Chapter 3: The Chariot

Minato was totally out of it next morning. He was fortunate that today was Sunday, a day off. Everyone else in the dorms was out save Aigis. That was good, he didn’t need Fuuka learning that he cheated on her with Yukari the night before. A cat fight was the last thing he needed.

He was just getting up when he found Aigis waiting by his dorm. The android’s face was blank as usual, it was always difficult to tell what she was thinking. But her eyes had a quiet intensity today.

“You don’t look too well,” she said. “Is there anything I can do to help?”

“Give me a massage,” he said listlessly. “A nice all over one.”

“Yes, human pleasure is one of the many functions I am trained in as well as destroying Shadows,” she said. “But not here. If anyone were to see it, they might think it’s indecent. Also I have to assure you that I will not do this kind of thing at school either. People would think it is indecent and you might get in trouble with Ms. Toriumi.”

He gulped. Oh yeah, she wouldn’t like that at all, he thought to himself. There’s no way she isn’t Maya. And my life is enough of a mess as is. Might make me stay after school for extracurricular activities. The thought sent a lustful shiver up his spine but if either of his two more interested classmates got a hint of that, there would be hell to pay.

“Really I think I’ll be fine...” he said. “Just let me stay in for a spell.”

She nodded and he shut the door again. He tried turning in but it just wouldn’t hit. Feeling a bit bored, he turned on the TV. He heard the catchy lingo of one of Tanaka’s commercials and saw the man himself advertising another gimmicky knock off item. But this one definitely caught his interest.

“Let’s bring out our item of the day! It iiiis, the Supervillain Lock! Do you see all those nifty home security systems and wish that there was something portable enough for your bedroom? Are you tired of your roommates snooping in at all hours of the night? Well worry no more! The Supervillain Lock will prevent anyone from getting into your room ever again! If you don’t know how to use it, you’ll even lock yourself out of your room forever! With the Supervillain Lock, even the police will be stumped! That’s where it got it’s name! You’d have to be a villain to want to use this thing! And it’s only for the extra low price of...”

He didn’t bother waiting to hear it. He ordered that thing right away. Tanaka immediately started laughing on the commercial. “That’s it! We’re all sold out for today! Sorry folks! The Supervillain Lock is also the only one of it’s kind! Rest assured happy customer, you will get more than your money’s worth!”

“Thank fuck...” Minato said. “Now maybe my life can go back to normal.” He shrugged. “Well as normal as it is being a teenager who fights demons at night by pretending to shoot himself in the head.”

That night, he locked the door again. He didn’t know how much good that would do, but he figured he’d try anyway. This time he wasn’t trying to get some shut eye, he was actually studying for a big test that was coming up in a couple of days. He hoped it was his imagination that he was hearing the door being tampered with, he didn’t need any distractions right now. After the previous two nights he should have known better, but he desperately wanted to believe that that was the case.

Then he did hear the creak of it opening and closing. Resigned to his fate, he looked up. As expected, it was Aigis. Unlike Fuuka and Yukari, she wasn’t wearing any spicy nightwear, being a robot and all. But he knew why she was here.

“Really, I think I don’t need that massage...” he said.

“I did not come here to give you a massage,” she said. “I came here to pleasure you.”

“Really I don’t think that...”

“But it is my duty to serve you. And I know that with Takeba and Yamagishi, you were feeling worse each morning after they had their way with you.”

He blinked. “How did you know...”

“I sensed that you were in danger. But when I realized you were just fucking them both, I realized that you were okay. Though them taking knives into your room worried me at first.”

“Yeah, no kidding...”

“I also know you have a big test coming up in several days. And I know my technique will help you get relaxed in all the right ways. Keep studying while I pleasure you good. According to my calculations, it will help you retain all the information that much better.”
