Chapter 1: What’s a Sex Party?

Beth and I were talking on our cell phones one night about a movie we had both been wanting to see when she suddenly switched the conversation over to a totally different topic.

“You know Kelly,” she said with a giggle, “It’s been a long time since you joined one of our parties. How about tomorrow night?”

She didn’t have to explain what she meant by “one of our parties”. I knew EXACTLY what she meant. Last summer Beth introduced me to the bizarre world of sex parties. I think some people might refer to them as orgies or swinger parties but to me that gives the wrong impression.

When I think of an orgy I picture a room of people all going at it, switching partners, etc. Swinger parties involve couples sharing partners. At Beth’s parties we certainly have sex but it is more of a laid back situation involving unassociated people. Folks do it with one another for a while and then may just watch someone else or have a bite to eat or drink. Boyfriend and girlfriends showing up together was discouraged and married couples were outright banned. The emphasis also seem to focus more on small groups or one-to-one than large groups or “gangbangs”.

Access to these parties was by invitation only and only people who have been actively involved for a long time were allowed to invite someone. If you do invite someone then you are also responsible for them and could even lose your invitation privileges if they didn’t work out. Beth was one of the more frequent attendee at these ever since she had turned eighteen and so far me and my cousin were the only people she has risked inviting. I would like to think we more than met expectations!
