Chapter 2

A few days later the two were again sitting in a booth in the same bar.

“Things any better?” Asked Brad.

“Worse!” replied his friend, “It’s getting to where I can’t seem to focus on the two of us at all. But rather in my mind I keep seeing her stripping and doing it with other men. Half the time I can’t even get it up unless I concentrate on the fantasy instead of on her.”

“Oh, man, you do have it bad. Have you thought about what you’re going to do?”

“I was hoping you might have an idea.”

“Are you kidding? My only idea would be to quit fantasizing and concentrate on the real thing. My god, Charlie, she’s got the face-off an angel and a body that ... well let me just say that while I can’t speak from first hand experience, I can tell you I’ve seen her in a Bikini the times we’ve all gone to the beach together and if I were married to her the ONLY thing I would fantasize about would be getting her home and into bed.”

“I know, I know, but I just can’t help it. I’ve just got to know that she really prefers me and not other guys.”

“Has she ever been unfaithful?”

“Are you kidding? She may have the face and body of a ten-thousand dollar a night call girl, but when it comes to marriage she’s as straight and narrow as as they come.”

“Then I don’t see how...” started Brad.

“Look, I’ve given this a lot of thought over the last few days. I need to find a guy who will take her to bed and fuck her brains out.”

“Charlie, do you hear yourself?”

“Look, Brad, I know it sounds crazy but if I can get her to screw a guy and then tell me she still prefers me I think maybe I can put these fantasies behind me.”

“And do you have someone in mind?” Asked Brad

“As a matter of fact I do. YOU!”

Brad’s mouth dropped open. “What? Me? You’ve got to be kidding.”

“I’m not kidding at all. Look, I want someone I can trust. I mean, first, l want someone who isn’t going to try to steal her away. You’re the king of one-night stands but marriage scares the crap out of you.”

“Well, okay you’ve got me there, but...”

“And secondly, I want someone who I don’t have to worry about health wise.”

“You mean...?”

“Yeah, there’s a lot of nasty stuff out there these days and I know that despite you being the king of one night stands, you also take precautions.

“Okay, that’s true too, but...”

“And I don’t want some crazy, druggie or psychopath putting his paws on Lori. I don’t want her hurt.”

“Hey, you know I’m not into that sort of thing.”
