The two women gracefully strolled out of Laurie’s office, their heels clicking in a rhythmic beat on the polished marble floors. Their destination was their go-to bar for happy hour, the perfect place to relax after a hectic day at work. As they indulged in fruity cocktails, Laurie eagerly relived her steamy night with Maverick, her eyes lighting up as she recounted the details of their passionate encounter. Veronica couldn’t help but feel a twinge of envy towards Laurie’s exciting love life.
