Chapter 1

This is the true story of what happened between me and my daughter. The writer of this story guided me every step of the way to make this fantasy of mine happen for real. I said “dear I am asking about your personal life with him”. She said “well Hansh barely spend any time with me. He is always outside and has been coming home very late”. I said “if there is something that you want to tell me then say it. Treat me as a friend instead of your papa”.

Anjali hesitated a lot, then she said “well let’s just say everything else is fine. Now can we talk about something else papa”? I continued “dear I am referring to your bedroom life because that is the first thing that takes a beating when the husband gets hooked to alcohol”.

Her face turned red with embarrassment, she slowly whispered “papa how do you expect me to discuss such things with you. If mom was around then it would have been easier”.

I replied “Anjali you very well know where mom is and she is never coming back. You also know how much I love you and will always have your back. So if looking at me as your best friend makes it easier then tell me everything”.
