usually showing up as vaguely humanoid apparitions, but to describe that thing as “vaguely humanoid” was a very generous description. It appeared to be half human, but just the bottom half, or perhaps “halves” would be more accurate. What had greeted them in the corner of the hall was the scarred, naked lower half of man, but instead of an accompanying torso, there was another man’s pelvis and legs attached to the top of the hips by bloody, messy stitch work, as if the man’s legs had been mirrored on top of themselves.
Four impossibly long and gangly arms sprouted from the creature’s back, which reached around to grasp the darkness around the fleeing duo with slender, boney fingers. Most surreal, however, were the two sets of enormous male genitalia hanging from between the mottled legs, which appeared permanently erect and swung back and forth wildly as the monster ran, its huge, swollen lower set of balls slapping loudly against its thighs and both cocks leaking copious amounts of precum that sprayed in the air and trailed along the broken tiles on the floor. The scrotum of the upper legs sagged down around the erect shaft that was pointing towards the ground, each orb jiggling while hugging the veiny length.
“Wh-what the hell is that thing!?” Callie shouted through labored breaths, unwilling to look back, only focusing dead ahead on approaching obstacles and paths to take in order to try and gain some distance on their pursuer.
“I don’t fucking know! Just don’t fucking stop! It’s right fucking behind us!” Phil screeched, his voice cracking. He was lagging behind Callie quite a bit now, who was considerably more athletic than the stout producer, not to mention not burdened by a heavy camera. Phil had dropped his flashlight in surprise when they first encountered the leg monster, so he was relying entirely on the camera’s night vision and Callie’s erratically bobbing light ahead of him in order to navigate the cluttered corridors.
“Wh-what if that thing grabbed Jake and the others!?” Callie gasped as she hurdled over a rusted gurney that was blocking the hall. Phil was too out of breath to respond by the time he got there. He struggled to climb over the steel stretcher, the rickety metal legs making it difficult for his already shaking limbs to find their balance.
Callie looked over her shoulder after hearing his panicked grunts of exertion and skidded to a halt, pivoting on her heel and sprinting back towards him. She could see the lurching form of the monster scrambling through the shadows towards Phil, and just when it seemed like it was about to grab him with its gangly arms, Callie yanked Phil off the gurney while kicking it towards the creature.
The monster toppled into it, tripping over itself and crashing to the floor in a heap of debris. One of its knees rammed up into the upper set of testicles, which seemed to shrivel as the creature let out an inhuman howl of pain from some unseen orifice that loudly reverberated along the walls. Callie and Phil were forced to clasp their hands to their ears to block out the debilitating scream, gritting their teeth as their very bones seemed to shake.
Fortunately, even after the howling had stopped, the demonic creature momentarily struggled to get to its putrid feet, giving the two of them enough time to dash away down the hall. Phil’s t-shirt clung to his chubby body that was caked with sweat, his pounding heart threatening to rend itself out of his chest. Just when he was about to collapse from exhaustion, he heard Callie call out to him, standing by an open doorway and beckoning him inside. A quick look behind confirmed that the monster was no longer within eyesight, so now was as good a time as any to find a hiding spot. He dove into the dark room ahead of Callie, who carefully and quietly closed the door behind them, before they both fell to their knees, panting loudly.
Only a few seconds later, the heard stomping footsteps approach their hiding spot, coming to a halt just outside the door. Callie frantically turned her flashlight off while Phil covered his mouth to muffle his haggard breathing. They sat huddled in silence, cursing their traitorous, thundering heartbeats that threatened to give them away. Callie let out a small whimper in surprise as four cracked palms pressed up against the glass window of the door, slowly sliding along the surface to find an opening. Phil, watching through the night-vision camera in horror, quietly reached his shaking hand up towards the skeleton key lodged in the keyhole, clenching his eyes as he carefully turned it just as one of the gnarled hands grasped the handle and rattled it back and forth.
The creature tested the lock a few times by pushing on the door with considerable force, banging the steel in its frame as the window’s bulletproof glass rattled in place. Callie and Phil did their best to quietly slink towards a desk in the corner of the room, taking shelter behind the rotting wood as the banging continued. Just when it seemed like the door might give way, the noises stopped, and they heard the plodding, fleshy footsteps quickly meander off down the hall, hopefully assuming the two cowering humans couldn’t possibly be behind the locked door.
They dared not speak for several more minutes, simply listening to each other breathing in the darkness and straining their ears for any more signs of stalking monsters in the shadows. After a while of nothing happening, Callie decided to take the risk of breaking the silence by letting out her held breath and gulping deeply.
“I think it’s gone,” she whispered with a dry tongue, switching her flashlight back on to dispel the crushing darkness. Phil squinted into the light and nodded, letting out a sigh of relief as well. They both got to their feet, their legs feeling like jelly from a combination of fear and exertion.
“H-how are we going to get to the roof with that fucking thing running around?” Phil stammered, wiping his sweaty palms on his cargo shorts. “What if there are more!?”
“We’ve got to at least try! It’s our only hope of getting help!” Callie replied, nervously biting at her fingernail. “We barely escaped, but what about everyone else!? What the fuck even was that!? There’s no way it’s just someone playing a prank!”
“Y-yeah...” Phil gulped, running his hands through his already messy hair. “I admit this is really challenging some of my long-held beliefs...”
“I just hope Jake and the others found places to hide, too...” Callie sighed, now chewing on a different fingernail.
“I’m surprised you even still care about Jake and the others after what happened,” Phil raised a brow.
“I’ll kill them after we all get out safely!” Callie scoffed, holding herself back from angrily kicking something.
“D-do you think they could be...”
“They’re alive! They’re alive, okay!? We just need to get the police and ... and I don’t know, maybe a priest or something!? We just need to figure out where the heck we are now so we can keep heading to the roof. Stay focused! We can’t afford to get lost!”
“Right, of course ... Well, we should at least try the radios again now that we’re closer,” Phil said as he reached for his walkie-talkie.
“Wait! What if they’re hiding and the sound gives them away?” Callie realized with a start before grabbing at Phil’s hand.
“Well, it doesn’t matter anyway. It’s dead.” Phil sighed in despair. He pressed the button a few times to demonstrate that nothing happened, the power indicator remaining dark.Callie tried the same with hers, producing equal results. They both swore in unison.
“W-What if we just lay low and hide until dawn?” Phil suggested, starting to glance around the musty room for better cover. “It’ll be way better to do this with sunlight.”
“We can’t risk waiting that long. It’s not even 3 AM – we have several hours before sunrise!” Callie breathlessly checked her phone, which was on the last dredges of its battery. Her pale face was illuminated in the cold glow of the small screen. “We need to act now! Let’s just figure out where we are now and go from there, okay?”
“Fine...” Phil begrudgingly agreed with a deep sigh. They began to look around the musty room, Callie using her flashlight and Phil using the camera. The walls were lined with crumbling bookshelves filled with molding books, rusted filing cabinets, a dead grandfather clock, and glass frames displaying various impressive-looking but faded diplomas. Unlike the rest of the hospital, though clearly rotting with age, the contents of the room were all relatively tidy and neatly organized, with only a few scattered papers littering the dust-covered carpet.
“Phil, check this out...” Callie whispered, pointing her light at a framed black and white photograph standing on a reading table next to a stained armchair. The picture showed two middle-aged men happily shaking hands in front of what appeared to be the grand opening of the asylum. One of the men was bald and wore small spectacles over his angular face, his white doctor’s coat spotless even in the decaying photo. The other man looked surprisingly familiar.
“Isn’t that Mr. Nelson...?” Phil muttered, picking up the frame to get a better look.
“I thought so too!” Callie agreed. “But that can’t be possible – he’d have to be, like, at least a hundred years old, right?”
“Well he certainly isn’t young, that’s for sure,” Phil mused. “But this could be his father or something. I wonder who this is who he’s with, though? Seems important.”
“I’m guessing it’s him,” Callie replied, gesturing at a carved marble bust of a man resting on the bookshelf next to them, which looked just like the bespectacled man in the photo. It stared at the two of them with cold, white eyes, and a callous smile frozen in time. The small bronze plaque on the front of the statue read, “Dr. Eugene Kolben”.
“Dr. Kolben...” Phil ponderously read aloud. “Wasn’t he the head doctor that got this place shut down with rumors of freaky experiments and stuff?”
“Yeah, and I think this is his office,” Callie remarked, noticing the name on each of the hanging diplomas.
“Huh? But this was locked when we first came through, wasn’t it?”
“I’m thinking that inexplicably unlocked doors are the least of our problems right now,” Callie gulped. “We seriously need to get out of here.” She started to scan the map of the asylum she was still holding, looking for the head doctor’s office so as to plan their escape route.
“Whoa, what the hell is this?” Phil said, picking up a large tome that had fallen beneath the chair and showing it to Callie. The book appeared to be bound in some sort of leather, with various strips of dried skin messily sewed together. There was no title on the cover, just a complicated drawing of a pentagram covered in strange, arcane-looking symbols, all of which seemed to be tattooed into the leather itself. Everything about it screamed “evil”.
“I don’t think we should–” Callie began, but Phil was already flipping through the tattered, stained pages, most of which were covered in illegible scribblings, diagrams, or words in a language Callie couldn’t understand. “Phil! Haven’t you ever seen a horror movie before!? You’re gonna summon a demon or something!”
“Relax!” He rolled his eyes. “I’m not gonna read it out loud or anything. This is clearly a suspicious book, and given everything going on, maybe it has some answers!”
“O-okay ... just be careful,” Callie muttered, anxiously playing with her ponytail. “I like hunting ghosts, but I’m NOT interested in messing with demons. We have proof of the supernatural on that camera! And I’d like to get out of here alive to share it with the world! So stop messing around and let’s go!”
“Asmodeus...” Phil whispered curiously as he traced a finger over one of the pages, clearly not listening.
“What?”
“‘Asmodeus,’” He repeated. “It’s the only thing I can make out here.” He tapped on a page that had a drawing of a muscular, horned devil with three goat-like heads and six snake-like tails twining around its fiendish body. “Asmodeus is thought to be one of the four princes of hell created by Lucifer himself – the symbol of lust and lechery – though different religions have different accounts.” Callie stared at him in disbelief. “What? I minored in theology.” Phil shrugged and closed the book with a dusty clap.
“Great. Amazing. Are you happy? Can we go now?” Callie put her hands on her hips and huffed, presenting the door to him with an exaggerated gesture.
“Yeah, this was a waste of time after all. I knew I should have paid more attention in Latin class.” He sighed and threw the book over his shoulder. It bumped against the side of the desk and knocked something on it over with a soft thump followed by a clatter. Callie felt her blood freeze in her veins after she glanced over to see what had fallen.
The hairs on the back of her neck stood on end, and despite all her instincts screaming at her to turn back around, she couldn’t help but slowly move closer to the desk to inspect the piece of cardboard that had just been knocked down. She hadn’t gotten a good view of it before in the dark, but what she had initially mistook to be a folded-up binder standing on the desk was in fact a Ouija board. Her Ouija board.
“H-how did this get here?” Callie croaked, looking down at the glittery pink “Ghost Girls” sticker she had placed over the “Ouija” logo years ago.
“Isn’t that ours? What the fuck?” Phil said aghast, coming over to see what had distracted her. “Did someone else bring this here to mess with us maybe?”
“They would have had to have been fast – this was still down on the table with our stuff when the lights went out...” Callie, against her better judgment, picked up the pink, heart-shaped planchet, which she had purchased online after graduation. There was no doubt about it that it was her exact board. She stared silently at the piece of plastic in her hand, gazing through the hole in the center as if trying to see some hidden truth. Phil began to pace around the room nervously, peeking out through the window now and then to make sure the monster from before wasn’t lurking nearby.
“I think we should play,” Callie muttered quietly, looking over at Phil as she placed the planchette back down on the board.
“P-play? You want to try and communicate with the spirits!?” Phil gaped at her as if she were insane.
“Oh, what? This is where you draw the line? You’re the one who was all gung-ho about some demonic book a minute ago!”
“That’s different! There’s no harm in simply reading, but now you’re going to actively provoke the ghosts!? I mean, if this is actually happening for real, that’s all the more reason not to play around with that.”
“It’s all the more reason TO do so!” Callie exclaimed. “Not all spirits are bad! There’s a chance we might ‘find answers’ like you were saying earlier!”
“And it doesn’t worry you that it just happened to appear next to us?” He raised a brow at her.
“Like I said, it’s possible that some spirits are trying to help us! Don’t you think that if they wanted to attack us here, they would?”
“I guess...” Phil massaged his tired eyes. “Fine. Fuck it.” He shrugged and slapped his hands against his thighs in defeat.
“That’s the spirit!” Callie grinned wearily. The look on Phil’s face indicated that her attempt at lightening the mood with humor had not gone well. “Make sure you record this, too.”
“Of course,” Phil sighed, placing the camera down on the desk next to the Ouija board so that it could see the surface. He moved to stand next to Callie who set the planchette down on the center of the board and arranged her flashlight to illuminate the desk.
“You remember how to do this?” Callie asked, placing one hand on the planchette while reaching out with the other to take Phil’s hand.
“Yeah, we hold hands while each keeping one hand on the thingy, then take turns asking questions,” he replied, grasping her hand with his sweaty palm. She nodded at him as he touched his fingers to the planchette next to hers. “But this has all been proven to just be the ideomotor effect.”
“We’ll see,” Callie said as she gazed down at the board. None of them spoke for several seconds, both interested and scared by the thought of what could happen if they proceeded, but eventually Callie decided to set the ball in motion.
“Are there any spirits in the room with us who want to make contact?” She asked in a clear voice that projected around the dark room, the long, dark shadows cast by the flashlight looming over them like watchful specters. They both held their breaths while staring unblinkingly down at the planchette. Nothing happened. Phil was about to pull his hand away and scoff about wasting time, but as he did so, he felt like his arm was frozen in place, and all of a sudden, the planchette moved to the “Yes” space on the board. They both let out small, shuttering gasps before swallowing deeply.
“N-no fucking way ... that felt way too real,” Phil breathed, his legs starting to tremble.
“I-it’s your turn to ask something,” Callie reminded him, her wide eyes glued to the board.
“Uh, r-right. Uhh ... wh-who are you?” Phil nervously chewed his lip as, once again, he felt his arm seemingly move of its own accord, slowly drawing the planchette to the letters on the board to spell out “D” then “R”.
“‘D.R.’?” Phil read after the planchette came to a stop. He gave Callie a quizzical look. “Initials?”
“I think it probably means ‘Doctor’,” Callie replied, excitement entering her voice. “I knew we’d contact someone able to help!” She thought for a moment about her next question, when the dusty grandfather clock in the corner of the room, which had clearly been long dead, suddenly and loudly donged to signal the turning of the hour, the ornate hands indicating that the time was 3:00 AM. It only let out one bell chime, however. Callie and Phil had practically leapt out of their skins due to the unexpected noise, but managed to keep their hands on the planchette, largely due to Phil tightly squeezing both his hands in fear. After a moment of calming down, Callie cleared her voice.
“Wh-where are our friends?” She whispered hoarsely, her heart pounding in her throat. The planchette moved more aggressively now, scraping across the cardboard and jerking their wrists in sharp motions. It first circled the “0” on the board, then moved away slightly before returning to the “0” then dashing over to the “4”. The clock rang out for a second time, the gong sounding deep and guttural. “‘004’? What on earth could that mean...?” Phil quickly took his turn next, clearly no longer able to hold back the question he was most burning to ask.
“What the fuck do you want!?” He practically yelled, sweat beading on his brow. The planchette moved ever so slowly down to the letters on the board, but instead of spelling out a word, it simply circled the letter “U”.
“‘U’?” Callie read in confusion. Suddenly, the third chime of the clock echoed through the room, louder than the other two had been, sending vibrations through the walls and floor that toppled books and ruffled papers as, out of the darkness from the other side of the desk, an enormous, veiny gray cock covered in scabs slammed down onto the board with a sickening, fleshy thud, the tip of which was pointing at the “Yes” space.
“YOU,” a deep, garbled man’s voice loudly groaned. Callie and Phil yanked their hands away in shock, causing the planchette to clatter to the floor as they looked up to see the owner of the ghastly penis: a tall, bald man with pupilless white eyes behind thin glasses, his mottled, semi-transparent body entirely nude save for a tattered and stained doctor’s coat with the name “Dr. Kolben” embroidered on the breast pocket in a scrawling script. Most disturbing of all was his horribly mutilated scalp that was covered with gnarled, twisted burn scars, with entire chunks of his crown seemingly missing or grotesquely hanging off of his head.
Callie and Phil screamed in terror and fumbled backwards while the fiendish apparition let out a low, inhuman laugh as several more ghostly doctors and nurses wearing filthy scrubs entered into the room by passing straight through the walls. Their pale glowing forms bathed the room in an eerie, pallid light that flickered irregularly, throwing strange, erratically moving shadows all around Callie and Phil as they scrambled for the locked door, only to find that the key was now missing.
“Get it open! get it open!” Callie shouted from behind Phil as he desperately turned the doorknob to no avail. The sound of ghoulish laughter filled the air as the spirits watched him attempt to bash the door open with his shoulder, which did little more than bruise his side. Phil simply sputtered and whimpered non-verbal sounds of panic as he single-mindedly focused on escaping. He barely seemed to notice when Callie yelped as one of the nurses grabbed her by the ponytail and dragged her back towards the desk, hurling her on top of it.
Despite his long-standing crush on her, he didn’t even look back as the spirits began to violently strip Callie’s clothing away despite her pleas, simply continuing to slam against the door while cold, dead hands explored the hostess’s nubile body.
“H-hey! L-let go! Phil! Help!” She cried out, struggling to be free of their firm grips, but there were too many of them pinning her down, and Phil seemed to have completely cracked, tears and snot streaming down his face as he muttered something under his breath while frantically kicking at the door.
Callie wailed and shrieked as the ghost yanked her hoodie up and over her head, painfully pulling her baseball cap off of her ponytail in the process, which undid the hair tie and let her chestnut hair spill down onto the desk around her. With her simple, white cotton bra now revealed, the spirits made quick work of her tight yoga pants, pulling the stretchy fabric with their jagged fingernails until it shredded apart, showing off her pink panties that had a tiny bow on the front.
A dozen or so ephemeral hands crawled all over her newly exposed flesh, caressing her toned abdomen, taut thighs, and trembling face before grasping onto her underwear and forcefully pulling both bra and panties away, allowing her sizeable, pert tits to pop out into view, her cherry-pink nipples already stiff.
Callie was now stripped entirely naked save for the sporty sneakers on her feet, which were quickly wrenched apart as the inhumanly strong spirits spread her limbs to get a good look at her plump pussy. Her mound was adorned with a tidy, wide landing strip of soft brown pubes that pointed down to her glistening pink inner lips that subtly peeked out from between her smoothly shaved cleft.
Phil would have been quite surprised – and Callie even more embarrassed – if he had seen her styled pubes, as her personality didn’t seem to match such lewd grooming habits. In fact, it had been Jake who had pleaded with her to have a landing strip, which was one of his big kinks. She eventually agreed and came to realize that it did indeed make her feel cleaner and sexier, so she kept it trimmed as a naughty little secret for the two of them, but she never would have imagined her vagina being put on full like it was now. She felt shame burning her face as she momentarily hesitated to call out to Phil again, unsure if she preferred him to be looking away for the time being. The attention of Dr. Kolben and the other spirits was still very much on her tight, nude, helpless body, however.
“Wh-what do you want from me!?” Callie whimpered, looking up at the ghostly leering faces above her. The phantoms regarded her with dark, pit-like eyes and wide, broken smiles as Dr. Kolben moved astride her and bent over to closely examine her body after moving Jake’s camera slightly to better capture Callie’s entire body.
“I simply need your cooperation to complete my great work,” Dr. Kolben gruffly replied as he experimentally pinched one of Callie’s hard nipples and slid a probing finger down between her tender pussy lips. She let out a small squeal from his cold touch, which prompted him to smile even broader while he inspected the clear juices on his finger that he coaxed out from her slit. “Yes, you will do nicely. Nurses, please prep the patient for the procedure; I will perform the pre-examination on the other patient.”
He turned to look towards the door, which Phil had finally managed to open at some point while the spirits were busy with Callie. The producer was now nowhere to be seen, having run out of the room as soon and fast as he could, leaving Callie to her unfortunate fate.
“The patient is far too anxious for the procedure,” Dr. Kolben remarked with a chilling sigh, ignoring Callie’s stream of expletives aimed at Phil, who would never hear them. “I shall prepare a sedative. Take her to the operation room when ready. I expect perfect results, yes?” The other specters silently nodded as the head doctor dispersed into a thin, silvery mist that wafted away through the peeling wallpaper. The remaining spirits turned back to look at Callie, their jaws all slowly unhinging to reveal ghastly, abyssal maws.
“No! No please! Get away! Nooo!” Callie sobbed while fruitlessly struggling. Tears flowed down her face as the ghouls bent over her as if preparing for a feast of warm human flesh. But instead of feeling the wraiths’ crooked teeth sinking into her bare skin, she instead gasped in surprise and disgust as they began to projectile vomit a horrid, black slime all over her naked body. It was extremely slippery and pleasantly warm to the touch, and the skin it made contact with – which was most of it – began to tingle slightly. Despite its grotesque appearance, the goo gave off a sweet aroma that made Callie’s head spin and filled her stomach with butterflies.
Her breathing became heavy and her vulva began to throb as she slowly began to realize that the dark fluid covering her body must have powerful aphrodisiac effects, in addition to making her skin extra sensitive, as evidenced by the intense shiver sent through her spine by one of the phantom nurses simply grazing her thigh with the sleeve of her scrubs. She let out one last weak plead for mercy, which was promptly ignored by the spirits who began to roughly but methodically massage every inch of her trembling body, working the lube-like vomit into her flushed skin and paying special attention to her quivering breasts and smooth pussy, pressing their skillful fingers into every fold.
Callie bit her lip to hold back a moan as the onslaught of groping and caressing continued for several minutes. She tried to close her legs to prevent all those cold fingers from repeatedly sliding in between her sensitive cleft, stroking between her inner and outer lips in maddening fashion, but she was held fast. Finally, after a long agonizing while, the nurses’ gliding hands retreated, holding their gloved fingers up in front of themselves like surgeons preparing for an operation. Callie’s entire body was now completely caked in the strange slime, which had turned clear and left her glistening skin feeling slippery and sensitive as if it were a potent lotion.
Callie’s bleary eyes barely registered as the female nurses backed away to allow the remaining six male nurses to crowd around her, each one sporting a massive erection that would have put even the largest porn stars to shame. Their ghostly shafts twitched and oozed more of that strange black fluid from their swollen tips, which faded in and out from view every so often. Callie grimaced and turned her head away as one of the nurses approached her face, slapping his meaty cock against her cheeks as if beckoning her to open her mouth. Though the erotic sight of so many impressive penises, along with the effects of the aphrodisiac, did admittedly turn her on, she stalwartly refused to take part in their sick games, despite the feeling of emptiness between her legs urging her onwards.
She wasn’t given much choice, however, as she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her buttocks as one of the phantasmal female nurses swiftly spanked her taut ass through the surface of the desk below. Callie yelped in shock, opening her mouth long enough for the male ghost to plunge his waiting dick down into her throat. She moaned and gagged as the thick intruder pushed past her lips, but to her relief, she found she could still breath normally as the air passed through the ghost’s spectral member – however this also meant she would never need to be given respite. The spirit fucking her throat deeply pistoned in and out of her mouth at an eager pace, his full balls repeatedly smacking her in the face with satisfying “plap” sounds.
