A surprised look briefly passed over Merula’s face as you took your seat. After a moment, she shook off her initial shock and produced a piece of parchment. “Actually, today it’s either Charms or Transfiguration,” she informed you. After pondering for a few minutes, you decided on Charms. She muttered to herself, “Alright,” and you both opened your textbooks.
“These past few weeks, we’ve learned Reducio, Engorgio, and Erecteco,” she began. As she explained, your mind wandered to the potential applications of these spells.
After several hours of tutoring, Merula suddenly stopped talking. You glanced over and realized she had fallen asleep. You quietly stood up, retrieved your blanket from your room, and returned to the common room.
