Evan should have known better. He wasn’t great with directions, and trying to meet his friend at a new bar on the other side of town was already a bad idea. His phone buzzed, the GPS app stubbornly pointing him toward a sleek, upscale townhouse. That couldn’t possibly be the place. He rechecked the address: Twenty-One Ridgewood Place. This was it, but it looked too refined for a casual night out.
As he stood on the doorstep, unsure whether to knock or turn around, two men in stylish clothes brushed past him, heading inside with an ease that made Evan feel out of place. He followed them hesitantly.
Inside, the soft glow of dim lights cast long shadows on plush leather furniture. The atmosphere felt charged, sexual even, and yet strangely welcoming. Music hummed in the background, just loud enough to drown out small talk but not so loud as to be invasive.
Before Evan could second-guess himself, a hand clapped his shoulder gently, making him turn.
“You look like you’re new here,” said a tall man with a sharp jawline and piercing eyes.
“I’m Mark, the host. You must be Evan, right?”
“How ... did you know my name?” Evan stammered, caught off guard.
“Jake mentioned you,” Mark replied with a smooth smile, gesturing toward a man across the room.
“He saw you come in and figured you’d need someone to break the ice.”
Evan looked over and spotted Jake, a confident, muscular man with a mischievous grin. His t-shirt hugged his chest tightly, and his gaze lingered on Evan for a moment longer than casual politeness allowed. He nodded in greeting, raising a drink in his direction. Something about the look in his eyes made Evan’s pulse quicken.
Mark patted him on the back, then disappeared into the crowd, leaving Evan standing there, uncertain. The realization dawned slowly but surely: this wasn’t a regular party. The glances exchanged between men, the casual way they touched each other’s arms and backs, the charged energy in the air this was some kind of sex party, and Evan had walked in by accident. Before he could slip away, Jake approached him.
“Don’t be shy,” Jake said, his voice low and smooth as he handed Evan a drink.
“Most people are a little nervous at first. But trust me, you’re in good company.”
“I think I made a mistake,” Evan said, though he didn’t move. Something in Jake’s gaze pinned him in place, an unspoken promise lingering between them.
“Or maybe you found exactly what you didn’t know you were looking for,” Jake countered, his eyes never leaving Evan’s.
“Relax. No one’s going to push you into anything, but if you’re curious ... well, you’re already here.”
The subtle command in Jake’s tone, the way his hand lightly brushed against Evan’s arm, sent a thrill up his spine. His mind raced. He wasn’t supposed to be here. This was completely outside his comfort zone. But there was something magnetic about Jake’s presence, something that made it hard to think clearly.
“Come on,” Jake continued, his voice lowering, becoming more intimate.
“Why don’t we sit and talk for a bit? Get comfortable.”
Without waiting for an answer, Jake led Evan to a couch in the corner. Evan followed, feeling the intensity of Jake’s presence next to him, the heat between them growing with every passing second. They sat close, knees almost touching. Evan sipped his drink, trying to steady his nerves.
“So, you’ve never been to one of these before,” Jake said, leaning in closer, his breath warm against Evan’s skin.
“No ... never,” Evan admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.
Jake chuckled softly, his hand casually resting on Evan’s thigh, fingers brushing the fabric of his jeans.
“I can tell. But that’s okay. We’ve all been there.”
Before Evan could respond, another figure appeared, sliding onto the couch beside him. It was Alex, a striking man with a confident swagger who made his intentions clear from the moment he sat down. His eyes flickered over Evan, taking him in slowly.
“You didn’t tell me we had fresh meat tonight,” Alex said to Jake, his tone teasing but undeniably assertive. He leaned in closer to Evan, their shoulders brushing.
“Looks like you stumbled into the right place after all.”
Evan felt the heat rising in his face, caught between the two men. Alex’s presence was bolder than Jake’s, more forward, and the way his fingers trailed along Evan’s arm sent shivers down his spine.
“Maybe,” Evan said, his voice trembling slightly.
Alex chuckled, his hand finding its way to Evan’s other thigh, resting there like it belonged.
“There’s no maybe about it, Evan. You’re here, and that’s enough for us.”
The casual way Alex’s hand slid just slightly upward, was enough to make Evan’s heart race. His pulse pounded in his ears as he glanced from Alex to Jake. He hadn’t expected this. But now that he was here, now that he could feel their warmth, their breath close to his skin, he wasn’t sure he wanted to leave.
“We’re not going to force you into anything,” Jake said softly, his fingers tracing circles on Evan’s knee, “but we’re also not going to pretend there isn’t something between us.” Evan swallowed hard. The tension in the air had shifted, thickened with desire, and he could feel it pulling him in.
His breath hitched as Alex leaned closer, his lips grazing Evan’s ear.
“You don’t have to decide anything right now,” Alex whispered, his voice smooth and full of promise.
“But if you want to ... we’ll take care of you.”
The words sent a jolt through Evan’s body. He hadn’t realized how much he craved this, the attention, the closeness. The pull between them was undeniable, and for the first time that night, Evan didn’t feel out of place.
He looked at Jake, whose eyes were dark with intent, and then at Alex, who was watching him with an almost predatory glint in his eyes. The weight of their expectation hung heavy, but it wasn’t oppressive. It was ... inviting.
