“What’re you doin’ here, Jake?” Marcy Gilroy was covering the gift shop while the usual gal took a break. Ain’t it your day off? And why are you such a mess?”

It’s got a nice bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon in there too, to go with the chocolates. And there’s some bubble bath and lotions in there.” She pointed out the baskets on one of the lower shelves.

“Can you put it on my bill?” he asked as he sauntered out the door, basket in hand. He was happy to see that Jamie was still in the dining room talking with the hostess, trying to convince her to have the chef cook the fish they’d caught earlier in the day.
